ayhan17I travel a lot for work, so I know good hospitality when I see it—and this place exceeded every expectation. The location, the cleanliness, the food—all fantastic. But the real MVP of our stay was Adam, the manager.
We had an early flight and arrived exhausted at 9 AM, way before check-in. Adam personally fast-tracked our room, arranged for early breakfast, and even sent up a welcome platter with a handwritten note. He checked in with us daily to make sure everything was perfect, but never in a pushy way—just genuine, warm service.
The little touches stood out:
· Turndown service with chocolates
· Personalized restaurant recommendations (he booked us a table at a hidden gem)
· A seamless checkout with zero surprises on the bill
Adam runs this hotel like a five-star cruise ship—smooth, attentive, and always one step ahead. If you're on the fence, book it. You won't regret it.

I have planned to go to Shouzhuo several times in the past few years, but I missed it because of things. This time the Dragon Boat Festival finally happened. Shouzhuo is located deep in the Bamboo Sea. The roads are easy to walk and the transportation is very convenient, but you have to be careful when you miss the bus sometimes. Once you enter the Bamboo Sea, your mood will become very good, and the temperature is a few degrees lower than in the city. There is no need to turn on the air conditioning in the room, just turn on the fan and it will be cool. The inn has its own parking lot and charging stations. As soon as you enter the inn, you are attracted by the architecture and scenery. It is definitely a good place to relax and unwind. Every step is a view. The room was neat and clean and it was so comfortable. The service is excellent. Every staff member is very enthusiastic and will try their best to meet any request. Any words mentioned unintentionally will be taken seriously by them. In the afternoon, a food box was given for afternoon tea, and in the evening there was rice noodles and fermented glutinous rice as a midnight snack. The breakfast was a customized meal, which was rich and delicious. I made a reservation for dinner and chose a meal price of 200 per person. I must make a reservation one day in advance. It's delicious and the portions are so generous that several tables nearby said they couldn't finish it. There are various activities such as pot throwing and archery in the inn. There is also a rice dumpling making activity on the afternoon of Dragon Boat Festival. You can choose to cook dinner for dinner or take it home. In the afternoon, the staff took us out to go fishing for crabs. The staff brought small buckets and nets to accompany us all the time. Let’s go out to watch fireflies together at 9pm. There will be more fireflies in July and August. At night, you can catch a lot of crabs in the river ditch in front of the inn. With this kind of comfortable life, I plan to stay for a few more days during the summer vacation. The room is very big. The children sleep in the attic and we sleep below. The tatami is super big and suitable for reading and drinking tea. The room is equipped with air conditioners, fans, electric blankets and heaters. I thought the curtains would let light through, but I didn't expect them to be very suitable and I could have a good night's sleep. Eye masks and earplugs are also provided in the room, but of course they are not needed. Summer is here, so the inn can prepare more ice cubes or cold beverages and beers, suitable for everyone’s late-night snacks. All in all 100 points, see you in the summer!

AyoudetutoulaobaThe location is superb, within walking distance to Kuanzhai Alley and People's Park. The subway entrance is just 300 meters from the hotel, and Xi'an South Road, a street filled with Sichuan restaurants and hotpot places, is within 100 meters. The environment and facilities are top-notch; it's a quiet oasis amidst the bustling city with its own little haven, and parking is convenient. The staff are enthusiastic and responsive, the room facilities are smart, and the hygiene is impeccable. The breakfast offers a rich variety, and afternoon tea is complimentary. Highly recommended!

Zhushishunli5678The room was clean and tidy, with a pleasant fragrance. The breakfast offered a rich variety of options. It's conveniently located close to Kuanzhai Alley, making it easy to get around. The front desk lady was beautiful and had an excellent service attitude. When we left, she even gave us cute panda headbands and bottled water, which made the whole experience fantastic.

