Hotels with Breakfast in Almaty

I booked Hotel Voyage online. Although I planned to stay in Almaty for about two days, I initially booked only one night. The reason was simple: I have found that many hotels look much better online than they do in reality, so I wanted to see the actual conditions before extending my stay. I arrived in Almaty from Paris via Istanbul at around 5:00 a.m. When I reached the hotel, the receptionist told me that if I wanted to check in early, I would have to pay an additional fee equal to about 50% of the room rate. I could not afford that extra charge. After discussing the situation for a while, I asked if they could contact the hotel manager. Eventually, the receptionist said that I could stay in the room for the time being, but she could not make the final decision until the manager arrived at around 8:30 a.m. I agreed and stayed in the room. At about 8:30 a.m., I went back to the front desk and met a very friendly young woman named Gaukhar, who spoke excellent English. After I explained my situation, she kindly told me that I would not have to pay the early check-in fee and warmly invited me to enjoy breakfast. Her attitude was professional, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. At first, I assumed she was the hotel manager, but I later learned that she was not. It seemed that she had already discussed my situation with the manager before speaking with me. Because of this positive experience, I decided to extend my stay for another night, making my total stay two nights. Overall, I was very satisfied with Hotel Voyage. The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the hot and cold water both had excellent pressure, and the room was equipped with a safety deposit box and everything I needed. Every member of the staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast was also clean, fresh, and enjoyable. I can confidently recommend Hotel Voyage to anyone visiting Almaty. I had a pleasant 4.5 nights stay with them! Room is huge and the is comfy! The room had a washing machine, so it made laundry seamless! Location is fine as long as you book thru Yandex. Sadly, only the cafe needs more work.. Many breakfast items were not available & the kitchen staff took too long preparing a simple meal. Hope you can look into it & make this hotel 5* standard! Thank you once again!

We had great time at Tenir Eco. At first, im a bit worried as im unsure how to go up and bring luggages direct from airport since we arrived direct from istanbul trip. But actually its quite easy. The hotel arranged to bring luggages up to hotel with payment of 5000 tenge(from shymbulak station to hotel reception). U have a choice to bring it yourslef but mind you that it is quite slippery from combi 2 to reception. So if u want to enjoy the moment just ask the hotel to bring the luggage for u. The hotel will give QR code for cable car ride from Medeu station to combi 1-combi 2 and back down. If u want more can ask them to buy for you. Around 4000 tenge. The hospitality is amazing , they provided all the necessity. And fast action too. They fixed the netflix so we could enjoy our 2nights stay. And although -12celcius was a challenge but the room got quite nice heat ‘ and u can always heat urself in the bathroom sauna, even the floor was heated. So we never feel tortured with the weather. Bring some food for dinner if u dont want to spend time going down too much. And u can heat it in sauna as well🙈. Host (ingkar) was a very nice person. He gave us two nice cheesecakes since netflix took time to be fixed. We stayed in Room Tenir 10 which was the last end room with nice romantic vibe and view. There’s night skiing and the skiers sometimes stop and wave to us while we watch them pass by. We also hike to nearby mountain and enjoy the scenery. It is super cold during winter and like a dream come true stay for us. As per going back you can request them to bring down luggage as well with same 5000 tenge tilk symbulak station. The food at syn32 also yummy n good. Go try the blueberry mint tea with mountain view. Its amazing. U can ski in ski out from the room itself. Sunset is perfect as well. I will return again in future. Perfect stay in Shymbulak 3200m…. Never regret it. And may try the paragliding as well. Looks fun too!

We stayed at Almaty Hotel again during another trip and had a very positive experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well located. It was easy to move around the city, visit nearby places, and find restaurants within walking distance. The staff were polite and helpful throughout the stay. Check in and check out were smooth, and everything was well organized. Overall, Almaty Hotel remained a reliable and pleasant place to stay in Almaty. I would recommend it and would stay there again.

I had a wonderful stay at Swissôtel Almaty. Everything was excellent - the rooms, service, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere of the hotel. A special highlight was the spa area, which is one of the best I have experienced. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge. I would also like to give a special thank you to Elena, the yoga instructor. Her class was professional, inspiring, and suitable for all levels. It was a great way to start the day and added a lot to my overall experience at the hotel. Thank you to the entire Swissôtel team for a fantastic stay. I will be happy to return in the future.

Overall, it was great. You can't go wrong staying here. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The staff are also incredibly hospitable. Laundry at the hotel is expensive, so I used the dry cleaning service inside the supermarket before Green Bazaar. They washed, dried, and folded my clothes in two hours for 6000 tenge. Highly recommended.

This famous hotel is the pride of Kazakhstan. It boasts a superb location in the city center with wonderful views from the windows. Housekeeping is daily. There's a kettle in the room, but tea bags aren't replenished. Water was provided daily, and there was always hot water. My room was on the 13th floor. The room is in dire need of renovation – it's old and dilapidated. The plumbing is chipped, and the walls are cracked. My request for a higher floor was ignored, with staff claiming no other rooms were available, even though they were. However, the views from the window are good, overlooking Kok Tobe mountain and the TV tower. A special shout-out to the hotel's restaurant! It's simply 10 out of 10! I haven't encountered such a variety and deliciousness of dishes in any other 5-star hotel. The restaurant is amazing! Breakfast is served from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, which is great! Currently (July 2026), there's renovation happening in the elevator lobby, but it doesn't affect the quality of our stay at all. Kudos to them for that!

Perfect stay at the Novotel city centre, upon checking in Armand at reception noticed it was my daughter’s birthday few days ago so he gave my daughter & son as toy gift which was very sweet! The hotel has decent clean rooms & it’s in the perfect location, the Koke tobe cable carts are next door & Dostyk mall is a 15mins walk away. The hotel had a great breakfast spread with fresh pastries and a variety of food choices, lunch & dinner menu can be improved a little but still ok it just has a limited variety. Unfortunately, the pool & spa was under maintenance so was not open so we couldn’t use. Also thanks to Armand we got a late check out for both our rooms! A very nice jolly chap!

Good location, convenient for travel, close to bus stops and the subway. It's a small, rather old hotel, but reasonably convenient for a 2-star rating. However, the hotel name isn't in English, it's in Kazakh, which can be a bit confusing.
