Guest UserThis hotel is an absolute gem! I spent a lot of time choosing a hotel in Longji Terraces, debating whether to go to Pingan or Dazhai. We are so happy and grateful we ended up staying at Yanduoshansu Hotel. Everything about it was incredible. Gorgeous location at the highest point in Pingan Village, with a panoramic view of the rice terraces and village, without feeling crowded among other lodges. At night we slept with the windows open to the sound of a mountain stream and cool air. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. But the highlight was the hosts who were so kind and friendly, despite language barriers. They helped us with luggage transfers, tips for hiking around the terraces and cooked the most wonderful, flavourful homemade dinner and breakfast - probably the best food we had on our trip to Guilin. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Traveling with my family, young and old, during the May Day holiday, the room view was absolutely incredible! We could just lie on the sofa by the window and enjoy the stunning terraced fields – so comfortable and relaxing. The B&B is right next to the 'Thousand-Layer Terraces,' about a 15-20 minute walk away. Alternatively, the owner can drop you off at the cable car station to take the cable car up to 'Jinfoding' (Golden Buddha Peak), which the room directly faces. It made for a truly amazing experience.
Dining at the B&B was also super convenient. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were authentic. A glass of their homemade rice wine really awakens your taste buds and lifts your spirits! 😁

Leonie WigleyI had an absolutely wonderful stay here. I went out of season, so I was the one of the only guests for two days, this made if even more special. if you travel during rainy season make sure to have rainboots and rain proof coats etc. The nights and mornings can get very cold so prepare warm clothes. The family helped me from booking a local shuttle bus from Yangshuo to arrive and departing and also picked me up on my day of arrival from the park entrance. The Homestay is quite far up the hills, not very easy to find you need to carpool or ask owners to help with scooter ride, but the views and people make it all the worthwhile. It is close to many hiking trails and view points. The family welcomed me with so much love the room was exactly as it said. Their food and pricing is also very affordable. They family is of the local ethnicity and they gave me an up-close view in their lives and their traditional ways. I tasted their rice wine, chilli paste , traditional tea and bamboo rice and many other delicious foods. The owners and family are very helpful and if you have any questions, or want to know more of need to get to a certain part of the area they are happy to help. This family and their black dog filled my heart with so much love and gratitude. Note for for foreign travelers: They don't speak English, but do not let this scare you if you are a foreigner, translator apps are helpful if you can't understand the language.
Overall, I highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil and family-like feeling enjoy the outdoors and nature. I will definitely be going back!

My stay at Tenglongge Panoramic Inn was an unforgettable package of delightful surprises and genuine warmth!
First off, the location is simply unbeatable – truly the prime viewing spot for the Longji Terraces. Open your window, and you're immediately greeted by the breathtaking, undulating curves of the rice paddies. When the clouds and mist roll in, it feels like living inside a classical painting. And watching the wisps of smoke rise from the valley at dusk, time genuinely seems to slow to a crawl. The inn itself is also incredibly clean and comfortable; every nook and cranny is meticulously tidied, making it a perfectly reassuring choice for families traveling with children.
The proprietress was even more heartwarming, treating us like close family. She welcomed us with hot tea the moment we arrived, enthusiastically sharing tips on the best spots for sunset views and recommending the most delicious bamboo rice. She even helped us carry our luggage all the way to our room.
But what I'll truly remember for a lifetime was the 'drone scare' that evening! It was already dark, and I was trying to capture night photos of the terraced fields when I accidentally flew my drone a bit too high. With the low visibility, it crashed into the trees, and I instantly panicked. As I was squatting on the ground, frantically trying to figure out what to do, the innkeeper appeared with a flashlight and simply said, 'Come on, I'll help you find it!'
It was pitch black in the mountains that night, impossible to see your hand in front of your face, and the path was incredibly steep. As we walked, a small venomous snake suddenly darted out, scaring me so much I almost screamed. But with lightning-fast reflexes, the innkeeper grabbed a branch and deftly pushed the snake away. We continued our search for nearly half an hour, stumbling through the uneven terrain, until we finally located the drone, tangled in grass and leaves within the bushes. I was overwhelmed with gratitude and relief, yet still shaking from the scare. He was drenched in sweat but kept repeating, 'As long as it's found, that's all that matters.'
This wasn't just a hotel stay; it truly felt like finding kind-hearted family in the mountains! And as for the scenery? Words aren't enough – I'll just let the photos speak for themselves. After all, even a tiny glimpse through the lens is enough to linger in your memory for a long, long time. Next time I'm in Longji, I'm definitely staying here again!

We came at an unfortunate timing. Faced with fog and rain we are unable to venture out to enjoy the rice terrace view.
Stayed in our room to see the nearby rice terrace.
Settled our meal within the hotel. Lady boss was a good cook being able to showcase many local dishes.
If better amenities can be provided that will be ideal - proper towels (not disposable), complimentary coffee.
Nevertheless overall it’s a great stay.

Everything was amazing. We opted to upgrade our room when we got there for a higher floor. The view was really nice (when there was no fog). The man who ran the hotel also spoke good English meaning he could explain routes to us. Hotel was also located close to the gate meant convenient access to the transportation in and out of the park. Rooms were also very spacious and the hotel provided for everything that was needed.
Only drawback I would say is the lack of an elevator. Meaning if you’re on the fourth floor like we were, it was a hike up and down everyday.

The views from both the restaurant and the rooms are absolutely breathtaking. We could see the stunning 'Seven Stars with Moon' landscape, and in the morning, we were even treated to a beautiful sea of clouds. The hostess is an incredible cook; all the dishes we ordered, like the bamboo tube rice, bamboo tube chicken, and green pepper beef, were delicious. Breakfast was excellent too! The owners and their family were so warm and welcoming. This is hands down the best homestay I've ever stayed at. I definitely plan to return if I get the chance!

Had an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.

This is the second time I have come to Longji. I lived on the edge of the Five Tigers in Kowloon last time. I didn’t climb to the mountain much. However, that one is a mountain view, that is, the room does not have terraces. Therefore, this time I want to say that I will try it in Ping'an Village. This should be an old hotel, but the sanitary landscape is first-class. Although unlike the Kowloon Five Tigers, you can take the shuttle bus to the hotel entrance, but this one will only take two minutes to get off the bus. The hotel’s food is cooked by the proprietress. The hotel’s pick-up service is the boss’s own responsibility. The bed linen and bath towels are very clean and the water is very hot. The large balcony is even more direct to the terraces, the price is super high, it is recommended. Figure 1 and 2 are taken from the balcony, super beautiful. . By the way, there are many shops on the Kowloon Five Tigers that borrow folk costumes, a set of 20 yuan, really, come here, it is still very good to borrow a set of photos.
