"The B&B boasts an excellent location right within the Changping Valley scenic area. The rooms and the restaurant directly face all four peaks of Siguniang Mountain, with the 'Little Sister Peak' (Yaomei Peak) being particularly prominent. We were incredibly lucky to witness snow-capped mountains, a starry sky, and even a glimpse of the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' (Rizhao Jinshan). The B&B rooms are well-equipped, featuring underfloor heating, oxygen generators, and humidifiers. The underfloor heating was constantly on, ensuring the room was warm the moment we stepped in. The decor was cozy, and each room had a private courtyard, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Although I didn't dare use the bathtub at this altitude, it seemed to be of high quality and very clean. A comprehensive set of good quality disposable toiletries was provided, along with complimentary snacks, beverages, and fruits. The B&B offers three meals a day. Breakfast was rich and varied; both the rice noodles and regular noodles were delicious. The Sichuan fermented tofu with plain congee was particularly excellent. On our second day, when we visited Haizigou where there are no dining options, they even packed us a simple lunch for free. The freshly ground coffee at breakfast was also a nice touch. The ******* hot pot for dinner was quite good and warmed us up. They also offered simple Chinese dishes and pizza. What truly stood out was the service – incredibly thoughtful and responsive. All our requests were met. They provided car pick-up and drop-off to designated locations, saving us the worry of driving on mountain roads ourselves, which was a huge plus for female drivers. They actively helped with luggage, bringing it directly to our room. On the day we checked in, we had first traveled from Jiaju to Shuangqiao Valley, arriving at the B&B quite late. We had pre-ordered dinner, and upon arrival, feeling ravenous, the kind lady at the front desk thoughtfully suggested we eat first and even offered us glucose water to prevent altitude sickness. They were always ready to answer any questions about sightseeing and transportation, offering helpful tips. Upon departure, they gave us small gifts and proactively asked for suggestions for improvement, humbly accepting feedback on the tastes of friends from different regions. Overall, the experience was fantastic."

"I was traveling alone to Mount Siguniang for a race and deliberated for a long time between this guesthouse and a Quanji hotel. I ultimately chose the guesthouse because I wasn't sure how I'd react to the altitude and hoped for better care if I experienced altitude sickness. I'm so grateful to the kind owners! While the guesthouse doesn't serve meals, they made me some of their homemade wontons when it was raining. The owner also drove me everywhere I needed to go. The room came equipped with an oxygen concentrator, and the view from the window was absolutely stunning. All of this contributed to a fantastic overall experience for my trip. Highly recommended!"

"What started as an accidental booking turned into a wonderful surprise! The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service. The food, from breakfast to dinner and even the coffee, was superb! The owner also patiently offered itinerary suggestions and helped arrange private car services to attractions and the bus station. A huge thank you to the owner and staff for their 100% perfect service 💯. You can truly feel the owner's passion for life, which is evident in every corner of the inn. "Highly recommended! The hotel is in a fantastic location near Changping Valley, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and the food street within walking distance. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated in a Japanese style, and very comfortable. We especially loved the private hot spring, which was a wonderful way to unwind after exploring the area. The hotel also provides complimentary transportation to Shuangqiaogou and other nearby attractions, making travel very convenient. The free breakfast was delicious as well. Although there is no air conditioning and it felt a little warm for us as Malaysians, everything else was excellent. The price is slightly higher than average, but the overall experience made it absolutely worth it."

"I love the staff’s cheerful and always been helpful. I forgot her name but she really help us from the beginning to the end of our stay. There is no didi available for me to book during my stay she is being helpful by coming to pick me after the trip in the mountain, drop me to bus station…letting know which food is not halal. Love this place and gonna repeat again. There is breakfast but for muslim just eat the corn, egg or just ask the staff. The staff also arrange horse riding for me. No deposit needed. Easy to check in. Toilet very clean. The bidet technology just waw. Great experience ❤️"

