Guest UserThe hotel has its own dedicated elevators, and the breakfast is abundant and delicious. The room is very spacious and well-equipped, perfect for a family stay. Our butler, Nina, arranged for us to be on the 46th floor, which is the highest floor, and the high-altitude view is spectacular.

Guest UserAbsolutely thrilled! The price was great, and the location was super convenient! The whole hotel had a really 'Instagrammable' vibe. My friend and I were both extremely happy with our stay! It's about a 10-minute walk to IFS Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, and there are tons of amazing food options nearby. The breakfast was also delicious and so cute – loved it!

We booked a quad room, and the service was excellent! The only thing that could be improved is the hot water for the shower; it wasn't hot enough. Overall, we were very satisfied. A big thank you to the front desk staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, for their superb service.

Anonymous UserThe environment is truly amazing, no complaints there. Even though the decor is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. They offer two cleaning services daily. The turndown service was a bit rigid, though. We were two adults with a small child in a king-sized bed, no extra bed, so we asked for an additional single duvet. Every night, the double duvet was neatly turned down, and the single one folded up… clearly, one adult was sleeping with the child in the double bed, and the other adult was using the single duvet, right? It was a bit frustrating.
It's easy to get lost walking around, and you often need to call for a car. Sometimes, like during breakfast or check-out, it can be a little inconvenient. When we were leaving, we called for a car to pick up our luggage. We were on the second floor with no elevator, only stairs. We waited a long time, and then the butler said the person was downstairs. We waited a bit more, and my ride-sharing car to the high-speed rail station was almost here – I was so anxious! I rushed out of the room and saw the staff member leisurely strolling, looking at their phone, in no hurry at all… Ugh… I honestly wanted to yell at them. I told them I was in a hurry, but they still didn't speed up, muttering something about the butler giving them the wrong room number…
The butler service was good, though. When we went to the front section of Mount Qingcheng, she proactively offered to take us through the side entrance to the shuttle station for the scenic area, and also offered to pick us up there on our return. That was great. However, whenever I messaged her on WeChat to ask something, or to call a car, or open the side gate, she wouldn't reply after I'd sent the message. Just a simple 'received' would have put my mind at ease, right? But no… Every time, she'd rush me to call her instead… Sigh…
Regarding the service, you could say I'm nitpicking a bit, but for a high-end luxury place, it just felt like it was missing something. The minibar was free, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was just okay; compared to the 800 RMB breakfast we had in Chunxi Road, Chengdu, apart from the setting, the food wasn't significantly different… Sigh…
But if you ask me if I'd choose Six Senses again if I came back to Mount Qingcheng, I probably would… After all, the emotional value was still delivered, and overall, it was comfortable.

SJaniceThe room was spacious and very clean. Bottled water was provided daily. The hotel is in a very central location, within walking distance from the metro station, Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, and the iconic IFS building. There are plenty of food options nearby, available from breakfast through late at night. The hotel breakfast was decent.
The only downsides were that the bathroom lacked hooks for hanging clothes and there was a noticeable cigarette smell at the hotel lobby and along the corridor. Other than that, the stay was very comfortable.

Guest UserDespite seeing some negative reviews, I decided to give it a try. My conclusion is that the experience of staying in a star-rated hotel is incomparable to a B&B. I'm not sure if I was upgraded to a business room, but I had a very comfortable stay. The soundproofing was excellent, and it was very clean. All the little details were thoughtfully designed. Although the decor is a bit dated, it didn't detract from the experience. In the bathroom, I even found a retractable clothesline, which was a nice touch. The entire floor felt cozy. I had a great night's sleep. The lobby service was also excellent; even with people coming and going, it wasn't noisy. It felt just like home, leaving me feeling completely relaxed and at ease.
(I've stayed in more expensive B&Bs before, and even though they had smart rooms and were spacious, the hygiene couldn't compare. I once had an itchy duvet and couldn't sleep all night. Plus, B&Bs are often located in buildings shared with other businesses, and the breakfast wasn't good.)
The hotel is also very close to Chunxi Road. Highly recommended and very satisfied.

The hotel environment is lovely, lush and green. The amenities are also well-developed, and it's very close to the ancient town. The garden room was very quiet, perfect for enjoying the full moon at night, which put me in a great mood. The guest rooms are well-maintained, and the breakfast selection met my expectations. A special shout-out to the front desk team for their warm and responsive service. Overall, highly recommended.

Guest UserThe location on Wangping Street is super convenient! There are many cafes and bars along the river, and you can walk to IFS and Taikoo Li, but I opted for a Didi instead. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with a 24-hour laundry room and gym. They offer unlimited free boiled water, and there's even a robot for room service. Inside the room, there's a Xiao Du smart assistant, a smart bed (with adjustable height and massage modes), and a smart toilet. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly – I give 100 points to the ladies at counter #1 and #5 for their excellent service! I'll definitely be back here on my next trip to Chengdu. The only minor drawback might be that the bathroom and toilet are a bit small and lack hooks, which was a bit inconvenient 🥹

~lianrongbao~This hotel is super convenient, right next to Exit C of Tonghuimen Station on Metro Line 2. It's just a 10-minute walk to Kuanzhai Alley, 15 minutes to People's Park, and 20 minutes to Tianfu Square. To get to Wuhou Shrine, you can take Line 2, transfer to Line 5 for four stops to Gaoshengqiao Station, and then it's a 10-minute walk from Exit J.
The room size is decent, and the decor has a light luxury feel. I really appreciate that the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. There's a vanity right by the entrance. The bedding is a bit soft, so I had to stack two pillows to sleep comfortably.
I stayed here for four days and three nights during my trip to Chengdu. The housekeeping staff replenished towels and mineral water daily, and the room was kept very clean. The front desk attendant was kind enough to upgrade my room and breakfast, and even gave me a small souvenir when I left. I'll definitely choose the Mercure Kuanzhai Alley Hotel again on my next visit to Chengdu.

Anonymous UserRight next to East Station, and it's a 2-minute walk to the subway entrance. What more can I say? It's hostel prices with hotel amenities. The only minor downside is that there are a bit few washing machines in the laundry room, but then again, for this price, what else could you ask for?
