"After extensive research for my trip to Chengdu, I finally settled on Chengdu Manyou Gaokong Hotel, and it turned out to be the most delightful choice of my entire journey. The experience far exceeded my expectations, so I absolutely have to write a detailed review to recommend it to all my friends visiting Chengdu! The location is truly impeccable, situated in the heart of Jinjiang District's Jiayezhantian. It's within walking distance of Tianfu Square, Chunxi Road, and Taikoo Li commercial district. Downstairs, you'll find an abundance of hot pot restaurants, chuan'r (skewers), and specialty snacks. You won't need a taxi to go shopping, visit the IFS panda, or explore popular shops. Subway access is also incredibly convenient, making it extremely hassle-free for both tourists and those on a short-term stay. The surrounding area has complete living amenities, including convenience stores and supermarkets – if you crave a late-night snack, you can find it downstairs. What's most stunning is the unparalleled high-altitude 'cloud view.' The entire room features panoramic, unobstructed floor-to-ceiling windows, and I was instantly awestruck the moment I opened the door. During the day, sunlight floods the entire room, offering a bird's-eye view of Chengdu's old city streets, exuding a strong sense of local life. Sitting quietly by the window, sipping coffee and daydreaming, all travel fatigue instantly vanished. In the evening, the sunset dyes the sky a gentle orange-red, creating absolutely beautiful layers of light and shadow. As night falls, the city lights gradually illuminate, and the brilliant cityscape fills the entire glass, allowing you to immerse yourself in Chengdu's romantic night view right from your bed. The ambiance is absolutely captivating; there's no need to jostle for space at an observation deck. Photos taken casually in the room look high-end, perfect for direct posting without editing, and garnered countless likes on my social media. The room is spacious and open, with a gentle, minimalist, light-luxury decor. The color scheme is soft and pleasing, and the soft furnishings hide thoughtful design details everywhere, avoiding any cheap, cluttered feel and exuding quality. The entire room is equipped with a smart control system, allowing one-touch operation of curtains, lighting, and air conditioning – a perfect experience for the lazy. The bedding quality is excellent, the mattress is moderately firm, and the down pillows are fluffy and soft. Coupled with the hotel's superb soundproofing, which blocks out the street noise downstairs, even light sleepers can enjoy a full night's rest and wake up feeling refreshed. The bathroom has a dry-wet separation, with stable hot water supply and ample water pressure. The toiletries are clean and effective. There's also a washer-dryer combo, perfect for cleaning and drying clothes during long trips, perfectly solving any laundry woes. The large projection screen offers clear picture quality, making it a joy to watch movies in the room at night, with the night view outside the window adding to the cozy solitary moments. I couldn't find a single flaw in the cleanliness. The housekeeping was meticulous and thorough; there was no dust or water stains on the floors, windowsills, or bathroom corners. Bedding and towels were changed for each new guest, and there was no unpleasant odor upon entering the room. It was clean and refreshing, making for a reassuring stay. The facilities are comprehensive; public areas include a fitness center and a mahjong room, satisfying all leisure and relaxation needs. Service was an absolute bonus. The front desk staff were gentle and polite, making check-in and check-out efficient and quick, with no long queues. They proactively and thoughtfully provided information on nearby attractions and local food recommendations. There's 24-hour online support, and any requests to the butler were handled quickly, with timely delivery of items and replenishment of supplies. The entire process was warm and patient, never perfunctory, making the stay comfortable and secure. Whether it's for a romantic getaway, a trip with girlfriends, solo travel, or a short business trip, this Manyou Gaokong Hotel is perfectly suited. The views, environment, service, and value for money are all exceptional. I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Chengdu, and I sincerely recommend it to everyone!"

"Really enjoyed our stay in the top floor suite with an amazing view overlooking Taikoo Li and the skyline. The location is perfect for a short visit, with Taikoo Li just outside, making it very easy to walk around. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, responding to our requests and questions instantly, they even helped us fill up the bathtub/pool while we were out so it was ready upon our return! Also loved the projector screen to watch tv. Many amenities like snacks, towels, robes, slippers were also provided. Overall, I highly recommend and would definitely return!"

"The service apartment located next to Taiguli and few minutes walking distance to the IFS / airport shuttle bus. The room is spacious and clean, thanks for upgrade and we really enjoy the view and quiet environment. There are three lifts and during peak hours required few minutes waiting time."

It's also very conveniently located – a 10-minute bike ride to Chunxi Road, and there's a small alley across the street where you can easily grab breakfast in the morning."

"Overall I enjoyed my stay. The staff was very responsive, they provided cooking utensils on request as well. I have to say the room was cleaned very superficially, there was dust under the bed, inside kitchen cabinets and in the corners, facades of furnitures were dirty as well as walls in the corridor, in some places the wallpaper was coming off. Since I was staying longer time I actually cleaned things that bothered me myself. Washing machine was not always washing properly, simple stains wouldn’t come off. Maximum temperature for washing clothes was 40. Even so, the room was practical, location was very convenient, all the shops and restaurants around. Metro station 8 minutes walk. Nice cityscape view. I would consider coming back."

"I really liked the room because it had a nice design and minimalistic outlook, at the 27th floor of a high building so you could enjoy a wonderful sunset, while having a beer, all from the comfort of your bed. The area was full of food stalls, bakeries, noodles and all kinds of hot pot shops, small markets and shopping malls, making it extremely handy to find anything at anytime, all while being 5 minutes walking from the metro station. Would definitely recommend and stay again during my next visit in Chengdu!"