"Overall This was an absolutely stunning stay — one of the best I've experienced, and it truly blew us away. We had a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The resort is run by a warm couple and a team of locals who were wonderfully attentive and helpful, arranging our transportation from Chengdu to their doorstep and back. The food was exceptional — wholesome, nourishing and deeply local. The dinner hotpot hit the spot on a cold night, and breakfast was healthy and energising — exactly what you need before a long day of hiking. The room itself was spectacular; waking up to pine trees dusted with snow and a clear mountain view was something else. On a clear night, you could stargaze from the balcony and melt into the rocking chair. Simply blissful and a good escape from the city life. Highly recommend NPS 10. 🏨 Room — 10/10 Great layout, comfortable bed, a warm toilet seat on a cold morning, spacious, and most importantly — a stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, having opened in 2025 according to the owners. 🧹 Cleanliness — 10/10 Spotless throughout. All common areas were new and well kept. 👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 10/10 The couple who run the place are genuinely lovely — always on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Responsive over WeChat to help coordinate logistics ahead of the trip, and they'll drop you at the entrance of the main hiking sites. Other staff were equally helpful. The primary language is Chinese, but they are patient and a translation app works perfectly fine. 📍 Location — 9/10 A 10-minute drive from both Changping and Shuangqiao valleys. Not much in the immediate surroundings — quaint little farms, grazing cows, and steep hills that will test anyone not yet acclimatised. 🍽️ Food & Drink — 9/10 The hotpot on both nights was incredibly nourishing and full of flavour, featuring a variety of local wild vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a stir-fry menu with a solid selection of local dishes, though we stuck to the hotpot both evenings. 🌅 View/Scenery — 11/10 Snowcapped peaks and beautiful pine forests as far as the eye can see (visited in April). I could have sat and stared out the window all day. 🏃 Activities & Surroundings — 10/10 The mountains and hiking trails are the main draw here — and honestly, the only activity you'll ever need. Shuangqiao is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend a whole day there if you like to hike(instead of just taking the bus). Changping is more for hikers, no bus service with a different charm, I love it more cause it was less touristy. The immediate area is quiet — everything you need is within the hotel itself. Stock up on essentials in the city, or check with staff ahead of time if there's anything specific you need. It's a hillside town, four hours from Chengdu."

The room design is very stylish, clean, and tidy, with an absolutely stunning view – we could admire the snow-capped mountains right from our bed, making for a very comfortable stay. The owner's service was incredibly warm and thoughtful; not only did they provide convenient transfers to and from the scenic area, but they also proactively helped us contact and book a vehicle back to Chengdu, which saved us a lot of hassle during our trip. Any needs we had during our stay were promptly addressed, making us feel right at home. Both the environment, facilities, and service were impeccable. We highly recommend staying here when visiting Siguniang Mountain, and we will definitely be back!"

"Staying at this guesthouse in Siguniang Mountain was an absolute hit, an incredibly satisfying experience! Location and Ambiance: The guesthouse, 'Banyin Yunqi Mountain Lodge', boasts an amazing location, truly making you feel like you're 'living in the mountains'. The overall environment is incredibly quiet and comfortable, with excellent soundproofing, ensuring a deep sleep at night. The room facilities are new, and everything was spotlessly clean. Dining Experience: I have to give a special shout-out to their ******* hotpot! The ingredients were super fresh, and the yak meat was firm and not at all tough. The broth was rich and delicious – finding such an authentic and warming meal in a high-altitude area was pure bliss! Service and Value: The owner and staff were incredibly enthusiastic. They not only helped with luggage but also offered many great sightseeing tips. All in all, considering the environment, service, and dining, the value for money is exceptional. It's definitely a hidden gem not to be missed! I'll choose to stay here again next time I visit Siguniang Mountain!"

"An absolutely fantastic stay! I was extremely satisfied with everything, from the hotel's design and in-room amenities to the window views and the restaurant. **Ambiance:** 1. The drive from Siguniangshan Town wasn't easy, with many winding roads and single-lane sections prone to traffic jams. However, staying deeper in the valley is unavoidable for better scenery. Even from a distance, this hotel's design looked sophisticated and far superior to other guesthouses around it. 2. The restaurant design is also superb, and the dinner atmosphere was wonderful. Warm lighting paired with wooden furniture, and some jazz music playing – if I wasn't worried about altitude sickness, I'd have definitely enjoyed a glass of red wine. **Cleanliness:** Very clean. **Facilities:** The in-room amenities are all from high-quality brands. The toilet is a smart Philips model with heated seats. There's also underfloor heating, a humidifier, and an oxygen concentrator. The bedside chair is very comfortable. The rooftop terrace offers direct views of Siguniang Mountain, so if you want to catch the sunrise, you don't have to go far, which is very convenient. **Service:** Responses were very prompt and excellent."
