"After searching through many hotels along the coast, I felt that Haitan offered the best value for money! And my choice proved to be correct! The service at this five-star hotel is absolutely top-notch. As soon as we arrived, even before getting out of the car, they were already actively helping with our luggage. Since we were staying for four nights, the front desk upgraded our room type. The room facilities were excellent, with electric curtains and card-free power, adding a nice touch of human-centered design. The view was fantastic, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Qingdao's Third Bathing Beach. Our hotel butler, Lilith, checked in with us daily via WeChat to see how our stay was going and if we had any new needs, which she promptly met! The hotel's location is also superb, right between Badaguan and the Olympic Sailing Center! Plus, there's a mall right downstairs!"

"Jenny at the guest services center provided excellent service. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Service was prompt and efficient. The location is absolutely fantastic: a five-minute walk to the terminal, and you can even see the terminal from your room. Highly recommend for travelers arriving late or departing early."

"Right next to the Shangri-La, and less than a 10-minute walk to MixC shopping mall. I stayed for 4 nights. As it's a new hotel, all the facilities are brand new. The breakfast was the most pleasant surprise! There's a wide variety of dishes, especially a good selection of staple foods, and the flow of the buffet is quite well-planned. I particularly loved the 'Sa Tang' (a local soup), the jujube, and the egg, pork floss, and cheese pancake. The breakfast staff and the chefs at the hot food station were all energetic and very good-looking! Especially the chef at the noodle station – he'd always call out to let you know when your order was ready. Couldn't do without him. All in all, great location and excellent value for money! Highly recommended."

As a first-time visitor, I wasn't familiar with the local area or transportation, and online food guides were chaotic and unreliable, making me worried about picking the wrong places. Cherry understood my desire to try authentic local cuisine and went above and beyond by taking her personal time to hand-draw a food map. This map clearly marked genuine BBQ joints,特色混沌 (local specialty wontons), and other established local eateries in the Shinan District. She cleverly helped me avoid tourist traps, precisely noting store locations, opening hours, and average spending per person. Beyond that, she kindly advised on transportation methods and reminded me to steer clear of congested routes. The hotel's facilities were equally impressive. Our room was brightly lit with abundant natural light, and the soft furnishings were sophisticated yet minimalist. The housekeeping was impeccable, and amenities were always well-stocked. Cherry's sincerity shone through; there was no pushy sales talk, just naturally comfortable service. These thoughtful, personalized touches, though small, truly doubled the happiness of our trip. Elly was incredibly responsive and efficient, proactively checking in on my needs throughout my stay and patiently answering all my questions about the hotel and the surrounding area. Her service was both warm and professional. The room itself was spacious and bright, with all the facilities in perfect condition. The smart control system, comfortable bathtub, and other thoughtful details truly enhanced the stay, making it exceptionally comfortable. The infinity pool was absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking city and sea views through its floor-to-ceiling windows. The water temperature was perfectly maintained, and there were lounge chairs available for relaxing after a swim. The gym was incredibly high-end, featuring a wide variety of imported equipment and operating 24 hours a day, allowing for a quality workout anytime."

"I'm reviewing this quite strictly because it's priced the same as the five-star hotel next door. The room and facilities are relatively new, spacious, and very clean. The linens were all comfortable to use. The location and view are also excellent. Here are the downsides I'd like to highlight: The design details of various facilities in the room are quite average. For example, the shower head on the wall couldn't be adjusted, so you had to hold it, and it took a long time for hot water to come out. It was nice that laundry detergent pods were provided with the washing machine, but there was nowhere in the entire room to hang clothes. I suggest adding a retractable clothesline in the shower room. The room's air conditioning and ventilation system didn't work well. It felt stuffy and hot during the May Day holiday, and there was still a noticeable odor in the room, so I had to keep the windows open for ventilation throughout my stay. The TV had no free channels, everything had to be paid for, but thankfully, I could cast from my phone. The breakfast was probably on par with a three-star hotel and needs improvement."

We stayed in a sea-view room, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows were simply amazing. During the day, we had endless sea views and the city skyline, with the azure sea and sky complementing the urban architecture – every photo turned out to be stunningly atmospheric. At night, we could lie in bed and enjoy the spectacular May Fourth Square light show, with colorful lights reflecting on the sea, both romantic and breathtaking. We didn't have to brave the crowds to enjoy this visual feast. The room was spacious and open, decorated in a minimalist yet sophisticated German light luxury style, with exquisite details throughout. Natural wood grains paired with soft LED strip lighting created a warm and comfortable ambiance, completely free of any oppressive feeling. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the mattress offered just the right level of comfort, ensuring a restful night's sleep without any fatigue. The room facilities were comprehensive. The bathroom, with its wet and dry separation, was clean and tidy, and the toiletries were high-quality. The mini-bar was well-stocked with tea and snacks, and there was high-speed WiFi and an HD TV – everything needed for a trip. The cleaning service was meticulously thorough; the housekeeping staff cleaned every corner of the room immaculately. The room was tidied daily, and amenities were replaced on time, consistently maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. The attention to detail was exceptional. The hotel's service also deserves full marks, being attentive and professional from check-in to check-out, making us feel incredibly welcomed. The hotel's dining was equally impressive. The food quality was excellent, with a rich variety of fresh ingredients, allowing us to savor authentic flavors and cater to different tastes. The dining environment was clean and elegant, making for a very pleasant dining experience. All in all, the Magnificent Hotel by May Fourth Square in Qingdao is flawless, whether it's its unique location, comfortable and exquisite rooms, attentive and thoughtful service, or comprehensive facilities. It perfectly met all our accommodation needs for the trip. Our entire stay was comfortable and reassuring, and we truly experienced a high-quality accommodation. "I was on a solo vacation and chose the Hyatt for its beach access. I arrived in Qingdao and immediately started exploring, so by the time I checked in, it was already 8 PM. Front desk staffer Xiao Ning upgraded me to a sea-view room and even sent up some fruit, which instantly made all my travel fatigue disappear. I definitely have to give a big shout-out for that! Overall, even though the hotel is a bit older, the general experience, including the room, room service, and facilities, was excellent. The hotel breakfast was incredibly diverse and delicious. If you're coming to Qingdao and want to enjoy the beach, the Hyatt is basically a no-brainer choice!"
