"I recently stayed at JEN Hotel by Shangri-La in Shenyang, and while the property itself is a bit dated, the service I received was truly outstanding and made my entire trip memorable. I would especially like to thank the front desk team, Bessie (管家), and the airport transfer driver for their exceptional care and support. Upon arrival, I faced some challenges as I didn’t have a local China phone number, and due to severe weather, I was unable to arrange food delivery on my own. The team stepped in immediately to help place orders for me and even ensured the food was delivered right to my room. They also assisted with receiving and managing courier deliveries for my online purchases, which was incredibly helpful. In addition, my luggage was damaged at the airport, and the hotel staff went above and beyond by following up daily and assisting me throughout the process until the issue was resolved. Their dedication and genuine willingness to help made a stressful situation much easier. What truly stood out was the warmth and kindness of everyone I interacted with. The people here are incredibly warm-hearted and attentive, and they made me feel genuinely cared for throughout my stay. Although the hotel itself shows some age, the level of service is among the best I have experienced. I would definitely return when I travel to Shenyang, China again. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful experience."

"You can grab as many ice pops as you like from the lobby's Zhongjie Laobinggun (a local ice pop brand), the environment is great, and the hotel room is super clean. I especially want to mention that the pillows are incredibly comfortable. It's right next to Shenyang North Station, so the subway is very close, making it easy to get anywhere."

"I booked this hotel because I wanted to visit the Shenyang Imperial Palace, and it's incredibly close – less than a 30-minute walk, which is super convenient! I didn't expect to be so impressed by the complimentary cookies; they were absolutely delicious. Next time I'll buy a whole bucket and bring some for my friends. "This hotel near Middle Street has an amazing location! You can walk to all the tourist attractions, and the pedestrian street is right downstairs, making shopping super convenient. My stay here really exceeded my expectations. Plus, the front desk at Shenyang Phoenix Grand even gave me a free upgrade to a 'Runfu Lu' (I'm assuming this is a room type or a special perk, and translating it literally as it's a proper noun), which was fantastic. They were also incredibly patient and recommended many great local restaurants and fun routes, which was a huge help and saved me a lot of planning time. Getting to nearby attractions and shopping areas is very easy. They offer free underground parking and even allowed me to extend my check-out due to a change in my itinerary, which was incredibly thoughtful. This hotel is truly customer-oriented and highly recommended! I've already told my friends to choose this place when they visit Shenyang."

The lobby is on the fourth floor, and the overall atmosphere is very comfortable. ✅The hotel's service is outstanding, especially the front desk staff. One particular staff member, wearing glasses, was exceptionally professional and enthusiastic. The check-in process was quick and efficient, clearly demonstrating the hotel's high standard of management. 🏠The rooms maintain their usual style. While the decor isn't flashy, they are clean, tidy, and have a simple design, making them very suitable for business travelers. 💰The price is also very reasonable, costing just over a hundred yuan during the off-season. 💡If any friends are planning to stay in Shenyang, this is a highly recommended option! 👍"

"I drove to Zhongjie and saw this hotel had its own parking lot, so I booked a room after parking. The location is indeed excellent; Zhongjie Street is right downstairs, making it super convenient to get to Toutiao Hutong, and the Forbidden City is also very close. The subway station is right outside the hotel too. I was initially worried it might be noisy, but when I returned to the hotel around 11 PM after exploring, it was surprisingly quiet. The pillows were great – I slept really well!"

"An ideal location close to the train station, just a 15-minute walk away. There are plenty of small shops downstairs from the building. The city center and the Forbidden Wax Museum are a 20-minute bike ride away. The owner is accommodating; I was able to leave my bags with her. The apartment is very spacious and very clean."

"Spent New Year's Eve in Shenyang with my family, and this hotel was perfectly located right next to Zhongjie. It's just a three-minute walk from the subway exit, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are tons of dining options nearby, including some famous old establishments, and many attractions are within walking distance. All in all, for anyone wanting to stay near Zhongjie and explore the surrounding sights, this hotel is highly recommended and left us very satisfied. It's definitely a much better choice than those ridiculously overpriced, run-down chain hotels."
