"It's hard to believe this is a five-star hotel. First, upon arrival, we were told that the room we booked didn't include hot springs, and we'd have to pay an extra 198 per person. However, the online booking price was only 2 yuan more. Be sure to check the dropdown list carefully when booking, or you'll be ripped off at the front desk. Second, the hotel environment was frankly disappointing. I've never seen such a shabby and noisy lobby; it was like a marketplace, and I couldn't even hear the front desk staff. The room was so small it was hard to turn around, and everything felt outdated. Plus, the location is extremely remote; only two restaurants showed up on food delivery apps… Finally, since we had no choice but to eat at the hotel, the restaurant prices were exorbitant, clearly designed to fleece customers, with no other options available. The breakfast selection was also very limited and lacked any local specialties. It was crowded, and the service couldn't keep up; I waited 20 minutes in line for noodles. All in all, I do not recommend this hotel!"

The hotel is only 8km from Changbaishan Railway Station and 57km from Baishan Changbaishan Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. With multiple attractions nearby including Changbai Mountains Natural History Museum, Discovering Changbai Art Museum and Changbai Mountain Dongwo Hot Spring, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.
"The rooms were tidy and clean, and the facilities were convenient. The breakfast was also quite good. Since we were traveling with children and the elderly, we requested connecting rooms, and they carefully confirmed and arranged them according to our needs. The toiletries in the room were well-stocked for the number of guests. Parking spaces were reserved in advance in front of the hotel. Overall, the service was very satisfying. The hotel is close to the musical fountain and a food street, so the location is excellent. The front desk staff (a lovely lady) recommended local delicacies, and every single one was a hit. I would choose this hotel again next time. The rooms were very spacious, and the bathroom was also reasonably located, not disturbing our rest. The bedding was clean and tidy. We even received complimentary museum tickets for our multi-night stay. The hotel's location is particularly good, close to the Edelweiss Reindeer Park and the Wetland Flower Sea, so you can enjoy flowers and scenery right outside. It perfectly met the needs of our family trip with both children and seniors. The hotel is also very close to the North Slope Transit Center, making it convenient for walking or taking a taxi. The Cloudtop Market is also within walking distance. The hotel offers high-speed train pick-up and drop-off, and they thoughtfully called to confirm. Since we were driving, we just drove there directly. The hotel is also very quiet at night; you can hear the sounds of insects and enjoy the night view, yet the streetlights are bright, so there's no concern for safety. I would choose this hotel again next time."

"Choosing Atour Hotel Changbaishan North Slope Erdaobaihe Collection Center for our trip to the Changbai Mountain North Slope was an excellent decision. Its location is a major plus. The hotel is very close to the North Slope collection center, just a few minutes' drive away, so there's no rush to get to the mountain early in the morning. Wetland parks and deer parks are within walking distance, making leisure and dining incredibly convenient. It's also very close to the town's food street and market, making getting around hassle-free. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, allowing us to rest well after a tiring hike. The smart facilities were complete, the bathroom had a wet/dry separation, hot water was stable, and the humidifier helped with the dry climate of Changbai Mountain. The front desk service was warm and attentive, patiently explaining hiking注意事项 (precautions) and routes. The lobby thoughtfully provided fruit tea, and the self-service laundry and drying facilities were complete, making it easy to wash clothes during our trip. Breakfast offered a rich variety of nutritious options, ensuring we were full and energized for the mountain. The overall environment was quiet and elegant, with complete amenities and great value for money. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Changbai Mountain North Slope, and I would choose to stay here again on my next trip! Five-star recommendation!"

"This is a small, privately-owned hotel. I checked the online reviews before booking, and my stay was… okay. The room wasn't very big, and for the same price, I could have chosen the Lavande Hotel across the street. The facilities were relatively new, but there was a smoky smell when I entered. There are two restaurants downstairs that are open quite late at night. Getting around by taxi from here usually costs about 8 yuan, which is the starting fare. There's basically no one overseeing guests entering or leaving the hotel. Outside, it's a free-for-all for parking. The hotel robot delivered takeout quite quickly, and the front desk staff were responsive. I still recommend choosing a chain hotel; they might be more convenient in all aspects. The food inside Enduli was pretty good, and Tao Xiaochuan had a great taste. Changbai Mountain is mostly just various legends, I guess. Renting clothes at the foot of the mountain is convenient and practical; you don't need to bring your own. Nearby hotels like Puyue are all clustered together; the town isn't big, so you can stay anywhere."

"I was really happy with my choice to stay at Ibis for my trip to Changbai Mountain! The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a ten-minute drive to the North Slope scenic area of Changbai Mountain, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it super convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, the hot water was consistent, and the AC kept the whole room cool. They also have a self-service laundry room, which was really handy for washing clothes after sightseeing. The front desk staff were warm, thoughtful, and efficient with check-in. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, enough to fill you up before heading to the mountain. Overall, it's the consistent quality you'd expect from a standard chain hotel, offering great value for money. I've seen the 'Huazhu' brand in other travel destinations, and in similar locations, they tend to be on the higher end of the price range."

"An unexpectedly wonderful family trip, this hotel really warmed our hearts! We were so lucky with this family trip! Since we booked quite late, we didn't have high expectations, but the front desk lady was incredibly thoughtful and upgraded our room for our family of four. We were so happy with the room, and it instantly kicked off a perfect journey ✨ The service details were truly outstanding: 🏨 24-hour butler service – there was a shuttle from the parking lot to the town, and a dedicated car to take us to the North Slope distribution center, so we didn't have to worry about transportation at all. ♨️ The outdoor hot springs were incredibly relaxing; soaking in them after a tiring day was so therapeutic. 📱 What touched us most was that we came back from the North Slope quite late, and our phones were dead. The butler actually took my phone back to the hotel to charge it for me first. This level of thoughtfulness was simply amazing! 🎒 When we checked out, the front desk lady even thoughtfully prepared some snacks for us to take on the road! The kids said it was the first time they'd had beef noodles that actually looked like the pictures, not just 'images for reference only'! Our whole family was touched; you could feel the care in every single detail. We highly recommend this hotel to families visiting Changbai Mountain, and we'll definitely stay here again next time!!!"

The hotel restaurant offers local specialties, saving you the trouble of searching for authentic local cuisine, and the prices are reasonable. The hotel employs various marketing strategies, such as online live streaming. I sincerely suggest that during live streams, they should promote rooms based on actual availability. Otherwise, asking current guests to vacate their rooms can be quite awkward. Furthermore, business thrives on sincerity; falsely claiming an upgraded room is better when it's actually worse is really unacceptable."

"This Vienna Hotel in Changbai Mountain exceeded my expectations, very satisfied! The area where the hotel is located seems to be a relatively new hotel district, clean and tidy, and very quiet. We drove here, and there's parking right in front. It's only a few minutes' drive to the restaurants in Erdaobaihe town center and the Yunding Market. The room was clean, though a small fridge would have been a nice bonus. The breakfast was quite abundant, with both Chinese and Western options, and the variety was decent. The small wontons were pretty good; if you don't set your expectations too high, you should be happy. After we checked out, we accidentally left our child's sandals behind, and the staff proactively contacted us to help mail them, which we really appreciated! A great choice for family travel!"
