"We had a really pleasant stay at Andaman Beach Suites Hotel and were impressed with the service from the moment we arrived. We reached the hotel at around 10:00 AM, and the concierge team was very friendly and helpful with our luggage. They allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel while we went out. What I really appreciated was that instead of asking us to wait until the standard 2:00 PM check-in time, they asked us to come back around 12:00 PM, which was a very nice gesture and made our arrival much more convenient. It felt like they genuinely tried not to make guests wait unnecessarily. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, with a welcome drink and cold towel provided. There was a THB 1,000 deposit required during check-in. The room was another highlight — it was big, spacious, clean and comfortable, with a lovely sea view and balcony. We truly enjoyed spending time in the room and waking up to the view. 🌊 The breakfast was decent and had a reasonable selection, although it wasn’t the highlight of our stay. Check-out was also fast and hassle-free, which we appreciated. ⚠️ Feedback regarding nearby scooter rental This is not related to the hotel itself, but I would like to share a warning for other guests staying in the area. There is a tourist information centre and a few shops near the hotel offering motorbike/scooter rentals. We rented a scooter from one of them and later, they claimed that a particular part of the scooter had been damaged while it was under our rental. Fortunately, we had recorded a video of the scooter’s condition before taking it, and the same damage they pointed out was already visible in our recording before we rented it. This protected us from being wrongly charged. They also initially told us that we had to return the scooter with the same amount of fuel. However, after the disagreement regarding the alleged damage, they completely stopped mentioning the fuel, even though we were actually willing to pay for the missing fuel. Because of this experience, I strongly recommend that anyone renting a scooter in the area take detailed photos and videos of the entire scooter, including every existing scratch or damaged part, before riding away. It can save you from unnecessary disputes later. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Andaman Beach Suites Hotel. The spacious seaview room, friendly concierge, smooth check-in and convenient service made it a good stay for us. 🌴🌊"

"The room was clean, tidy, and odorless, with no bedbugs as some online reviews mentioned, and I didn't see any insects or snakes outside either. It's best to book a sea-view room. I stayed in A2 this time, and it was really comfortable. On the last day of my trip, when I was tired, I could just relax in the room with the air conditioning on, drinking a cold beverage, and enjoying the sea view (it looked just okay when it was cloudy at first, but it became beautiful once the sky cleared up). The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and provided excellent service. The price was also quite affordable, and it's very close to the beach. You just need to walk across the road and through a small alley to reach Kata Beach. The massage shop right outside the hotel is very good, and you can bargain for the price~ It's also close to 7-Eleven, just a few minutes' walk away. If you're not particular about having a hotel pool, this place is definitely a great choice."

"Mixed feelings about this resort. I booked a superior room with balcony, to discover upon arrival that the balcony was actually indoor. A balcony in a covered space (atrium, i added pictures). But when i went down to the reception and shared my disappointment, the only response the front desk gave me was ‘my system says this is what you booked’…. Not even asking, can i have a look at your booking or asking me anything. Basically saying: I don’t give a **** and my computer says i’m right. When Trip tried to call her, but couldn’t reach her on the phone, she said “oh yes, that’s because our sales team already went home”… again: ‘not my problem’ attitude. Very bad and definitely not up to common hospitality standards. The ladies’ supervisor luckily did a lot better and Trip did an amazing job to come to a solution. Location is very central, good restaurant, amazing layout and pool. Also be aware that even if you book and paid for a double room, if your friend (male or female) is too tired after party to go back home and sleeps in your room, they will charge you 1,000 Bth extra per night. I find this also ridiculous. The last picture is after the upgrade."