Guest UserThe first thing I would like to mention is the attentive and friendly staff: reception, at breakfast, room cleaning - everyone was kind, friendly and helpful in everything.
We got quick responses to our enquiries on Wechat - in the evening we asked about the use of appliances and a kind lady came and showed us how to use the washing machine and air conditioning.
The girl at reception (unfortunately I didn't remember the name, but it's a very nice girl with glasses) always answered any questions we had. Also, she even remembered our parcels from Taobao ordered to the hotel and when she saw us, she told us they had arrived. And then helped us unpack them. You could really feel the care in all the actions.
Next is a lovely big room with beautiful decor. The large round bed is cosy and soft and the bed linen is changed on request.
Good housekeeping. Every day we had towels changed and bottles of water replenished. In addition, we could always get extra water in the lobby. And noticing that we leave the room later, they did not disturb us early in the morning.
The room was quiet! Although there was one day when the tarmac was being laid at night outside with all the accompanying noise, but it really does not apply to the hotel.
The air conditioning and fridge worked perfectly. We were pleased with the presence of a mini washing machine (laundry detergent is available and replenished) and steamer in the room - such is not often met in hotels. The hairdryer had good sufficient power. Sockets are universal.
A bonus was a large mirror in the bathroom and a full-length mirror in the hall.
Also on one of the days we were unexpectedly brought a plate of fruit in the room, it was very nice!
The lift to the floors with hotel rooms is operated by guest cards, which guarantees more security.
To name things that could be improved, it is a bit dim lighting in the room. Also the tap in the bathroom sink was tight and seemed a little unreliable.
We had breakfast included - good, reasonably varied choice of food. The staff are friendly and keep a good eye on everything. They also remembered my preferences: I like to drink tea in the morning - and at one point they themselves came over and asked me if they could make me tea... so thoughtful!
There is also afternoon tea with desserts in the lobby.
Plus to the above, we like the location of the hotel - convenient, it's in an important central area with lots of shops, cafes, parks around, and metro stations close by.
The only thing is, if you're with multiple suitcases, consider that the path itself from the metro is nice but uneven and runs along knobbly tiles and crowded narrow sections.
Probably the best option with suitcases would be to take a taxi.
Our stay all week was excellent. This is a hotel we would love to return to. Thank you!

Guest UserWe stayed at their higher level 40 sqm suite paying HK$600/S$100 a night. There are many choices in Chengdu at this price point. The breakfast is acceptable for being included in the room price. PROs: The stunning view of the Anshun Bridge, the convenient location near Taikoo Li, lots of local food area. The bed we slept in was comfortable and aircon worked well, water pressure also good. The staff are very well trained to handle situations. CONs: The hotel is seriously showing its last renovation in 2019 age, the hotel shares other floors and same lifts with other commercial, residential tenants. See photos easiest to understand. I think this hotel is suitable for young travellers. We are a couple over 50.

The location is absolutely perfect, really close to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li. I booked two room types in total: a twin standard room and a family room. Perhaps due to the prime location, the twin room wasn't huge, but the family room was quite spacious and even had a small play area for kids. The breakfast spread was also very diverse. Plus, there are so many delicious snacks around Chunxi Road! I'd definitely choose this place again next time, highly recommended!

Let me share an incredibly satisfying stay! This hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the city's most vibrant area. You can easily walk to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, making everyday shopping and strolling incredibly convenient. The hotel is also very close to the subway, making getting around super easy, and it's not far from the high-speed rail station, so you don't have to worry about transportation at all. The orange juice offered while waiting upon arrival was particularly refreshing and a very thoughtful touch. The room's cleanliness was exceptionally detailed; the whole place was spotless, making for a very comfortable stay. Although the surrounding area is bustling and very lively with a lot of foot traffic, the room's soundproofing was excellent, making it incredibly quiet. The staff's service was wonderful, efficient, and attentive. Overall, the experience was perfect, making it an excellent choice for a stay in Chengdu!

YuI-IuYOverall, I was quite disappointed with my stay. The hotel’s location is very convenient, but there are quite a few areas where the service and facilities could be improved.
First of all, the front desk was seriously understaffed. During peak hours, there were only two staff members handling check-ins, resulting in very slow service and long waiting times. Unfortunately, the staff were also not particularly friendly or patient.
There was also a discrepancy between the room description and the actual room. When booking, the room description indicated that three double beds would be combined to form one large bed. However, in reality, only two double beds were pushed together to make one large bed.
We were a group of three, but only two sets of toiletries were provided in the room. I called the front desk to request an additional set and waited for about 30 minutes, but nothing was delivered. I called again and was told that a robot would deliver the items shortly. However, the delivery was incomplete — the towel and bottled water were missing.
After calling the front desk for the third time, I was told that they were very busy and that I would have to wait a long time. I explained that I needed to go out and could not wait for too long, but the staff simply asked me to come downstairs and pick up the items myself. For a hotel, I found this level of service quite disappointing.
Another issue is the elevator situation at night. There were often many people waiting for the elevators, as some guests were going to the 19th floor to enjoy the night view of Dujiangyan, while others were heading to the hot springs. The waiting time could be quite long.
Also, only a very limited number of rooms actually have a view of the “Blue Tears” phenomenon. Even at the restaurant on the 19th floor, there are only about three seats with a good view, and they are often occupied. It can be quite difficult to get one of those seats.
The hair dryer in the room was also very disappointing. The airflow was extremely weak and there was no cool-air setting, which is particularly inconvenient for women.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is definitely its location. It is very close to the train station and Yangtianwo Square, making it very convenient for transportation and sightseeing.
Overall, while the location is excellent, the service efficiency, front desk service, room description, and some of the facilities did not meet my expectations. If you value good service and a comfortable stay, I would recommend considering these issues carefully before booking.
