MOYA boutique seaside hotel (Qingdao Laoshan Scenic Area Yangkou Branch)

Facilities: Everything is well-equipped, with a Dyson hairdryer, and the BEDDY by BRUNO toiletries, duvet, and pillows are all very comfortable. Cleanliness: Clean, didn't take photos of the room. Environment: Generally quiet, though the soundproofing of the door is a bit weak. Maybe ask the butler to think of a way to provide earplugs or something. Service: Excellent service, the butler is available 24/7. Any requests can be addressed to them. We were very satisfied with our one-night stay. Outside the hotel, there are parking spaces and charging stations. There's also a coffee bar that can deliver to the room, and dining options. You can get everything done in one stop if you just want to relax. The hotel can also help register and book Mount Laoshan, advising to arrive around 9 AM to avoid traffic at the checkpoint; it might get busy by 10 AM.

This was the third hot spring hotel I stayed at this winter, and it was also my favorite. Even before checking in, Manager Tang called to inquire and offered a free room upgrade. Because we have an elderly person in a wheelchair who has difficulty going to the hillside golf course, he arranged for shuttle service, which we were very grateful for! The food in the Chinese restaurant was delicious, and the rooms were clean, cozy, and tidy. They even served warm milk to help us sleep at night – a very thoughtful touch. The swimming pool inside the hot spring was our favorite feature, and the outdoor infinity pool even cured my cold – a truly unexpected delight. In short, I'm deeply moved by the hard work of all the staff and will definitely come back. Thank you!

Absolutely a five-star stay! The location is great and very convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, with smart home features and a giant projection screen that was incredibly comfortable. The best part was the breakfast, served from 7 AM to 1 PM, with a wide variety of options. The front desk even helped me with a late check-out, so I didn't have to rush. The service was thoughtful, with amenities like evening porridge, robot delivery, and free laundry, all very considerate. I'll definitely stay here again!

This was my second stay here, and the hotel service was excellent. Miss Lin Feng at the front desk was incredibly responsive to all my requests, and even reminded me when I left something in my room. The breakfast selection was extensive. This time, I stayed in Building 5, which is right next to the unpowered playground and soccer field, and my little one had a fantastic time playing there.

The moment I step in the hotel, can smell the herbal scent which is very soothing. Room is big and comfortable. Upgraded to family room with a sauna which was great. Love the herbal hot spring, very relaxing. The service was very good, especially 小懂, he was very helpful and always patient and polite. I would say of all my stays in this trip, this has the best service. Beddings and pillow were clean and fluffy like 5 stars hotel. On the side note, location of the hotel is abit out of way, have to walk a while to get to eateries. But there’s always food delivery so it’s ok. And there’s a convenience store at the lobby. Design and layout of room can be abit better, the window between the hot spring area and beds were too bright for a good sleep so it will be good to put up a curtain or blind there.

This hotel is nestled against the mountains, offering a very quiet stay, unlike other hotels and guesthouses in Yangkou that boast sea views. Its location is excellent for visitors planning to hike Yangkou; the cable car entrance is just a few minutes' walk away, and it's only about a 10-minute ride on the scenic tour bus to get to the main attractions. Staying here during public holidays can significantly cut down on queuing time. Although the hotel has been open for over 10 years, it's incredibly well-maintained and very clean. The rooms are spacious, and so are the bathrooms. For the May Day holiday, it was only about 100 RMB more than the usual price, which is very reasonable. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied! 👍

This is one of my favorite B&Bs I've stayed at recently. The overall design and style are exquisite, and the amenities are high-quality. We chose a room with a 270-degree mountain view, surrounded on three sides by mountains and lush greenery, which really made us feel good. The room's name, ”Zuowang,” reflects the thoughtful design. For dinner, we chose the seafood hot pot, which is fresh and plentiful. Reservations are possible in advance, and the B&B's host is incredibly attentive. There's also a coffee shop nearby, so you can enjoy a morning Americano before a stroll. If you're looking for mountain hiking, you can drive to the scenic area, which is very close to the B&B. All in all, it was a truly enjoyable weekend trip to the mountains.

The hotel is located near Yangkou Beach. At the entrance of Yangkou Scenic Area, you can report to the mountain. The service is very good. We also suggested a few times to take the Huanhai Highway. We walked at 5:00 pm according to the housekeeper. We really saw the sunset on the sea and saw the sea on the left. On the right is the most beautiful road around the sea on the cliffs; thank you so much! The decoration of the hotel is also very design, tall decoration, brand toiletries, see the boss's intentions. A hotel full of design.

The resort offers a stunning view and beautiful natural surroundings. However, there were a few challenges, especially for international travelers. Pre-arrival information was limited, and important details like the need to register vehicles in advance to enter the scenic area were not clearly stated on the website. I only learned about this by messaging the hotel via WeChat, which may not be accessible to all foreign guests. While the location was excellent, room maintenance could be improved for the price. The pool tub was not well maintained. As the resort is set in nature, it’s also worth noting that insects may be present in the room or bed. Overall, a scenic stay, but more proactive communication and better upkeep would enhance the experience, particularly for foreign visitors.

Despite the great location, the hotel has not been maintained and many things are looking a bit worse for wear. Our room wasn’t properly cleaned during our stay and only after I complained to management was it thoroughly cleaned. They towels and bedding have seen better days. The amenities does not look anything like the pictures. It all needs serious renovations. The billiard room as featured was non-existent and the gym is only 3 machines which doesn’t even include a treadmill. Staff members were very helpful, kind and accommodating, but that doesn’t make up for the lack of maintenance. We were very happy that the beer festival was on the premises and enjoyed the music and food. Views from the room is breathtaking.
