"Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was very disappointing and did not live up to the expectations created by the photos and description.
One of the main reasons we booked this place was the pool shown in the main pictures. However, this is quite misleading, as the pool is not actually available for guests to use. The small pool in the common area was also dirty and poorly maintained, making it completely unappealing.
The staff were not particularly welcoming or helpful during our stay. We did not feel looked after as guests, and interactions often felt unfriendly and dismissive.
We were also surprised to be charged an additional fee after using the washing machine. We accidentally ran a wash without fully understanding the procedure and ended up being charged €10, which felt excessive and unnecessary for such a minor issue.
The room itself was very cold and uncomfortable. On top of that, the windows were extremely dirty, which gave the entire space a neglected feeling and spoiled what could have been a nice view.
Overall, the property feels poorly maintained and does not match the impression presented online. Between the misleading pool photos, the lack of hospitality, the extra charges, and the uncomfortable room conditions, we did not enjoy our stay and would not recommend this hotel. We left feeling disappointed and feeling that the experience was not worth the money we paid."

GGuest UserWe had a fantastic stay at Elaine’s Service Apartment during our family trip to Chengdu. The first thing that stood out was the exceptional cleanliness of the apartment. Everything was spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully maintained, making us feel comfortable and at home from the moment we arrived. The apartment is also incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for the whole family to relax. The generous living space, comfortable furnishings, and homely atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring Chengdu and the surrounding areas.
A special mention goes to the cutest “hotel manager,” Jiaozi the cat! Jiaozi added so much charm to our stay and quickly became a favorite member of the household. Seeing this adorable furry manager around always brought a smile to our faces and made the apartment feel even more welcoming.
In fact, after returning from our trip to Jiuzhaigou, my mom kept saying she wanted to come back and stay at the apartment again because she loved it so much. That’s probably the highest compliment a place can receive!
Thank you to the wonderful hosts and, of course, Manager Jiaozi for making our stay so memorable. We highly recommend Elaine’s Service Apartment to anyone looking for a clean, spacious, comfortable, and heartwarming place to stay in Chengdu.

AAnonymous UserThe room is cozy! Toilet is clean and the shower pressure is strong. They provide alcohol wipe, ear plugs and even ensure that the room is sanitised (there’s a card beside the bed). You can still hear some noise from the corridor but the earplugs help. The hairdryer is from laifen. Location wise it’s just a short walk from exit F (stairs only at this exit though) of Chengdu Second People's Hospital Metro Station (line 4 & 3. It’s an interchange station so you get more options for your train travel which is a big plus). Walkable distance to chunxi road and there’s even 2 small supermarkets just 1-2 mins walk opposite the hotel. The washing machine and dryer works well and there’s laundry detergent provided too

AAnonymous UserFirst off, I have to commend Six Senses Chengdu on its excellent hardware facilities, environmental hygiene, and overall ambiance. It truly lives up to its reputation as a well-known resort hotel. The pathways wind through a serene landscape, and the rooms are comfortable and quiet – it’s genuinely a great place to relax and unwind.
However, the check-in experience was a slight letdown. One of the front desk staff members was quite cold and seemed impatient throughout the process, giving off an impression of disrespect towards the customer, almost as if she was reluctant to handle the formalities. What was even more baffling was that she only “remembered” to give us a detailed explanation of the hotel facilities after being prompted by another staff member nearby. For a luxury hotel, such a lapse in service detail is quite frankly below standard. I hope the hotel will invest more in staff training so that the front desk's 'coldness' doesn't dampen guests' 'warm' expectations for their vacation.

The 2 days of my booking i am not able to have my breakfast due to my day tour pickup time are too early, they provide us some simple take away breakfast, this is awesome, thumbs up! The only problem which i noticed is the toilet door stopper, i have kicked it few times, in my opinion, i think that door no need to have the stopper.

It's easy to walk to the Mansion Old Street, and the 'ding-ding' tram from the town square goes directly to Liu's Manor, so getting around is very convenient. The hotel's garden is lovely and well-maintained, featuring a 'naughty fort' (indoor play area), outdoor facilities, a swimming pool, and a small farm where you can feed sheep and rabbits. Kids absolutely love it. The rooms are spacious, though some of the facilities are a bit dated. The staff are all very friendly, providing attentive and warm service. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. This hotel is highly recommended for families traveling with children and seniors.

GGuest UserThe location on Wangping Street is super convenient! There are many cafes and bars along the river, and you can walk to IFS and Taikoo Li, but I opted for a Didi instead. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with a 24-hour laundry room and gym. They offer unlimited free boiled water, and there's even a robot for room service. Inside the room, there's a Xiao Du smart assistant, a smart bed (with adjustable height and massage modes), and a smart toilet. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly – I give 100 points to the ladies at counter #1 and #5 for their excellent service! I'll definitely be back here on my next trip to Chengdu. The only minor drawback might be that the bathroom and toilet are a bit small and lack hooks, which was a bit inconvenient 🥹

～～lianrongbao～This hotel is super convenient, right next to Exit C of Tonghuimen Station on Metro Line 2. It's just a 10-minute walk to Kuanzhai Alley, 15 minutes to People's Park, and 20 minutes to Tianfu Square. To get to Wuhou Shrine, you can take Line 2, transfer to Line 5 for four stops to Gaoshengqiao Station, and then it's a 10-minute walk from Exit J.
The room size is decent, and the decor has a light luxury feel. I really appreciate that the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. There's a vanity right by the entrance. The bedding is a bit soft, so I had to stack two pillows to sleep comfortably.
I stayed here for four days and three nights during my trip to Chengdu. The housekeeping staff replenished towels and mineral water daily, and the room was kept very clean. The front desk attendant was kind enough to upgrade my room and breakfast, and even gave me a small souvenir when I left. I'll definitely choose the Mercure Kuanzhai Alley Hotel again on my next visit to Chengdu.

KKgengEasy to find. You can walk from the east side of East Station through an underground passage directly to the hotel's elevator. There are also plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff were very warm and friendly.
Very satisfied. As soon as I opened the room door, I noticed the AC was on, and after taking a couple more steps, I could even see Chengdu East Station.
However, the facilities are a bit old; I feel the outlets and showerhead could use an upgrade.
Excellent value for money, highly recommend this place. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for an overnight layover in Chengdu.
