Staying at the Crowne Plaza Changbai Mountain Hot Spring Resort offered a mixed experience overall. **Highlights:** The hotel's service was truly impressive; all staff members were enthusiastic, responsive, and proactively offered travel advice and asked about our itinerary. The backyard features an adorable petting zoo where you can get up close with sika deer, alpacas, and other small animals, making for a relaxing and therapeutic stroll – perfect for families with children. The hotel also boasts its own volcanic hot springs with both indoor and outdoor pools, which are incredibly comfortable and soothing after a day of hiking. **Drawbacks:** The guest rooms are on the smaller side, feeling a bit cramped. The minibar in the room didn't include any drinks, so we had to call room service for water. The hotel's location is relatively secluded, with very few dining options available outside the hotel, meaning we were largely reliant on the hotel's internal dining, which had limited choices. This hotel is ideal for guests who prioritize hot springs, animal interactions, and excellent service. However, if you have high expectations for room spaciousness or dining outside the hotel, it's advisable to manage your expectations beforehand.

Arriving in Erdaobaihe by car, I checked into this hotel and the front desk service immediately earned a perfect score. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, the front desk remotely guided me to a parking spot, saving me from driving around unnecessarily. During check-in, the staff patiently explained local Korean ethnic cuisine recommendations and even helped us plan a mountain entry route that avoided backtracking. Due to the significant temperature difference between morning and evening, the front desk thoughtfully provided hot water. When I suddenly needed to print my mountain entry voucher, they printed it for me free of charge, demonstrating incredibly high efficiency. Communication was smooth throughout my stay, and the staff were always polite and accommodating, ready to help with anything. Their warm and reliable service made my trip to the scenic area completely stress-free. I highly recommend this hotel, largely thanks to the front desk's thoughtful and meticulous service.

Erdaobaihe is a really sweet, cozy little town. Although it’s not located in the main town area, it is just opposite the beautiful pine forest, which makes the surroundings very peaceful. There are free buses available to travel within the town, which is very convenient. However, as we can’t read Chinese, we mostly relied on Didi instead. Getting a Didi can be a bit challenging due to the limited number of drivers, but as long as you’re willing to wait 5–15 minutes, you should be able to get one. The people in the town are very warm and welcoming. We visited Enduli, and it was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable. The morning view from our room was magical. The room itself was spacious, and the bathroom was equipped with a smart toilet with a heated seat, which was a nice touch. There was a small issue where we found a strand of hair on the bed when we opened the bedsheet. We didn’t make a fuss as I had my own disposable bedsheet prepared. Despite this minor incident, the overall stay was wonderful. What really made this place special was Aunty Wu. She was always there for us and even woke up at 6am just to bid us goodbye. When we were looking for laundry services, she kindly offered to wash our clothes in-house. With my OCD, I was especially touched that she even warmed my laundry bag for me - such a thoughtful gesture. Will definitely be back

Huge thanks to the lovely front desk lady who upgraded my room! One of the staff members was truly amazing, and I really appreciate her efforts and kindness. There's a great 'iron pot stew' restaurant about 200 meters to the left when you exit the hotel – the food was delicious and I'd definitely recommend it. The owner even suggested we try ice fishing! However, apart from the excellent service from that one staff member, the hotel's facilities and room amenities were pretty average. I didn't feel it offered great value for money. The pictures are dedicated to that wonderful lady who brightened our stay.