"The room pictures showed a sea view, but when I arrived, I was told it was only a partial sea view and was given a room really far from the ocean, surrounded by mountains. Every time I needed to go up or down the mountain, I had to take a taxi, which was expensive here. They have a shuttle service to go down the mountain, but you have to taxi back up yourself. The mountain is super high, and the room had bugs and ants that bit me in many places, causing an allergic reaction. Every time I rode up the mountain, I was on edge. The breakfast wasn't good either, and all the hotel service was in English. Most of the guests were white, and there was no Chinese service. I booked for two nights, and they charged me 800 yuan in taxes. The transfer service was good and polite, but the front desk service was very mediocre and seemed to cater heavily to Westerners! I didn't feel very comfortable personally (I'm sensitive to these things)."

"My experience at Keemala was beautiful and different in terms of concept and design 🌿. What I liked most was how smartly the property blends the villas with nature. You feel like the villa is part of the forest, not just a normal hotel room. The atmosphere is peaceful, the privacy is great, and the views around the property give a relaxing feeling away from city noise ☁️. The bathroom was truly impressive, with beautiful design, space, and details ✨. It was one of the best parts of the villa for me. Breakfast was also good, and the shakshuka was amazing and very delicious 🍳. The staff were kind and respectful ⭐️, and it was clear that they tried to help as much as possible. However, I also felt that some of them seemed a bit tired or stressed. That being said, I did not feel the place was as luxurious as I expected for the high price 💸. The experience is unique, but it is more about the nature concept, privacy, and design rather than classic luxury or the level of service I expected from a resort at this price. Also, you should not mind seeing geckos almost everywhere 🦎. This may be normal because the property is surrounded by nature, but it may not be comfortable for everyone. The most disappointing part of my stay was an incident near the private pool. There was a glass cup, and I thought it was safe to use around the pool or maybe non-breakable, but the wind knocked it down and it broke. After that, the hotel charged the full 3,000 THB deposit for cleaning, even though the staff cleaned the area in less than 20 minutes and told me it was safe afterward. Later, during checkout, I was told again that the area was not safe and that the deposit would be kept for further cleaning, which felt very frustrating. I really think the resort should provide non-breakable cups around both private and public pools, because glass near a pool can easily become a problem for any guest, especially with wind or outdoor areas. I also hope the deposit policy becomes clearer and more reasonable, because losing the full deposit for an accidental situation left a negative feeling at the end of the stay. Overall, I recommend it if you are looking for a unique nature stay, high privacy, creative design, and a beautiful bathroom. I would not recommend it if you expect strong luxury for the price, dislike geckos, or do not like strict policies for small accidents."

"[R1] Why did I choose this hotel? It was during the 618 big sale, and there was a promotional package at half price. The room type wasn't ideal, as it was a forest suite with no sea view, but for that price, I felt it was worth experiencing. [R2] Hotel Pros First off, the privacy is excellent. You truly get your own exclusive stretch of beach. All rooms are detached bungalows, so you barely hear any noise from next door. The sea here is indeed quite beautiful, and the sand is very soft. I think the biggest highlight, though, is their pool – it's incredibly photogenic. The staff's attitude is also great; if you're on the beach, you'll get complimentary water and fruit, and someone will even lay out a mat for you. This aspect of the experience was really good. [R3] Hotel Cons Firstly, the public areas of the hotel are quite small, basically just the main building and the bungalows. So, you're pretty much limited to the pool and beach each day. The breakfast selection isn't very wide, although the à la carte options are decent. I think the biggest drawback of the hotel is the very long staircase you have to climb every day to get from the restaurant to the beach or the pool. Going up and down that every day is really tiring. Also, the spa prices are quite high, starting at around 800 per person."

