Fukuoka Beach Hotels

"The location is great! It is close to the subway station and near Naka River. You can walk to Yatai Zone in a short distance. It is also near Donki, MatsuKiyo, Kawabata Shopping Street and Ichiran Ramen Original Store. The hotel has a luxury design. The room is cozy. Even though it is 12 sq.m., I can still unpack my 28-inch luggage by moving the chair aside. There are pajamas provided. Great facilities overall, but the water temperature was a not that hot (I expected it to be hotter). You can drop your luggage at the hotel. You can borrow an umbrella. Free beer provided in the evening at the bar. The staff is very nice, very welcoming and very helpful."

"Getting there: It's about a 10-minute walk from Tenjin subway station, which can be a bit of a hassle with luggage because Fukuoka's terrain isn't always flat, especially on a rainy day. However, Tenjin shopping district is right outside the subway station, with lots of fun things to do, and there's also a train station where you can catch a ride to Dazaifu! After you exit the hotel alley, one way leads to Tenjin shopping district and the other to Canal City Hakata. There's even a huge 24-hour gachapon store along the way. Plus, there are tons of restaurants and izakayas right next to the hotel, which is super convenient. Cost: !!! You have to pay a 200 yen accommodation tax per night upon check-in. I was a bit confused because I didn't have to pay this at hotels in Osaka or Kyoto. Lobby: They offer free mango juice and fruit tea, which are really good. It's very quiet, and there's a Korean staff member at the front desk you can converse with in Korean. They also provide various amenities, including makeup remover, toner, and lotion. Room: Very quiet and clean. Surroundings: There's a Lawson convenience store right around the corner that has a currency exchange machine. I recommend exchanging your money there before you leave, as Fukuoka has very few currency exchange machines, and even Hakata JR station doesn't have one. I would consider staying here again."

"it’s really nice here 9/10 for me, it’s my first time staying in all gender it was decent! not cramped not noisy not too many people that goes in and out that could disturb you. i had a really pleasant stay and sleep well!!!! my pods was just near the door, respecting their very own privacy!! 😭😭✨ the downside was the second concierge staff was good at english but not to nice to me as i was checking in, but as i was checking out the Japanese woman helped me a lot she was sooo pretty and nice!!!✨ the first picture ( i thought its someone’s phone 😭) turn out it’s a remote control fr fr"

"The restaurant offers different items at different times. There's a self-service onigiri machine where you press a button and a rice ball comes out, and you can add toppings like mentaiko salmon and seaweed yourself. Milk is also available, along with a beverage machine. There are two types of bread. They also have ice cream, but the seating is a bit small, so if you come late, you might have to stand. Plus, there are three types of cookies and self-serve shaved ice. There's also a shuttle bus to Itoshima, which is very convenient."
