"The hotel is located in Erdaobaihe Town and offers a shuttle service to and from the high-speed rail station, which is about a 20-minute drive away. It's approximately 1.2 km from the North Slope Distribution Center and not far from Enduori, both of which are within walking distance. The hotel has a cozy ambiance, and the heating is excellent (it was the warmest hotel throughout my entire東北 trip). The twin room was spacious, the bedding was clean, and the room lights were bright. The window overlooked a quiet residential area, which was nice. The separate toilet and shower room are quite convenient, though the shower stall lacked hooks, which was a minor inconvenience when showering. On the downside, the hotel isn't in the absolute center of town, so there aren't many restaurants nearby. Getting food often required taking a car to the central area, which was a bit inconvenient (delivery services here often have a minimum waiting time of 90 minutes). Luckily, finding a taxi or using Didi (ride-hailing app) was generally easy during my three-day stay."

"We stayed at the Suiseki Hotel in mid-October, and overall, it was a great experience. The room was spacious and clean, with complete amenities like a microwave, kettle, and refrigerator. They even thoughtfully provided bath bombs and toiletries. The bathtub was large, perfect for a relaxing soak. It was a shame the sauna was under maintenance, so we couldn't try it. The landlady and staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Since we were foreign tourists and didn't have local phone numbers, the hotel couldn't reach us and even worried that we wouldn't be able to find the place. The hotel's location is a bit secluded, making it hard to get takeout delivered. However, the room had instant noodles and snacks available for purchase, and you could also order hotpot and Northeastern Chinese dishes. We tried the cold noodles, and they were quite good. In the morning, the surrounding scenery was beautiful. We took many photos while walking back from the Suiseki rafting. Overall, the hotel offers a comfortable environment and attentive service, making it ideal for travelers looking to relax and escape the hustle and bustle. Oh, one last thing: the breakfast was delicious! Especially the millet porridge! 🤤"

"Double Tree Hilton is awesome hotel with professional service from the ground staffs. Friendly front desk staffs, attentive housekeeping team Wonderful buffet breakfast and dinner at the ”LUSH” ALL DAY DINING team. Double Tree signature biscuit is always our favorite and thanks for the free Valcano onsen and free ride back and forth to the ski activities. Will definitely stay here again for our further visits"

Furthermore, the logistics are handled seamlessly; the shuttle service to and from the High-Speed Rail station was very convenient. For those visiting Changbaishan, the hotel offers a direct bus service (provided you have a ticket), which made my trip stress-free. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Da Ling and Yin Ling. Their attentive care and constant check-ins throughout my stay made me feel truly valued and were the highlights of my trip. The dining experience was equally impressive. The breakfast buffet featured a wide variety of delicious options, and the on-site restaurant served a diverse menu where every dish was flavorful. Overall, I am thoroughly impressed. "Booked this trip for New Year's Day in advance, and the room rate was under 500, which I'm very happy with! It's right next to the Ji Hotel. In the morning, a lot of guests head out to tourist spots, so the hallway gets really noisy, and you'll be woken up. The Heavenly Lake's opening hours in winter are too short. It seems to be a newly opened hotel, as there's still a bit of a renovation smell."

"Taking my parents and kids to Changbai Mountain, choosing the right hotel was absolutely crucial! The family room at Ibis Changbai Mountain completely exceeded our expectations; we were comfortable and worry-free throughout our stay, and I really have to sing its praises. First off, the room is genuinely perfect for family travel! Two adults and two children fit comfortably with plenty of space for the kids to play freely. The decor is a light luxury, post-modern style, with an elegant and warm ambiance that's very relaxing. The 55-inch LCD TV and wall-to-wall Wi-Fi made it super convenient for the kids to watch cartoons and for the adults to research travel plans. The cleanliness was impeccable; the room was spotless and odor-free, the bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and the private bathroom had 24-hour hot water with strong pressure and stable temperature. The toilet even had a heating function – so many thoughtful details! The location is definitely a huge plus! It's only a fifteen-minute walk to the North Slope Tourist Distribution Center, so no need to worry about taxis to the Changbai Mountain scenic area. Directly opposite is the Wetland Flower Sea Park; we could smell the flowers just by opening the window, and taking a leisurely stroll with the family in the evening was lovely. It's also not far from the Edelweiss Camp and Cloudtop Market, making it convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. Even more surprisingly, the hotel offers a free high-speed rail station transfer service; just book in advance, and someone will be there to meet you. This was a lifesaver with elderly parents and children, saving us from lugging luggage around. The transfer driver even thoughtfully shared travel tips, which was incredibly useful! The service was so warm it was touching! The front desk staff were enthusiastic and patient, making check-in efficient. They also proactively recommended local delicacies and sightseeing routes. The breakfast was a Chinese and Western buffet with a rich variety, including local specialty beef soup rice that both the kids and parents enjoyed. The dining staff were also very kind. Any requests during our stay were promptly answered via WeChat, and at check-out, they even proactively asked if we needed water for the road. The entire experience was simply excellent. The value for money is absolutely fantastic – clean, comfortable, conveniently located, and with thoughtful service. It's perfect for both family trips and vacations. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next visit to Changbai Mountain and have already recommended it to friends who are planning to go!"

