Hotels near Datong Normal University, Datong

"Not noisy at all at night, I slept soundly. The room was also very clean, and the sheets and duvet covers had no strange odors. Check-in and check-out at the front desk were both very fast. Great value for money, highly recommended."

"Very good hotel in a good location that’s not right in the busy centre, but also not too far away. The service from the front staff was very friendly and warm. Would stay here again if ever back in Datong!"

"A perfect stay! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Datong! ✨ The hotel is new, with a bright and airy environment and simple yet sophisticated decor that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you enter. The room was impeccably clean, spotless, and the bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, ensuring a very restful sleep. There was absolutely no new hotel smell, only a subtle, pleasant fragrance. The location is amazing! It's super close to Huayan Temple and within walking distance of the ancient city's core area, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The breakfast deserves special praise! A wide variety of options, including both Chinese and Western dishes, as well as local Datong specialties. The freshly cooked knife-cut noodles, hot dishes, fruits, and desserts were all delicious and satisfying. The service was attentive and thoughtful. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, paying attention to every detail. The value for money is simply top-notch! 💯 If you're traveling to Datong, this is the place to go without hesitation. I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"This is my second time in Datong! Last time I didn't get to see enough of the attractions. Before coming here, I saw a newly opened hot spring guesthouse. Wow, Datong is truly full of surprises! It felt like staying at the Mandarin Oriental. The bedding and service were impeccable. The best part was the view – a view of the iconic Ganlou building, and apricot blossoms outside the window! The hot spring bath in the room was a natural volcanic hot spring!!! So worth it! Thank you to the housekeeper for taking such good care of me! I highly recommend it! There was even a heated kang bed over the hot spring bath. It was cool in Datong, so coming back warm was a welcome relief. The hot spring water was definitely different from regular hot water; my skin felt so smooth afterward! I'll definitely come back! Looking forward to exploring new guesthouses and restaurants next time! 🎉👍 And the owner's aesthetic sense is amazing!! Facilities: 💯 Cleanliness: 💯 Environment: 💯 Service: 💯"

"I like the environment very much, except that there is no breakfast. The lights in the room are also very bright and the environment is warm. It is very suitable for family travel, and the nearby food is also convenient."

"I booked two rooms for 4, and we were given rooms beside each other. We arrived late at night around 9.30pm and check in went smoothly. Rooms were very comfortable and were equipped with SMART tech with voice activation! We were also able to check out a little later upon request since our train left later in the afternoon. I also had packages delivered to the reception and had no issues. Location was great and easy to explore the ancient city and also to see the main wall itself. One thing to note is that there isn't a formal drop off point but you can definitely get dropped off and picked up along the side of the road. The room layout was slightly different than the images on Trip.com (I booked a Double bedroom with courtyard view with a stay voucher), but the room was good too although I would have preferred the toilet configuration in the photos. Overall, a great place to stay and I'd definitely stay here again if I get to come back to Datong. They also have a bakery at the lobby and it gets sold out pretty quickly!"

"The hotel has a great atmosphere. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. It's a newly opened hotel, so the environment is excellent, parking is convenient, and it's clean and tidy. The surrounding facilities make it very easy to get around."

"I booked this hotel during my trip to Datong, and it was a pleasant surprise! The hotel was spotless, with every nook and cranny immaculate. The facilities were complete and brand new, with smart home management throughout. Even the toilets were electric, and there was a small refrigerator. The bedding was pristine white, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay, and I slept soundly all night. 😴 The environment was beautiful and comfortable, with a lounge area on the first floor where you could relax and unwind. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, providing quick check-in and responding promptly to all requests. They were very considerate, greeting me every time I entered or left, making me feel pleasant. The breakfast selection was plentiful, especially the mutton offal noodle soup, which was incredibly delicious! 😋 I was traveling by car, and the hotel had convenient parking, making it an ideal choice for those on a road trip. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I travel to Datong and will recommend it to my friends. Based on my personal experience, for those traveling to Datong, go for it! Choosing this hotel is a sure bet."