The overall facilities are decent, and the front desk service is quite warm and attentive. The breakfast selection is基本合格 (basically acceptable). However, there's significant room for improvement in the details: 1. The cleaning was not thorough. Upon check-in, we found a large puddle of water under the clothes drying rack where the disposable slippers were stored, and it hadn't been cleaned. It took two calls to housekeeping for staff to arrive. 2. The complimentary hot spring tickets were generally okay, but it was unclear if it was real hot spring water, and the different pools showed no differences other than temperature. 3. The complimentary activities were all quite far from the hotel, and it was almost impossible to get a taxi there and back. The hotel also didn't provide shuttle services. I understand it's peak tourist season, and your reception capacity is limited, but don't forget you're one of the most expensive hotels in town. Is this the kind of service we get for such a price? This alone isn't enough to give you a low rating. What's most infuriating and incomprehensible is your hotel's airport/station drop-off service this afternoon. We booked a 13:00 departure, but the hotel only contacted us 10 minutes beforehand. Before the scheduled time, they inexplicably accused us of delaying and aggressively rushed us. With our luggage, we originally needed a whole car, but were forced to share a ride with others. They even blamed us, with a rude, lazy, and extremely impatient attitude! Is this the service quality of Erdaobaihe, a famous cultural and tourism town? Fortunately, we took several other taxis, and all the other drivers, including the one who picked us up, were very professional. Only your driver, with the license plate ending in 2227, doesn't fear tarnishing the reputation of Changbaishan people!! Afterwards, a so-called 'travel butler' called me to ask what happened. His attitude was also arrogant; he didn't even say hello! Have you studied law? Do you have investigative power? Reflect on your service first! I'm not obligated to repeat myself to you! I'm not complaining for the sake of it, nor do I need to file a complaint, but I must express my true feelings to you! Please reflect on your service quality for the sake of this beautiful sacred land!

The Yunshuilanting Hot Spring Hotel is excellent. I traveled to Changbai Mountain with my elders and stayed in a Deluxe Twin Room with two large beds. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. Both the indoor and outdoor environments of the hotel are beautiful, and it's not far from various attractions, yet very quiet. The transportation is convenient, making it easy to get anywhere. The hotel staff are very kind, attentive, and enthusiastic. They offer an outdoor hot spring and free parking. There's also a fantastic barbecue restaurant right next door! 😄 Their breakfast is also good. Highly recommended.

Right at check-in, we were given two warm bottles of Changbai Mountain mineral water. The room was standard, and the heating was very strong – we had to sleep with the window open. The hot springs, however, are in a separate building, and you have to walk through the lobby on the ground floor to get to them. The lobby and the breakfast area on the second floor weren't warm enough, making it easy to catch a cold after coming back from the hot springs. The hot springs themselves are communal and only have a few small pools; it's not really worth going unless you just want a quick taste of Changbai Mountain's hot springs.

Our stay at the Changbai Mountain Gem Hotel was absolutely perfect – I have to give it high praise! When we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and offered us a free room upgrade, which was a wonderful surprise. The hotel is located away from the noisy commercial areas, making it exceptionally quiet and ideal for resting before heading up the mountain. Our room was spotless, the bedding was soft, the facilities were comprehensive, and there was plenty of hot water. It also has its own private parking, which is very convenient if you're driving, and it's a short distance to the North Scenic Area of Changbai Mountain. The staff were gentle and polite, responding promptly to any requests, and there were no hidden charges. Overall, it's excellent value for money. We had a peaceful night's sleep and were full of energy for our hike the next day. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Changbai Mountain!

Here’This resort hotel was the most satisfying stay of our entire 8-day China trip across Harbin, Changbaishan, Xuexiang, and Yabuli. We stayed in a family residence unit, which allowed all of us to live together comfortably under one household. The resort is extremely clean and well-maintained. Our unit even included a mahjong table and a private hot spring, which made the stay very enjoyable. Although the price is not cheap, it is definitely worth the money. The butler service was excellent — the staff were attentive and always did their best to accommodate our requests. Highly recommended. I’m confident you will have a pleasant and memorable stay here.

Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated, they were well-maintained, and the rooms were clean and tidy, making me feel very comfortable. The hotel staff deserves the most praise; everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. We had originally planned to visit Changbai Mountain, but the mountain was closed due to weather, disrupting our plans. We are very grateful to the hotel manager, Fang Lin, and our driver, Zhang Ming, for proactively helping us rearrange our itinerary. They recommended and assisted us with activities such as snowmobile rides, horse-drawn sleigh rides, skiing, and ice fishing, ensuring our trip was still exciting and fulfilling. We are from the south and this was our first time in Northeast China, and we had never tried frozen pears before. When Zhang Ming saw this, he specially treated us to frozen pears, making us feel incredibly thoughtful and cared for. Throughout the entire trip, the staff promptly helped resolve any problems we encountered; their service was truly excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel.