"I’m out of words with this one! Was supposed to be the Grand romantic stay of our honeymoon here but from the check-in, everything changed. I contacted the hotel 2 days earlier to book in my boat transfer for 2pm. On the day, We arrived early to a crowded lounge with no places to sit down and had our bags tagged with 14:00 on them, comes the boat and somehow people get on and no one says anything until I ask one of the staff and she simply goes “ Oh because safety, you have to wait for the next one in 10 minutes”. That was a lie and it would’ve meant a lot not being lied to in order to relax cuz it did anything but that. We ended up on a boat finally at 3pm. We checked in to a beautiful room and the host “Don” was very helpful getting to the room and explaining surrounding. He was also nice to give us a late check out the next day. At night, we attempted the 3 restaurants they had were “It’s everything” restaurant told us “Here is buffet only l, if you want a la cart go to the Italian restaurant”. So we went down to “Eat” restaurant and studied the menu for about 20 mins, my wife went up to the cooking station and asked if she can order and they told her we’ll come to the table. We sat there for another 6 mins and then decided to leave as we couldn’t really understand what’s happening. A lady came following us saying “I’m ready to take your order now” which we appreciated but was a bit late for that. Same thing happened in the Italian restaurant as I memorized the menu but no service to even tell you if I should keep waiting seated or just go up and order. Finally we went back to the room and ordered room dining and thank god that worked. The next day breakfast came to even add the shock “If you can believe there’s more”. A small restaurant with few stations to a massive crowd that was even hard to move around. At one point I was just standing and waiting the coffee machine for someone to come and fill water and milk and I hoped if I knew where they were, I would’ve done it myself and saved us all the wait. In honesty I was hungry but I took what I can get between the crowd and had a small plate as seen in photos just to get done with this wild experience. I’m not really sure what went wrong, I’m left to think maybe it was because I booked through a third-party agent l, or maybe they’re busy or understaffed or even more wildly, maybe it’s my looks and color! I don’t know it could be anything to be fair, the one thing it can’t be is calling anything but the room a 5-Star hotel / Experience and maybe that’s what it is actually. Just a beautiful cosy room is all they can provide for a 1 night @ $625 AUD mark. So if that’s your thing, fair you might enjoy it but I’ll also tell you that our other 3 previous stays in Phuket were all half the price of this and lightning years exceeding the service and quality of this."

"The accommodation is beautifully decorated and comfortable to the eye. The soft lighting in the room ensures a peaceful sleep, showing great attention to detail. There's a swimming pool and a private sauna right in front of the property – absolutely wonderful! In the mornings, you can see tourists jogging, which creates a warm atmosphere. There's also a viewpoint nearby where you can hike up to enjoy stunning sea views, very chic. All around the accommodation, you're surrounded by green trees, truly living up to its name 'Ozone' (referring to fresh air). It's a shame I only stayed one day. The room rate isn't expensive for the amenities provided. Overall, it's excellent value for money."

"For the latter half of our trip to Phuket, we switched to the Marina Phuket Resort, nestled between Kata and Karon beaches. Firstly, this hotel boasts a traditional Thai style, built on a hillside with a rich tropical rainforest vibe. Strolling through the grounds feels like being immersed in a romantic jungle. The architecture is distinctly Thai, and the landscaping offers beautiful scenery at every turn. What truly stands out is that the rear of the hotel connects directly to Karon Beach. Come sunset, gazing out at the horizon, the crimson twilight merges with the sea, waves caress the golden sand, and the dark cliff rocks add to a stunning, unparalleled view. You can walk along the soft, fine sand or enjoy playing in the water – it's perfect. Next door, there's a restaurant that hosts fireworks and fire-breathing shows in the evenings, so if your timing is right, you can enjoy them for free. Secondly, the hotel's service is generally attentive and gentle, very much in the Thai style – perfect for a relaxed, slow-paced vacation. Guests receive complimentary dinner daily at the Red Chopsticks restaurant right outside, offering a fusion of cuisines that's pretty decent. Breakfast is served by the pool, though the selection isn't extensive. Finally, I personally feel this hotel is better suited for older families or couples seeking a quiet retreat. For families with young children, there aren't many play areas, and due to its hillside location, it might be inconvenient for the elderly to move around."

"Nice hotel for families with kids. They have a mini animal farm with two sessions every day, and the kids absolutely loved it. The water slides were another big hit — the kids went crazy for them! 😂 The room was clean and comfortable. The decor is a bit old-fashioned, but everything was still clean and well maintained, so it was fine for us."