"The room is very spacious, and they replace the clean towels daily even for extended stays. There's a free laundry room, which is super convenient! Especially the restaurant – it's affordable and incredibly delicious, with not a single dish disappointing. I highly recommend the Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork) and Da La Pi (cold jelly noodles). I also want to give a special shout-out to the restaurant. After coming down from Tianchi Lake, I really wanted some ginger soup to warm up. Even though they hadn't made it before, they tried their best and made a whole pot for free, delivering it thoughtfully to my room with bowls and spoons. It was still piping hot when I received it – I was so touched and grateful! I highly recommend this hotel! It truly felt like a home away from home!"

However, after seeing many bloggers' recommendations and explanations, I ultimately chose the Crown Plaza 👑. **Facilities:** The decor is indeed an older style, but I have to say, the hotel's facilities were incredibly detailed and sophisticated for their time. This hotel must have been considered super luxurious when it first opened. First, it has a wet/dry separation in the bathroom, which many new hotels and even five-star establishments don't necessarily offer. Second, the sink faucets are positioned high, which saves most of us from back strain. Third, there are hooks outside the shower for hanging clothes – such a simple amenity, yet many hotels lack a place for clean clothes while showering. Finally, the shower stall has a built-in seat, the water pressure is strong, the water is hot and comfortable, and the showerhead isn't wobbly from long-term use. **Environment:** It's located mid-slope on Changbai Mountain. I asked the driver, and he said the Crown Plaza is already one of the highest hotels on the mountain in the vicinity, surrounded by pristine forests. It's the closest hotel to the North Slope scenic area and even offers an exclusive VIP transfer channel. There's also a shuttle bus that circulates within the scenic area to pick up and drop off guests at the hotel. What I loved most is that Julong Hot Springs is right inside the hotel, offering unlimited free access to natural volcanic springs, which washes away a day's fatigue. It's incredibly pleasant to soak in the warm, comfortable hot spring while watching the snowy world outside. **Service:** Super-duper VIP! Even before I checked in, various butler services contacted me to arrange everything before and after my stay, including hotel transfers, booking my itinerary for the next day, and VIP transfers to the North Slope. Whatever difficulties I encountered, they were immediately handled. A huge thank you to hotel butlers Shanqiu and Songyue, and travel butler Smile, for making guests feel at home and alleviating the anxiety of arriving in an unfamiliar city. 🙏 To all the hotel staff, everyone shines in their role! 👍👍"

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, close to both the town and the North Slope. It's about a ten-minute drive from the high-speed rail station, and the hotel provides a convenient shuttle service. The hotel features its own hot springs, where you can relax and soak while enjoying beautiful views of the Erdaobai River. They even have unique large iron pot hot spring baths, creating a truly wonderful atmosphere. The rooms themselves are quite spacious, though the facilities are a bit dated. The hotel's restaurant, 'Shao Jiu Guan,' impressed with its authentic Northeastern Chinese decor and cuisine. It boasts a lovely setting with the Erdaobai River flowing just outside its windows. When I asked the butler to reserve a table, I specifically requested a window seat if possible and was confirmed that one had been booked. However, upon arriving at the restaurant, just as a server was leading us towards a window table, another staff member abruptly informed us that all window seats were taken due to earlier bookings. We were then told to either sit in an inner section or return later. Oddly enough, after we had settled at an inner table and placed our order, we were suddenly told that a window seat had become available. This really put a damper on our dining experience. It would have been much better if they had simply informed us during the booking process if a window seat wasn't available."

"The room facilities are complete and spacious enough, and the bedding is very clean and odor-free. The service is warm and attentive! The breakfast is plentiful, and every dish is worth trying. Unlike other star hotels where the food is bland, the dishes here taste absolutely amazing! The hot spring area deserves a huge thumbs-up; there are all sorts of pools, and the water quality is top-notch. There are outdoor pools of various sizes, and there's even a pool where you can swim. Next time I come to Changbai Mountain, I definitely have to stay here again."
