Hot Springs Hotels in Sendai

This was a last-minute trip to Tohoku and Hokkaido. Since I was staying in Sendai for the last few days and wanted to enjoy breakfast, dinner, and onsen (hot springs) at a nearby hotel, I decided to visit Akiu Onsen, which I hadn't been to before. The hotel thoughtfully provided a shuttle bus between Sendai Station and the hotel, which was very convenient. The front desk service was excellent. The onsen area was large, and the dinner was very good (including any extra meals I purchased). The breakfast was relatively disappointing; there weren't any particularly appealing dishes, and the quality was just average. Although I always chose to bathe and soak in the public bath, I also used the bathroom in my room, and my family members weren't used to going to the public bath. However, the problem was that even when I adjusted the temperature to over 50 degrees Celsius, the water temperature in the room's bathroom was only between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius, and adjusting it further didn't change anything. I wonder if there's something wrong with that. In conclusion, for a hotel with a normal temperature, I believe there are other better options in the Akiu Onsen area.

The hotel intimately arranges the station to and from the station and a warm lobby to welcome the guests. The open-air wind is near Guangxi and Sichuan, so that the soup is not a leisurely feeling. The indoor bath is spacious and luxurious, the bright large glass window can enjoy the snow scene, and the warm bathrobe coat is comfortable and beautiful. One berth and two meals for dinner and breakfast are buffets, fresh ingredients are simple and delicious. A variety of handmade coffee, tea, wine and snacks are provided in the lobby lounge area. You can enjoy the scenery outside the window and enjoy the scenery. It is not boring to spend the whole day in the hotel. It is a hot spring accommodation hotel worth visiting.

VVery nice hostel in a good location near train station..Have an Onsen, microwave, hot water, a place to sit down and eat or working at your floor..not have a fridge. I came too early, because of my train from Tokyo (around 1.30 pm) and i need to wait until 3 pm for check in. Beds ready, clean ready...but need to waiting the check in time..and it'fair isn't. The only problem was they start check in process 5-7 mins before 3 pm and they was very slowly and not professional...my time for check in it was 3.15 pm if not more...one of the last check in there. And this happened especialy because one disrespectful girl, she was determined to delay the proceedings—even more than others already had. Ugly and disrespectful attitude, make me lose time everytime..she had and fun about this when i explain her i not appreciateher jokes. She, as well as all the others, either doesn't know how to speak English or doesn't want to... just simple words, like ”key.” I expected more from one hotel (or hostel) in Japan. I was disappointed with the choice of this hostel. It is very difficult to find the hotel without help, as its name is written only in Japanese. The bed is very hard; it feels like sitting or sleeping on a wooden plank.

Dinner is the best, breakfast is good. Service is superb. But need to rush for dinner since the hotel will give you only 2 hours and there’s no English at the sign of each menu, so we need to walk around and look inside of every pots. One more down side, when there’s a strong wind, you will hear the sharp noise from the wind leaking through the windows.

Every time I come to Japan, I always look for the Super Hotel first. The price is reasonable and the location is great. This is my first time at the Sendai branch. Although there is no parking lot, there is one right next door, which is very convenient. The onsen (hot spring) here is segregated between men and women, and you have to take turns using the regular ones. I booked a Super Room, which was fantastic, considering how small Japanese rooms are. The breakfast was as good as always. It's incredibly good value for the price, and of course, there's free-flowing drinks during the stay. What else can compare at this price?

Stayed one night in the main building. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with good amenities. Our package included both buffet breakfast and dinner, which was a nice touch. At check-in, guests are asked to select their preferred dining times. Since the restaurant can get quite busy, I recommend choosing the earliest slot for a more relaxed experience. The onsen facilities were decent and provided a chance to unwind. Overall, it was an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Very historical hotel, but unfortunately the surrounding area is too desolate, there is no scenic spot that can be reached on foot, there was originally a cherry blossom road, but the trees were also cut and replanted. Should not come again

I've stayed here about 5 or 6 times now, and every visit, the cleanliness is impeccable and the service is excellent. The staff's polite language and their commitment to ensuring guests never feel uncomfortable truly put me at ease. This time, for the first time, I opted for a room-only stay as I wanted to enjoy a relaxing hot spring trip without any interference. (Previously, my best friend and I always chose plans with breakfast and dinner.) This kind of stay is also very reasonable, and given the reliable service, I'll continue to choose Rantei for all my future visits to Akiu Onsen, rather than trying other inns. Having just turned 60, I'm not sure how many more times I'll be able to visit... Thank you so much for everything.

The pick-up driver is courteous and helpful. After arriving at the hotel, passengers can enjoy free drinks and snacks and ice cream, feeling heart-warming. Three hot springs, each with its own characteristics. The buffet dinner and breakfast are rich, sweet shrimp and salmon fillets are beautiful, the beef willow is fresh and tender, and the potato stew tempura is sweet and soft. You can't miss it.

The hotel is on the hillside, but the hotel provides bus pick-up service, great! Large towels are provided in the women's bath for guests to walk to the open-air hot spring. A bonfire is prepared next to the hot spring to increase the atmosphere. After the hot spring, guests can enjoy a massage chair in the women's bath locker room. The only drawback is that the one-night stay with two meals package booked on trip.com does not include the option of dinner. I was envious when I saw other guests enjoying high-end cuisine.
