TthousandmilesI recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in Qingdao, and there are some noteworthy aspects to share.
First and foremost, the receptionist displayed exceptional customer service. Our early morning arrival was met with a warm welcome and an unexpected early check-in. This considerate gesture allowed us to freshen up and kick-start our adventure, setting a positive tone for our stay.
During our visit, there was a minor hiccup with housekeeping - a misplaced pair of Nike Air Max shoes. Thankfully, the vigilant receptionist swiftly resolved the issue, locating and returning the missing item promptly. To make amends for the inconvenience, they went the extra mile, offering a small gift and complimentary breakfast coupons as a gesture of goodwill. Such attentiveness to guest needs is truly commendable.
While we chose to explore authentic local cuisine during our trip, bypassing hotel dining, I cannot provide feedback on the food quality or variety.
In terms of location, this hotel scores points for convenience. Taxis are readily available, and it took us just 30 minutes to reach the stunning Laoshan Mountain, a must-visit destination. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to a bustling night market right across the street adds to its appeal.
However, there's room for improvement, notably in the cleanliness department. The bathrooms, in particular, left much to be desired, with an unpleasant odour lingering during our stay. Broken equipment, such as the wardrobe, was also in need of repair. Furthermore, the electric kettle was not up to our cleanliness standards, discouraging its use.
In summary, this hotel offers excellent customer service, convenient access to transportation and local attractions, and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction. However, attention to cleanliness and maintenance, especially in the bathrooms, is an area that could use some enhancement.

Its location is prime, right in the heart of Taitung Walking Street, with easy access to Zier Street, the snack street, and Taitung Night Market – perfect for evening strolls. Despite being in a bustling commercial area, the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a quiet night's sleep without any disturbance. The room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding, and the bathroom's wet/dry separation was well-designed. The front desk service was warm and attentive, making the entire check-in to check-out process efficient and thoughtful. The hotel is conveniently located near Taitung Station on Metro Lines 1 and 2, making travel to various attractions incredibly easy. With restaurants and convenience stores all around, the amenities are comprehensive. It offers great value for money and is an ideal choice for anyone visiting Qingdao!

AAnonymous UserFirst off, the location is excellent, right across from City Hall and directly facing May Fourth Square.
Secondly, on the way from the front desk to the elevator, there are two sets of stairs. One has a ramp, which is convenient for luggage, but the other is just stairs, meaning you have to carry your bags. Stepping out of the elevator into the hallway leading to our room, there was a strong smell of smoke and the carpet was visibly dirty. Once inside the room, we found a hair on the toilet seat and another under the rim of the drinking glass. There was also a torn corner of a small wrapper under the curtain. In one of the corners on the way from the elevator to the room, there was a PV mat placed by the greenery, and it hadn't been moved for at least three days of our three-night stay.
Thirdly, the room only had standard two and three-pin power outlets, with no USB charging ports, which are so commonly found these days. In the shower, there was only a tiny shelf for toiletries, but it was far too small, and everything kept falling off. Another thing that puzzled me was that an emergency pull cord system was installed, but the cord itself was missing. Why bother installing it then?
Finally, the most appalling thing was that last night, past 11 PM, a jackhammer started, along with hammering, sounding like it was right above our heads. We tried calling the front desk first, but the line was constantly busy. Luckily, the hotel's WeChat corporate account, which we had previously added, was still responsive. They coordinated a solution, and the noise stopped in about half an hour, which was quite efficient. But then, to make matters worse, this morning, between 8 and 9 AM, the jackhammer started up again. While they did send a gift package as compensation, dealing with this kind of situation during a hotel stay is truly infuriating!

Llzq1988The environment is excellent. The beach is just a few hundred meters away. You can walk along the beach to Wheat Island or some other scenic spot. As a hotel that was originally a sanatorium, the environment in the hospital is super good, with flowers and turtledoves chirping in the morning. The Garden Hotel lives up to its reputation. There is a refrigerator in the room, and it is so cool to freeze your own drinks and beer!

WWeinixiaotuMy expectations for school accommodation are too high. The room is quite spacious. The double bed made up of two single beds is very large. However, the bathroom is small and unreasonably designed. There is no place to hang towels. You have to close the door and open the sink after taking a shower. The cupboard door below is used to store a change of clothes and towels, and it is not convenient to store things on the sink. The toilet seat was installed out of place and would slide when sitting. Then I saw splash spots on the tiled wall behind the door, and there were small dried fish in the corner next to the trash can on the floor. I was convinced that the food sauce on the wall was probably food and I felt better. The sound insulation is not very good either. At 5 o'clock in the morning, there are workers shoveling sand and gravel downstairs outside the window. You can hear it very clearly on the second floor. In addition, the hotel cannot use wifi. It is said that the signal is not good, so there is no need to tell the password. Compared with the weekend prices of most hotels in Qingdao, there is no price increase here. Maybe this condition matches the price.

GGuest UserStaying on a high floor, the view is superb, there is a night light show, the hygiene is excellent, there is plenty of hot water, a comfortable mattress, plenty of drinking water, tea brewing, a huge curtain, theater sound system, breakfast included, and convenient eating out. There is a Golden Lion Square, Jinding Square, and Shilaoren Beach. You can play in the water during the day and go hiking.... Next time I come to Qingdao, I will arrange to stay for more days. Staying here will never disappoint you. Great!

Ttlwld****The hotel's location is excellent, right outside Fushan subway station. Downstairs, there's a Quick Convenience Store, Lanzhou Lamian, and delicious xiaolongbao. Across the street, you'll find McDonald's, KFC, Carrefour, and Ginza, with a bus stop right outside. The staff are very enthusiastic. However, upon entering the hotel, from the elevators to the floors, you can immediately tell the decor is dated, feeling like something from the 90s, and there's a strange smell. I'm not sure why this hotel always pops up first when I search for hotels near May Fourth Square on Ctrip. I initially booked a special-offer corridor window room, and when I arrived, the staff suggested I see the room first. It was tiny, noisy, and didn't match the pictures, so my child refused to stay there. We ended up paying an extra 150 per night on the spot to upgrade to a street-facing parent-child room with a window, across from China Merchants Bank. This room had a sofa and was much larger, with a spacious bathroom. The exhaust fan wasn't working well, and there was a constant smoky smell.

There is a bathroom on the upper and lower floors of the duplex attic. There is no need to queue up to shower and wash up. It is very convenient.
