Vienna Hotels with Bars

The hotel staff were all polite and proactively greeted us. Check-in at the front desk was fast, welcoming, and professional 👍. The room was spacious, larger than many European hotels, and the bedding was new and of high quality. The lobby offered various lounge areas, and upon entering the hotel from the main entrance, we were greeted by a beautiful, historic-looking porch and a subtle, pleasant fragrance. The location is excellent. The Belvedere Palace is less than a ten-minute walk away, and we could even see it and the adjacent University of Vienna Botanical Garden from our hotel room window, making for a pleasant stroll. Within a 20-minute walk, you can also reach the famous St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Golden Hall, and the main attractions of the Old Town. There's a tram stop right outside the hotel, with direct service to the central train station.

Excellent Accessibility to Airport and City Center The subway, airport transfers, and walking to the city center were all incredibly convenient and great. Having a large supermarket and food court right in front of the hotel was also extremely convenient. Even with the scorching June weather, the hotel's proximity allowed us to easily pop back in from exploring the city to cool down, which was fantastic.^ The lounge access was also satisfying (though closing at 8 PM was a slight disappointment), and we made good use of the food and beverages, especially given Vienna's high prices. We upgraded from a city panorama view to a park view room, which was a great decision. The eye-level view of St. Stephen's Cathedral and the park was truly healing for all three days we were there.♡

A great stay with a very convenient location, easy access to trams and the U-Bahn. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped. The breakfast was also a real plus, featuring a fresh and varied selection.

★Overall Rating If I visit Vienna again, I would definitely stay at this hotel. I was truly impressed by both its excellent location and the outstanding service provided by the staff. ★Location The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from Stephansplatz, where many of Vienna’s major attractions are located. From the hotel, you can easily walk to famous sights such as St. Stephen’s Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, the Vienna State Opera, and Hofburg Palace. In my opinion, it would be difficult to find a hotel with a better location than this. ★Room The room was very clean and well maintained. From my window, I had a view of the Donner Fountain, which was a lovely bonus. One minor issue was that the shower area could not be completely closed, so water often splashed onto the floor around the toilet and sink. In addition, the shampoo and hand soap dispensers were quite difficult to press, so you may prefer to bring your own toiletries. I’m not sure whether they came in through the open window, but I noticed around eight small insects in the room during my stay. ★Service The reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Although I arrived about three hours before the official check-in time, they kindly allowed me to check in early and rest in my room. They also patiently explained how to get from the train station to the airport. One of the Asian housekeeping staff members greeted me warmly with a smile whenever we passed each other in the hallway. When I found insects in my room, a housekeeping staff member came to assist me. She kindly said, “If you have any problems, please don’t hesitate to call us anytime.” Her response was thoughtful and greatly appreciated. The hotel also provided complimentary treats in the room, including Manner wafers, Coca-Cola, and apple juice, which was a nice touch.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to the subway, light rail, and a bus terminal, and only a 30-minute drive from the city center. Schönbrunn Palace and the zoo are just across the street! The hotel grounds are beautiful, like a castle with its own garden. The room was quite spacious with a vintage decor, but the bed was too soft for a good night's sleep. Be aware that for environmental reasons, the hotel doesn't provide disposable toiletries or slippers. Also, towels are only replaced if you leave them on the floor.

Lovely, quirky hotel in an excellent location. It's an easy walk into central Vienna, and sites like the Parliament, Rathaus and Leopold Museum are practically on the doorstep. Transport links around Vienna are excellent, with the U2 station almost within shouting distance. Staff speak excellent English, and are friendly and helpful. Comfortable, if smallish room, and well sound insulated. Only fault is the erratic WiFi. It often dropped, making streaming a frustrating experience. The onsite restaurant makes decent pizza at a good price - a decent option if you don't fancy going out.

The listing said there was a bathtub, but my room didn't have one. The room photos also showed rooms with only a shower, so it might be that rooms are assigned randomly. If you really want a bathtub, it's probably a good idea to note it in the special requests section. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and it had a fridge. There are also lots of supermarkets nearby, which was a plus.

I booked a triple room for 3 adults and first I was given a room with one bed only, so, was forced to to get back to the reception with all the things and then they gave me a room with 2 beds and a smaller folding bed. Please pay attention, that they call 15m room - ”triple”. Also, instead of proper door to the bath room, there was a sliding glass door with a hole instead of a handle which didn't provide any privacy. All the facilities were very low, like for small kids, shower cabin is extremely small, no toiletries. Poor pillows, bad matrasses. To switch AC on/off you have to call to the reception.

The hotel is very centrally located in Vienna. The atmosphere and the staff are perfect. It was a pleasant stay but you can really hear the people from the other room. I hope they can solve this. Sometimes, I wake up from people shouting in the nearby rooms. Good this is, it right next to the bus and tram station so you can you anywhere right away.
