This was an absolutely stunning stay — one of the best I've experienced, and it truly blew us away. We had a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The resort is run by a warm couple and a team of locals who were wonderfully attentive and helpful, arranging our transportation from Chengdu to their doorstep and back.
The food was exceptional — wholesome, nourishing and deeply local. The dinner hotpot hit the spot on a cold night, and breakfast was healthy and energising — exactly what you need before a long day of hiking. The room itself was spectacular; waking up to pine trees dusted with snow and a clear mountain view was something else. On a clear night, you could stargaze from the balcony and melt into the rocking chair. Simply blissful and a good escape from the city life. Highly recommend NPS 10.

Great layout, comfortable bed, a warm toilet seat on a cold morning, spacious, and most importantly — a stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, having opened in 2025 according to the owners.

Spotless throughout. All common areas were new and well kept.

The couple who run the place are genuinely lovely — always on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Responsive over WeChat to help coordinate logistics ahead of the trip, and they'll drop you at the entrance of the main hiking sites. Other staff were equally helpful. The primary language is Chinese, but they are patient and a translation app works perfectly fine.

A 10-minute drive from both Changping and Shuangqiao valleys. Not much in the immediate surroundings — quaint little farms, grazing cows, and steep hills that will test anyone not yet acclimatised.
🍽️ Food & Drink — 9/10
The hotpot on both nights was incredibly nourishing and full of flavour, featuring a variety of local wild vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a stir-fry menu with a solid selection of local dishes, though we stuck to the hotpot both evenings.
🌅 View/Scenery — 11/10
Snowcapped peaks and beautiful pine forests as far as the eye can see (visited in April). I could have sat and stared out the window all day.
🏃 Activities & Surroundings — 10/10
The mountains and hiking trails are the main draw here — and honestly, the only activity you'll ever need. Shuangqiao is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend a whole day there if you like to hike(instead of just taking the bus). Changping is more for hikers, no bus service with a different charm, I love it more cause it was less touristy.
The immediate area is quiet — everything you need is within the hotel itself. Stock up on essentials in the city, or check with staff ahead of time if there's anything specific you need. It's a hillside town, four hours from Chengdu.

KKumoriyunshangWe chose this hotel for the Chinese New Year in 2026, primarily for convenient access to Changping Valley for hiking and to enjoy the full panoramic view of Siguniang Mountain right from our room's floor-to-ceiling window. The owner was very hospitable, offering complimentary round-trip shuttle service to Changping Valley scenic area. For Shuangqiao Valley, the hotel can also arrange car-sharing. The New Year's Eve dinner, an RMB 188 yak hotpot set, was delicious. We were incredibly lucky to witness the stunning 'Golden Mountain' sunrise over Siguniang Mountain from the hotel's rooftop!

GGuest UserBooked a family room for our trip with the little one, and the view of Mount Siguniang is absolutely stunning! The room was spotless, and there was plenty of hot water. The oxygen supply by the bed really helped, and my daughter slept great. All the staff at the guesthouse were incredibly warm and friendly. We also had hotpot for dinner at the guesthouse, and it was delicious. We'll definitely be back if we get the chance!

JJ SuriI had an absolutely wonderful stay at Siguniangshan Xingshan Yueying B&B. The first thing that strikes you is the incredible view ,waking up to the majestic sight of the Four Sisters Mountain right from my window was a dream come true.
The service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. They really make you feel at home.
Lastly, you cannot leave without trying their Yak Hotpot. It was hands down one of the most delicious meals I’ve had perfectly seasoned and so comforting in the chilly mountain air. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

GGuest UserI stayed at this resort B&B in Siguniang Mountain, Western Sichuan, and was really impressed. The room design was top-notch, with 24-hour hot water, underfloor heating throughout, a plateau oxygen generator, humidifier, premium toiletries, and a Dyson hairdryer. The hotel's ******* restaurant was incredibly photogenic, offering a variety of hot pots, authentic ******* dishes, yak-themed meals, and BBQ. The local ingredients were fresh, delicious, and generously portioned.
The owner built the guest room buildings, coffee bar, and reception/restaurant areas around several century-old cherry trees. The outdoor public area is huge, offering unobstructed 270-degree views of Siguniang Mountain and Balang Snow Mountain. After dinner, gathering around the fire pit in the coffee bar with other guests, singing, chatting, and enjoying a tipsy glow was incredibly cozy.
The 24-hour butler service was exceptionally warm and helpful, assisting with luggage throughout and responding quickly to all requests. I'll definitely choose this place again next time.

GGuest UserThe room was very clean and well-lit, and it was tidied up perfectly. The surroundings are great, with many small shops and mini-marts nearby, making it convenient for buying things. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and proactively asked about my well-being, even offering to help with my luggage. For those who enjoy hiking, this is a great place to stay as it's very close to Changpinggou, just a few minutes' walk to the park entrance. I picked this hotel randomly and it definitely didn't disappoint; it's really good!

GGuest UserNext time I visit, I'm definitely staying here again! The hotel's location is fantastic, very convenient for parking, and just 200 meters from the scenic area entrance. The lobby is simple yet grand, and the rooms are bright, airy, clean, and free of any strange odors. The mattress firmness was just right, ensuring a great night's sleep. There's plenty of hot water with strong pressure, and even oxygen supply for the high altitude, which is a great bonus. The staff are polite, friendly, and quick to respond; they were always ready to help with luggage when I came and went. Breakfast offered a wide variety and tasted good. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, and it offers great value for money. It's my top choice for business trips and travel. The room layout is spacious and bright, with a minimalist yet high-end design and thoughtful details. The linens were soft and skin-friendly, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and it was quiet and peaceful. The meticulous service truly enhanced my stay. This is a quality hotel worth returning to.

The hotel environment is excellent, the room is large, and the diffuse oxygen supply in the room is very good. In addition to the ineffective temperature control of the floor heating, the room temperature is out of control to 30℃, and the waiter needs to be called to debug the outdoor unit. In addition to the insufficient breakfast supply, the rice noodles and milk are not available if you go late (8:30). In addition to the unstable water pressure of the hot water in the room, the shower is hot and cold.
