Hot Springs Hotels in Chengdu

Me and my son are coming to this hotel for the 4th time since last August. It is my place of Harmony and Healing. Every corner of the hotel brings me joy, it is a pure art and satisfaction to all senses. They have 8pm sound healing meditation every day, and it relaxes me on the deepest level. They cook fresh dinner every day and I love Kung pao chicken the most. They offer variety of teas and I love it too. I stayed in each room category and all of them are spotless, amazing. All rooms have private onsen on the balcony. It is extremely satisfying to have a hot bath regardless of the time of the year. The hotel is getting very popular so make sure to book in advance. I brought my family here for a hot spring getaway, and it was a really great experience. The hotel proactively contacted me a day in advance and arranged for a butler. We discussed all our needs beforehand, so checking in upon arrival was seamless. The hotel's garden environment is quiet and comfortable, the room was clean, and the bedding was soft. The private hot spring in the courtyard had a wonderful ambiance, and soaking in the radon spring was very stress-relieving. The butler was very responsive, helping us book package contents and introducing us to the hotel facilities. Breakfast offered both Western and Chinese options, and the taste was decent. There were many public hot spring pools, and it wasn't too crowded. It's suitable for a short, relaxing vacation, and overall, I'm satisfied.

This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in years across several countries. I have nothing but praise for the staff of Yueshang Qingxiang, at every step of the way they were accommodating and kind. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The area is a perfect spot if you want to have a relaxing holiday and do some sightseeing of Mt. Qingcheng and Dujiangyang. The location is perfect, right near the local train station. The hotel restaurant is fantastic and has great options. I will absolutely return one day and I cannot wait for that day, I wish I could have stayed an extra week. :)

From the moment we drove in, the hotel exuded an elegant vibe, with slender bamboo lining the pathway. Surrounded by lush green mountains, the hotel felt wonderfully cool. The observation decks (yes, more than one!) were excellent, and I particularly loved the hammocks. The entire hotel area was tastefully decorated and immaculately maintained, with no overly dense greenery. They even provided bed rails, which was a huge plus for me traveling with a child, and the front desk offered crafts for kids. The only minor drawback was that our room's air conditioner would drip when on, but I wasn't too bothered by it. Overall, considering the price and the hotel's ambiance, I give it full marks. I'm already planning a return visit when I have the chance!

Booked this hotel for a trip with several families of friends, primarily for the hot springs, but we got an unexpected surprise! The hotel's decor is a lovely white and soft yellow palette with excellent lighting – grand yet stylish, a refreshing change from the usual dim tones. The room was surprisingly spacious and very clean. It felt like all the amenities were thoughtfully chosen and prepared, quite different from hotels I've stayed in before. I absolutely loved the pillows and shampoo! Couldn't take the pillows, but I did manage to get two small bottles of shampoo from the housekeeping staff before check-out 😄😂. You can see misty mountains across from the hotel, so you can enjoy the hot springs with a mountain view. The kids spent the entire afternoon at the outdoor pool, and the hotel is conveniently located right next to the rafting visitor center. The young lady at check-in thoughtfully recommended the beef noodle soup for breakfast, and it was indeed delicious. After our meal, someone politely asked for our feedback and suggestions, which truly showed how attentive and considerate they are. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely be back next time. I don't usually write such long reviews!

The hotel is right in the heart of Guanxian Ancient City, less than a 5-minute walk from popular photo spots like Nanqiao and Chenghuang Temple, and surrounded by plenty of dining options. The room was spacious and well-designed, with a separate shower and toilet. I particularly loved their bedding – it was incredibly comfortable, a pleasant surprise! The housekeeping lady was very friendly and polite, always ready to answer any questions. The hotel also offers self-service laundry, which is a thoughtful touch for some guests. Finally, I have to mention that while the overall service was satisfactory, when I requested a late check-out for the next day (which was explicitly allowed by my Trip.com order), the front desk staff seemed quite reluctant. I had seen similar comments before and didn't expect to experience it myself.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable – really excellent. The surrounding area is also very convenient. I definitely recommend this hotel. The staff (especially the lady at the front) were incredibly nice and enthusiastic. Plus, they offer free pick-up and drop-off, which is a great bonus!

Facilities: The hotel and room facilities are quite old, and the walls are severely waterlogged due to years of rain. Cleanliness: The hotel is mediocre, with some mosquitoes and insects hanging around corners, and the bedding has a damp smell. Environment: Sitting on the balcony or in the lobby bar, you can see the lush mountains in the distance. The air is especially fresh after the rain, and the mist is shrouded in clouds, creating a very picturesque atmosphere. Service: The hotel staff will do their best to provide services upon request, so it's generally acceptable.

Went during a low season. The hotel was virtually empty except for us, but the staff remained professional. The rooms were a slight letdown on a few points - BUT overall it was extremely enjoyable and downright luxurious in other areas. Overall, a definite recommend. We had a great stay and a great time. Amazing - it's a working tea farm. We woke early to pluck tea leaves for the experience (free but worth 68 yuan) and if you collect enough you can take it to the tea master to then experience frying the tea in a wok to turn the fresh leaves into dry green tea. The tea sachets in the rooms are made by the hotel themselves and taste great. More free experiences are included with the stay, including tea brewing classes and wearing hanfu. I thought it to be incredibly value for money. The private onsen is great and came with a homemade herbal pouch to throw in for a medicinal bath. The rooms are spacious with an excellent view - and I MUST commend the incredible number of light switches which let you have any combination of light ambience. Minor letdowns - mosquitoes will come to you at the alfresco area during mealtimes, I would sit indoors next time. We also had to run the shower for a long while before hot water could come out. The charging sockets are a little iffy with lots of dust in the sockets and some outlets might not be working depending on your luck. The standard sockets mostly work but USB sockets might not. The smart W/C is also slightly malfunctioning but largely works as intended.

We were on a self-driving trip from Chongqing to Dujiangyan and the Panda Valley on October 6th and 7th. We arrived at the front desk at around 2 PM on the 6th. There were only two female staff members on duty, but the receptionist who helped us was extremely nice, providing wonderful service and great assistance that really made my day 😊 Thumbs up to both of them! 👍👍 The room type recommended by the staff member was amazing, and the view from the room was superb (see attached photos taken from the hotel room during the day and at night). As for the breakfast experience, I'm not sure because we chose a room-only rate. The hotel location is fantastic—just 150 to 300 meters away from the must-visit local attractions, including the Dujiangyan Scenic Area, the ”Blue Tears” night view of South Bridge, and the giant pandas 🐼.
