Yantai Beach Hotels

The Golden Gulf Hotel Yantai looks old from the outside but the interior is nicely furnished with modern technology. They use robots to send guest needs, they had heated toilet seats for the winter used. Among the 4 hotels I stayed at on this trip they are the only ones that provide heated toilet seats. That is their facility that impressed me. If they are not considered a local 5 Star hotel, they definitely have a 6 Star service. Service from the front office staff, to the operator from the call center and the host at the restaurant were excellent. They definitely left a very good impression on me as a guest of the hotel. Special thanks to Serene and Jenny at the front office for the excellent service provided during my stay. Will surely come back to stay here again when I visit Yantai in future.

Traveling with kids, we chose the Benarui Ting Hotel First Bathing Beach. The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a one or two-hundred-meter walk to the First Bathing Beach, and there's a bus stop right outside the hotel, offering direct routes to all the attractions. Since we were staying with children, sand-digging tools were delivered directly to our room. From check-in to check-out, a staff member named Xiao Meng left a deep impression on me. Her service was professional, her attitude kind, and she was able to accommodate my requests. I'd definitely give her a thumbs-up. The housekeeping staff also did a very professional and thorough job with cleaning. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Yantai in the future.

Overall, my stay was great. The front desk staff were friendly and Jade checked me in very efficiently. The room was clean and tidy, with fresh bedding, and the bathroom facilities worked perfectly with no unpleasant smells. The location is convenient for getting around, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It was quiet at night, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel offers good value for money, pays attention to detail, and exceeded my expectations. It's suitable for both short trips and longer stays. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area and would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation.

We stayed at the Sheraton Yantai for a family vacation. The staff, including LUCAS XIANG, were incredibly courteous and polite. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. The soundproofing in the rooms is superb, and the hardware facilities are very well-maintained. Overall, in terms of value for money among high-end hotels in Yantai, it's a strong contender. It's also very close to the beach, so it's a great option if you're traveling with kids!

This five-star hotel truly offers five-star service. Alice Sun at the front desk was very nice. The hotel lobby is spacious, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast selection is excellent. There's direct access to Wanda Plaza from the hotel's B1 level, where you can find all sorts of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. Plus, there are many attractions nearby, such as Suochengli, Chaoyang Street Pedestrian Street, and Yantai Mountain Scenic Area. Free parking for self-drivers is a huge convenience. If you visit during the off-season, the value for money is even better. Highly recommended!

Our family trip to Yantai Xinguang Marriott Hotel with our child was a perfect seaside getaway. The stunning views, excellent kids' facilities, and thoughtful service were all impeccable, leaving us feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated! The hotel boasts an amazing location in the Golden Beach Resort area, backed by a tranquil black pine forest and facing the vast Bohai Sea. Our sea-view room offered a spectacular 180° panorama of the blue sky, turquoise sea, and golden sands. Waking up to the morning sun and sea breeze, and watching the romantic sunset over the ocean in the evening, every photo we took was a beautiful, therapeutic seascape. The hotel garden provides direct access to the beach, making walks and beachcombing incredibly convenient. As a top choice for family holidays, the hotel's child-friendly amenities are exceptionally comprehensive. The exclusive Jungle Adventure themed family room was filled with childlike wonder, complete with children's bathrobes and dedicated toiletries. The hotel features a delightful kids' playground, hands-on craft activities, and a clean, comfortable heated swimming pool with a kids' splash area. We even received complimentary sand-digging tools upon check-in. Our child had a blast all day long, giving us parents some much-needed free time. What truly touched us was the hotel's service – attentive, warm, and thoughtful throughout our stay. Rose handled our check-in efficiently and quickly, with a gentle and patient demeanor. All our requests were promptly met, and the meticulous attention to detail throughout our stay truly showcased Marriott's quality. The overall environment was clean, elegant, and had a serene, comfortable atmosphere. It's perfectly suited for both family vacations with kids and relaxing getaways. It's now at the top of our must-stay list for Yantai, and we'll definitely choose it again on our next visit!

This is my second stay at this hotel, and both times have been great. The hotel environment is beautiful, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The Chinese restaurant's food is also very tasty. The front desk and housekeeping staff are all very dedicated and provide excellent service. You can walk to see the sunrise in just five minutes. The room facilities are clean and well-equipped. I'll definitely be back next time.

The positive attitude and service performance of the staff ranging from front desk, concierge/security to breakfast restaurant and house keeping is excellent. The classic hotel personal service with a modern twist makes the stay a memorable experience. On my check-in, Ms Xiao Jiao and Ms Xiao Cong gave me and explained briefly the leaflet on the hotel’s suggested tourist attractions in Yantai. They also enthusiastically exchanged small RMB notes with me. They also gave me a piece of mooncake of my choice (and during my check-out too). The restaurant staff is attentive, replenishing food and drinks and attending to requests promptly. Due to my lack of command of Mandarin and accent, the chef cooked the wanton instead of the mackerel dumplings for me, he immediately served me the dumplings when he realised the miscommunication. The next morning, after serving me the mackerel dumplings, he, I think, recognised me, suggested I could add soup and condiments to the dumplings. I find their fleshly cooked dumplings are even better than the dumplings from the most famous dumplings restaurant in Yantai. The concierge staff on 2 days helped me book taxi using her phone app, paying in advance on my behalf as booking via internet cannot be settled in cash. The concierge/front desk lent me umbrella without question. After a delayed and tiring flight, Mr Xiao Gao brought me to my room and explained the mechanics of the switches in the room. There was a hand-written welcome note from Ms Liu, with 2 cups of white fungus/goji drink beside it. The drink together with the note and fruits in the room, not only soothed my dry throat but also lifted the mood. House keeping provided fruits, white fungus/goji drink and dried chrysanthemum/rose flowers (to prepare for drinking) and 4 bottles (500 ml) of water daily, with up to 14 bottles at the lift lobby on my floor, and guests can also request house keeping for more bottles. On my check out day, during my breakfast, they left at the door handle, a bag of goodies, fruits and bottles of water and souvenirs (4 key chains with various types of sea shells), together with a hand-written farewell/bon voyage note from Ms Liu. Well done The Center Hotel staff, you are a pride to the hotel, the hospitality industry and Yantai!

The rooms and hotel facilities are great, with three different hotel styles sharing amenities like a playground and hot springs. It definitely holds its own against other resort hotels. It's a shame that operating in the northern off-season can be tough, as some facilities aren't fully open during that time. Breakfast at the Knight Hotel can get a bit crowded and noisy. We even received complimentary night tickets to the Three Immortals Mountain during the holiday. Staff seemed a bit limited, but I hope things improve in the future!

For the first time, I felt the feeling of opening the door and seeing the sea, and the sea was right in the room. The beds were made neatly and the room was very clean. The two sisters at the front desk were nice and kind. I don’t know if they were the bosses, but when they saw that we were from out of town, they recommended travel tips to us and gave us coffee shop coupons. I didn't have time to experience the cafe, which is a bit regrettable. We went there in mid-September, catching the transition from summer to autumn, and the temperature in Yantai was just right at that time. The only drawback was that there was a strong wind at sea that day, making it difficult for people to stand steadily, but the waves were still rolling in layer upon layer, and when the window was opened, the sound of the waves was piercing. My friend said that he had seen a different sea. Rent an electric scooter to travel around the island during the day, and come back in the evening to sit on the tatami and watch the sunset.
