"The hotel upgraded us to the 28th floor, which had an even better view! We had a small issue during our stay, but the hotel's service was incredibly humane and proactive. They gave us a complimentary breakfast for two and sent us fruit. Another time, I urgently needed a computer to check something, and the hotel helped me resolve it within 2 minutes. The hotel is 500 meters from the Third Bathing Beach, perfect for an evening stroll with beautiful scenery and a beach along the way. The location is convenient for getting anywhere, and it's just a short taxi ride to the Olympic Sailing Center. I highly recommend it with a 10/10!"

"Basically, you can't go wrong with Atour. **Facilities:** This particular Atour is relatively simple; the rooms aren't huge, but the price reflects that. **Hygiene:** I didn't find any issues here. **Environment:** It's quiet, about a 20-minute drive from the airport. At night, the surroundings seemed a bit remote, but actually, the street it's on has pretty much everything you need further in. **Service:** Pleasant. The complimentary airport transfer driver was excellent."

"Booked a two-bedroom ocean view suite for my family. Waking up to the sea view every day was fantastic. It's a two-bedroom, one-living room suite with three bathrooms, meaning each bedroom has its own private bathroom for ultimate privacy. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station and MixC shopping mall, making shopping, dining, and exploring incredibly convenient. In the evenings, ordering late-night snacks was a breeze, with a delivery robot bringing them right to our room. The hotel is situated in the heart of Shinan District, surrounded by numerous attractions like Badaguan, the coastline, Olympic Sailing Center, Yanner Island, Signal Hill, the Church, and the Naval Museum. Getting around to these spots is super easy by taxi or a hired car. The hotel breakfast is a buffet with a great selection of both Western and Chinese options. Finally, a big shout-out to the hotel butler, who was incredibly responsive and provided excellent service."

"The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get around and close to most attractions. It's right next to MixC, which is great for kids' dining and entertainment. The hotel facilities are new, and the rooms are spacious. Housekeeping is very attentive, providing a full range of children's amenities like small toilet seats, bed rails, and small bottles of water. You can also borrow strollers and sand toys. The breakfast offers a wide variety, and I particularly enjoyed the Shandong-style 'sa tang' (soup) and large steamed bread slices with various spreads. The staff at the kids' club were wonderful with the children; my child was so sad to leave them. We originally booked for five days and four nights, but because Qingdao was cool and our stay was so comfortable, we extended for another four nights. My 3-year-old even called it his 'home in Qingdao'."

"I stayed for three nights, and each night I was in a different room. This was because I booked an economy room. I stayed on the 28th floor twice and then on the 18th floor for the last night, averaging about 200 yuan per night. The consistent issue was that the rooms were small; it would be a tight squeeze for two people, requiring some maneuvering around each other. The host was very nice and always responsive to questions and requests. However, I found the cleanliness to be a bit lacking. Many areas weren't cleaned properly by the cleaning staff. All three rooms had noticeable dirty spots, indicating a need for better training for the cleaning aunties. The location is indeed very convenient. However, I was a bit disappointed when I checked in. This place has many good reviews, but my experience was just average."

"Having visited Qingdao many times, I thought I knew all the local attractions. However, after checking into the Shangri-La, Guest Relations Manager Cherry's recommendations for lesser-known spots unlocked a whole new way to experience Qingdao. Tired of the overcrowded, Instagrammable sites like Zhanqiao Pier and Badaguan, I was looking for quiet, off-the-beaten-path viewpoints. Cherry, understanding my preferences, suggested heading up Signal Hill to the revolving observation deck. From there, you get a panoramic view of the old town's red roofs and azure sea, with fewer crowds – perfect for photos, and a great way to avoid large tour groups. For dining, she recommended Grandma Haiyan's Seafood Potsticker, an old local favorite. The cuttlefish potstickers, with their thin skin and generous filling, are a hidden culinary gem on Zhongshan Road. Cherry's communication was professional and poised, and she proactively shared tips on avoiding common tourist traps and expenses at attractions. While the hotel's accommodation quality was impeccable, it was Cherry's professional yet passionate service that truly stood out, breaking the stereotype of conventional front desk service. She thoughtfully curated a personalized itinerary for me, resulting in an exceptional experience. Definitely worthy of a five-star recommendation!"

"My stay at the Home Inns-owned Pai Bai Yun Hotel was full of pleasant surprises. The hotel's design was delightful; my room was right next to this large tree after exiting the elevator. The front desk staff were kind and attentive, always handling my needs promptly and efficiently. The room was exquisitely furnished and comfortable, with all the amenities working perfectly – my phone automatically charged when I placed it on the bedside table. It's also very close to the RT-Mart shopping area, and the cleanliness was impeccable, with every corner spotless. The overall atmosphere was quiet and elegant, making it a Home Inns-owned hotel I would definitely stay at again and again."

The concierge team provided incredibly detailed service, handling my luggage securely and proactively opening doors and greeting me upon my return. Their recommendations for local seafood restaurants were spot on and reliable. The Executive Lounge offers an unparalleled view, with a rich selection of afternoon tea and happy hour meals, and the staff were prompt in clearing tables. All the in-room appliances and bathroom amenities were immaculate and well-maintained. "The location is super convenient, right above the subway station. It's an old building, but it's been recently renovated on the inside. It's also really close to the train station. Definitely worth staying here, excellent value for money! **Amenities:** They have a new Panasonic hairdryer, which is a plus, but there was some hair on it from a previous guest. No mini-fridge, which isn't great if you want cold drinks in the summer. **Cleanliness:** Good, no weird smells in the room. **Service:** Very good!
