"The hotel's location by the Two Rivers and Four Lakes is perfect – it's peaceful yet central. My room was window-facing, but it wasn't noisy at all. I booked a queen room and was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a super king room. Upon entering, I was greeted by a lovely green view, which was such a delightful surprise. The hotel is relatively new, clean, and tidy, with great amenities like a smart assistant (XiaoDu), an electric bidet toilet, a heated towel rack, and a direct drinking water dispenser – fantastic value for money! The service was also very thoughtful; during my two-night stay, a butler handled my laundry daily. The downstairs restaurant served delicious food too. All in all, I was very satisfied with this trip; it definitely enhanced my Guilin experience."

"The lobby is clean and bright, and the staff are excellent – very attentive and patient. The room was spotless. The hotel amenities are comprehensive; you can eat and drink right on-site, and they even offer desserts in the evening. The location is superb, very close to the scenic spots, within walking distance. They also have their own parking, including an underground garage. When we checked out, they even gave us a small souvenir, which was a really thoughtful touch! I'll definitely stay here again next time! Highly recommended!!!!!"

With a view right outside the window, stepping downstairs transports you into a picturesque scroll of mountains and rivers – distant peaks like painted brows, nearby waters hazy with mist, and swirling clouds that make you feel like you've entered an ink-wash fairyland. Choosing this place meant even a rainy day became a rare and beautiful experience. What was even more delightful was the hotel's service. The one-on-one butler was thoughtful and meticulous, ensuring everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out. In the morning, that authentic bowl of Guilin rice noodles, with its rich卤香 (lu xiang - savory braised flavor), left a lasting impression. The room facilities were comprehensive, and the cleanliness was impeccable. This trip's perfect experience was set from the moment I first gazed out the window at the stunning view. Waking up in a misty haze and falling asleep surrounded by mountains and rivers – I wholeheartedly recommend this Guilin to anyone yearning for a poetic escape."

"I arrived pretty early, and the lady at the front desk was kind enough to show me a few rooms so I could pick one. I ended up choosing a room on the 10th floor with a really nice view. The breakfast every morning was great; I loved having a bowl of noodles, and the 7-10 AM breakfast hours were perfect for a late riser like me. The view from the breakfast area was also lovely, and there's a small pool where you can see the Taohua River right from the hotel. Plus, there's a small kids' play area on the 9th floor. And every day when I came back from exploring, the cleaning staff had meticulously cleaned my room."

"The hotel's location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient to visit Elephant Trunk Hill, Sun and Moon Pagodas, Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, and East and West Alleys. The front desk and other staff members were all very friendly and attentive. The room was clean, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. They even provided sweet soup in the evenings, which was a lovely, heartwarming touch. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely return to this hotel on my next trip to Guilin!"

"The rooms are lovely, set right inside the park. After getting off at the park entrance, there's a shuttle bus that takes you to the hotel – I even got to know all four shuttle drivers! The park and Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area are very close by, and the views are fantastic. Just a minor drawback: the hotel facilities are a bit dated. If you prefer a more modern feel, you might not like it as much. Everything else was great though."

"As a senior member of IHG, Accor, and Shangri-La, I stay in many hotels every year, but this was the first time a hotel called me before check-in to explain the pros and cons of different room types based on my booking request – truly astonishing! Upon arrival, a dedicated staff member showed me various rooms, clearly detailing the advantages and disadvantages of each. When the reserved room type had less than ideal availability in terms of floor and orientation, they generously upgraded my room. Although the hotel is over ten years old, it's still well-maintained. The lobby's decor and design are excellent, with a distinctive charm. The materials used in the room's decoration and the quality of the linens are also good, showing that they spared no expense back in the day. Some room types feature a separate toilet room, which is a fantastic design as it keeps showering and using the toilet separate and reduces odors in the room. The shower water pressure is also very strong, which I really appreciated. The hotel clearly pays great attention to operational details. For example, light switches are tied to the lamps with zip ties, making them easy to find and operate without fumbling along the wires. Air conditioner vents have deflectors to prevent direct drafts, something many hotels ten times more expensive don't offer. Plus, every evening, a special herbal tea is delivered to the room, and after check-in, they send recommendations for good nearby restaurants via WeChat. The hotel's location isn't in the absolute core of the tourist area, but it's not far either. You can walk to Seven Star Crags, and while it might take a bit longer, it helps avoid the dense holiday crowds. Two large shopping malls and Shijiayuan Food Street are within walking distance, making dining and shopping very convenient. A small, unassuming steakhouse near the hotel is a hidden gem for meat lovers. However, close to the hotel, in Jiatiashang Square, residents sing until past 10 PM, which can be a bit disruptive, though acceptable. Higher floors facing east and south offer better views. The view from the rooftop infinity pool is excellent; I only looked at it this time and didn't get a chance to swim. The breakfast has a strong local flavor, and the oil tea and rice noodles are just as good as those from old street stalls. Western options could be improved, and the table and chair arrangement feels a bit cramped and could be optimized. I'd suggest either removing or lowering the elevator's arrival chime, as it can be a bit disturbing for rooms located near the elevators."

"I spent five days in Guangxi during the May Day holiday and stayed at a few hotels, but this one was definitely the best experience. I never write hotel reviews, but I highly recommend this place! The hotel just opened this May, so it's brand new. Definitely a five-star recommendation! Attentive and Thoughtful Service 💁 As soon as I arrived, the staff proactively helped me with my luggage. They were enthusiastic and attentive throughout, with a great service mindset. They even greeted me with a smile every time we made eye contact. Pet-Friendly, Clean, and Comfortable 🐕 I brought my dog with me this time, and the hotel was very pet-friendly. The room was meticulously clean, and the bedding was super comfortable. I felt completely at ease during my stay. Excellent Location, Convenient for Getting Around The hotel is right next to a scenic area, just a two or three-minute walk away. The location is unbeatable, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Great Dining Options 🍜 The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes and tasted great, including Guilin's famous braised rice noodles. The hotel also has a pool; unfortunately, it wasn't open during my visit, which was a bit of a shame, but it's already on my list for my next stay! Whether you're traveling with a pet or just visiting Guilin, you should absolutely choose this hotel. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Guilin!"

"Traveling as a family of five, we booked three rooms. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming during check-in and even gave us a free upgrade to rooms with a stunning view of the Li River! The hotel facilities are excellent, everything is clean, and the location is fantastic with plenty of nearby restaurants. Plus, it's within walking distance to several attractions and parking is convenient."

"Staying at the Osmanthus Tree Hotel in Guilin was such a pleasant surprise! The whole place has a quiet, resort-like vibe, away from the city's hustle and bustle, yet it's only a 15-minute taxi ride to the city center, which is a great location. The environment is incredibly comfortable; there's a subtle scent of osmanthus everywhere, and the air is exceptionally fresh. The room was clean and cozy, and the service was superb. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with luggage, which was a nice touch. The breakfast selection was extensive, including authentic Guilin rice noodles, which was super satisfying. From 8 to 9 PM, they also offered different bedtime snacks, showing great attention to detail. The hotel even has an Osmanthus Museum to visit, and many interesting DIY workshops, making it perfect for family vacations. I brought my mom this time, and just strolling on the hotel lawn was so relaxing. The only minor drawback was that the sofa chair in the room was a bit too large, taking up some of the walkway space. Other than that, I honestly can't find any faults. The overall experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Guilin!"
