Het hotel is mooi maar afgelegen, het strand was niet noemenswaardig, maar verder wel mooi en rustgevend.
Personeel is heel vriendeljjk.
Wel was er een 50 inch tv maar geen zenders.
Fitness was klein en benauwd.
Bij ontbijt geen buffet maar a la card, was op zich geen probleem maar wel wachten tot er eten werd gebracht.

The Sea was a hidden hideaway. The staff were so friendly & helpful. It was a little further away from the hustle & bustle, but when I visited other areas, I couldn’t wait to get back to the Sea. The beach was beautiful.

Hotel Ploen, situated in the heart of Chaweng, offers prime access to the district’s vibrant energy. With the iconic Chaweng Beach, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs all within walking distance, the location is ideal for those seeking a central and lively stay. The hotel boasts clean, well-maintained rooms and friendly, responsive staff who ensure a comfortable experience. However, the breakfast selection is limited to just fruits, yoghurt and coffee, which might be insufficient for some travelers. Additionally, while the central location provides easy access to many points of interest, exploring the broader island is recommended, and due to high taxi fares, renting a bike is a more cost-effective option. Overall, Hotel Ploen is a good choice for travelers seeking a central location and easy access to Chaweng's nightlife and beach scene.

The service is very good and responsive to all requests. The swimming pool is of suitable depth. There is also a children's pool of 1.5 meters. The beach is right outside the door. However, we didn't go to the beach much. We basically stayed in the hotel, went out for massages, and took the children to swim in the afternoon. It was very comfortable for the whole family. Someone cleaned up after breakfast, and the bowls were cleaned every day. My parents were very satisfied.
