Guest UserThis hotel was the most satisfying for our self-driving trip. The free parking lot had plenty of spaces and allowed for easy in-and-out access, so we didn't have to worry about finding a spot for our car. The entire room was equipped with brand-new smart devices that were easy and convenient to operate, and the hot water was instantly available and maintained a stable temperature. The surrounding area had a dense concentration of night markets and restaurants, making it very convenient to go out for food in the evening. The room was clean and tidy, and it would be hard to find a better option at a similar price point.

Guest UserIt’s a really convenient location that’s within a 5 min walk to the subway station entrance and next door they have a luckin coffee in the Maoye building. The suite room was very big and had a good view of the city and Qing nian street. The room was tidy and they provided soft slippers and robes. Service was great and they would bring our takeout orders to the door. Their fridge was stocked with their own tea bottles, Coke, and 2 bottles of water. They also had their own 2 bags of drip coffee and loose leaf teas. Overall it was a very comfortable stay and we’d recommend Atour hotel.

The hotel's location is super convenient; you can see it right from North Station and even access it directly via an underground passage. Subway Lines 2 and 4 are right downstairs, making transportation a breeze. Taxis can also drop you off directly at the hotel entrance. Breakfast is available, though the variety is pretty standard. They also offered a complimentary business lunch or dinner, which had limited options, but it was enough to fill you up. The room looked exactly like the pictures, but the cleanliness details weren't great and definitely need improvement.

I can say it was incredibly comfortable. I'd heard about Atour's comfy bedding for a while, and finally got to try it out this time 👀. The mattress and pillows are really good. There are two types of pillows, and I prefer the flatter one. I even saw them for sale in the lobby for several hundred yuan each – when I move, I definitely need to get one for home 😂. There's plenty of space for one person, and the shower and toilet are separate and clean. The curtains are also very blackout. Staying at Atour after traveling through Mongolia was truly a comfortable experience!

Every year when I come back to Shenyang, I always book this hotel without a doubt. Each time, I choose a three-bedroom apartment, which is convenient for my husband and me, and our son and daughter to have their own space. Most of the time, I book through the official website and with Ms. Liu from sales, though occasionally I've booked on Ctrip. Regardless of the platform, I always receive excellent service.
This time, I arrived at the hotel close to 11 PM. It was comforting to see the familiar smiling face of the front desk staff. After recognizing my member status, she even upgraded my room to an executive suite. There have been several times I considered booking hotels on Youth Street, but while they may seem luxurious, they're not as practical for a family like ours staying for a few days, especially with all the laundry. At Ascott Shenyang, I can wash and dry clothes every day, and the kitchen is very convenient with a refrigerator to store groceries. When I've stayed for longer periods, I've even ordered delivery from Sam's Club and cooked my own meals. I've even spent Chinese New Year here and cooked our reunion dinner myself.
If I had to point out a drawback, I'd say some of the facilities could use an upgrade. For example, the speakers next to the TV are still from the DVD era; they could easily be replaced with modern, affordable, and functional Bluetooth speakers. The hotel kitchen is fully equipped with tableware and cookware, and there's a Xin Tiandi supermarket nearby to buy seasonings, plus a convenient Lawson downstairs. The only sad thing is the decline of Taiyuan Street; it was so bustling when I first came to Shenyang over 20 years ago, but now many shops have closed.
While the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's sufficient, offering both Chinese and Western options. The staff in the breakfast area are all very warm and polite.
Parking downstairs costs 40 yuan per day. What's more convenient now is that after registering your license plate when checking in, you don't need parking vouchers every time you leave. You just settle the total parking fee when you check out.
I'm always grateful for an incident during Christmas two years ago. I fell ill when I was alone in the room, and struggled to order medicine for delivery. It was the gentleman downstairs who brought it up to me, and I started to feel better after taking it. By the time my husband and child returned, I was already much improved. I've seen him still working near the front desk during my current stay. I'll be back this summer for another long stay. See you again, Ascott, in the summer!

The room was spacious and fantastic, with excellent soundproofing. The bathroom was well-stocked with shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and lotion. The only minor drawback was the lack of a light at the desk, making it a bit dark.
The gym was amazing, even equipped with weightlifting machines, and the treadmills had wireless charging! On the same floor, there was also a free self-service laundry room, and you could check machine availability directly from your room.
The front desk staff were warm and friendly. Highly recommended!

Atour is always my first choice for business trips! The location is superb, right by the subway, making getting around incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were efficient and welcoming during check-in, offering meticulous and polite service. The room was spotless, with a simple yet elegant design. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, the mattress had just the right firmness, and the soundproofing was excellent, so I could fall asleep soundly after a busy day. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries were high quality. Complimentary tea bags and mineral water were also provided. The Bamboo House library in the lobby had a wonderful, peaceful, and healing atmosphere, giving the whole place a rich cultural vibe. The value for money is outstanding, it's perfect for business travelers. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

Let's start with the positives: The hotel has its own underground parking, which is convenient for self-driving, but spaces are very tight. If you come back late in the afternoon, even the aisles are packed, making it a struggle to find a spot. The breakfast spread is quite rich, offering both Chinese and Western options, so you can eat to your heart's content. The room itself is spacious, and the soundproofing is exceptionally good; you can't hear a peep from the hallway or the next room. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and they even provide both soft and firm pillows, making for a great night's sleep.
Now for the annoying downsides: The entire building is over thirty floors high, with the hotel occupying floors 1 to 18. The upper floors are all talent apartments with a large number of long-term residents, so the elevators are constantly crowded. We stayed for three days, and on two of those days, we waited more than ten minutes for an elevator, only for it to arrive full and impossible to squeeze into, which really wasted a lot of time getting around. Additionally, the air conditioning only has cooling and heating modes, with no dehumidifier function. It was rainy and humid during our stay, and while the room wasn't hot, it felt stuffy. Having a dehumidifier would have made the stay much more comfortable.
Overall, the hardware and the food/accommodation are decent, but the elevator situation and the AC really detract from the experience.
