CchristiatheoMy stay at Novotel London Canary Wharf was overall very solid, with a few standout moments that made it memorable. The first thing that struck me was the hotel’s modern feel. Everything from the reception area to the corridors had a clean, stylish look. Check-in was quick, and the staff were polite and professional, though not overly personal. It felt efficient rather than warm—but still perfectly pleasant. The room itself was comfortable and well thought out. The bed was great for a good night’s sleep, and the blackout curtains worked really well—ideal if you want to fully rest after a busy day. The room wasn’t huge, but it made smart use of space, and everything felt practical. The view was definitely a highlight, especially if you’re on a higher floor—you get a great look at the surrounding Canary Wharf skyline. Facilities were another plus. The gym was well-equipped for a hotel, and the swimming pool was a nice bonus, especially for unwinding in the evening. However, it can get a bit busy at peak times, which slightly takes away from the relaxing vibe. The rooftop bar is probably the hotel’s best feature. The views are genuinely impressive, and it has a more premium feel compared to the rest of the hotel. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but that’s expected given the location and setting. Location-wise, it’s ideal if you’re staying in Canary Wharf for work or prefer a quieter part of London. It’s not as lively as central areas like Soho or Shoreditch, but transport links are excellent, so getting around isn’t an issue. On the downside, the lifts were occasionally slow, especially during busy hours, and the breakfast area could feel crowded. The breakfast itself was decent, though not particularly memorable. Overall, Novotel London Canary Wharf offers a reliable, comfortable stay with great views and solid amenities. It may not feel ultra-luxurious, but it delivers good value and a pleasant experience in one of London’s most modern districts.

GGuest UserMe and my partner stayed at Wilde Aparthotel Royal Bridge for 3 nights. The staff were really friendly upon arrival and even gave us an upgraded room. The entrance to the hotel is smart and the lobby is a good vibe. The room was really spacious and had great facilities such as a dishwasher and hob, things you would never get in a hotel room. The bathroom was small but stull a good size for 2 people. The bed was super comfy and despite being in Central London, there was little noise from outside. The blackout blinds fitted were brilliant at keeping light out in the mornings too. My only negative comment would be the cleanliness of the floors. The whole room was clean except the floors, and despite room service coming in to clean it again after mentioning it to the reception, it still wasn't clean afterwards and we came out with very mucky socks. The reception were very apologetic about the matter however. Would recommend to anyone wanting more space than a hotel.

JJane StaceyI have stayed at the Dilly on numerous occasions and never been disappointed. But this time, unfortunately, it didn’t quite tick all the boxes for me. I booked the Dilly because it was my daughter‘s birthday while we were staying and on previous occasions I had stayed for my own birthday and a friends . The Dilly always made it feel special. I did email the hotel and informed them it was my daughter’s birthday plus when we checked in and left our bags earlier that morning on arrival, we was asked was it for any occasion and I told the reception staff that it was for my daughter’s birthday. We arrived earlier than check-in and the room was not ready which we didn’t expect it to be. We just wanted to leave the cases which wasn’t a problem. We was told that we would be priority when a room was ready and would contacted us when it was available, which was great. But we intended on going shopping anyway so that wasn’t a problem at all. We were willing to wait till 3 o’clock for the check-in time anyway. We never got a call to say that the room was ready but we came back to the hotel around 3:30. We were allocated a room on the second floor. I had booked a superior King. The room was nice. It was just on the same hallway as the dining room. When we entered the room, I must admit I expected it to have some recognition of my daughter‘s birthday. Normally they write on the mirrors with some fruit and chocolate treats but there was nothing at all. I did go down to reception without my daughter, knowing because obviously she was unaware as she had not stayed at the Dilly before and I had a word with reception to see if they had stopped recognising when you were celebrating a special occasion. The lady said had I not informed them that it was her birthday to customer Relations which I told her I had and she said leave it with me and she would sort it out and asked when her birthday was , which was the next day. True to her word when we got back to the room the day after it was all trimmed up with sweet treats bottle of Prosecco and balloons on the bed which was amazing and i was so happy that Dilly had done and more than I expected in the first place. I rang reception straight where to thank them for what they had provided for my daughter’s birthday and the recognition of the lady that had done it for her. Reception told me that there was no one from custom Relations on that evening but they would pass the message on in the morning. Later to that evening. I had a phone call from reception, from lady saying that she was customer Relations and asking me if I wanted the room trimming up and it would be £90 for my daughter‘s birthday! I was most confused and said the Room had already been trimmed up! She told me she was just reading her emails about me requesting the room to be trimmed and that they charge £90 for it and I said to her I’d never ask for the room to be trimmed. I just had said it was my daughter‘s birthday and even if I had it would be a bit late to be ringing me at 6:40 at night on the day of their birthday to see if I wanted it trimming up it really just didn’t make sense to me at all which I told us or too. She told me that I wouldn’t be charged for the decorations that had already been done and rightly so as that’s not what I had requested and I’m not going to lie it did spoil what they had provided. When I booked the Dilly Hotel this time I didn’t actually book it through their website. I booked it through another company and didn’t realise that it was having renovations done. If I had I maybe would not have booked it to be honest. Although it didn’t massively impact our holiday as you are not in your hotel all the time. It was in the main reception and our room was on the second floor not only was it noisy because of the location near the dining room people walk past and being loud from early in the morning there was also noise from the works that was being done. With exception of the staff on arrival I found the r

GGuest UserDelux - NOT After booking apprehensive about traffic noise from the busy main road. Nothing got through the sound-proofed windows, except the occasional sirens. So far so good. Even though I set the air circulation on, set it down to its lowest setting of 17C, nothing changed and the room remained all stay uncomfortable and warm. The raised bedroom was even hotter so I had to sleep without any duvet., The worst was the size of the room. There was 150cm x 180cm rectangle where you might just swing a cat, with 2P sofa to one longside and a 40cm shelf table to the other, full of the welcome kit, no room to put anywhere else and no room for you to use. Al the other floorspae was =taken up by access. Yes there was a small cupboard for clothes for maybe a couple of nights, not even room to put a suitcase. The bed platform was even worse with just a narrow 30cm passage to either side. Then there was the spiral steps up to the bed platform, steep and very narrow probably 40cm widew, inaccessible should you have a wide girth or are not agile. Yes the breakfast and items across all the expected breakfast buffet range, but uninspired quality, powered scrambled egg, no fried egg, didnt ask for a boiled egg, so disenchanted with the whole deal. Before parting with any money make sure that you get a copy of the floor plans there are several odd and small sized rooms, then make sure your room is not either 103 wew were unfortunate to get or its twin 106. Otherwise the interior was clean, modern still reasonably fresh and the staff responsive. Just our room, sold as delux was not, even if you did not want to swing a cat, not even for if sold as a single.

LLiyaniuThe room was incredibly small! I couldn't believe how tiny 10 square meters felt. I was genuinely shocked when I opened the door. It was even difficult to open my luggage. The table was pathetically small, and there wasn't even a chair. Storage space was extremely limited. The bathroom was even tinier, comparable to an airplane lavatory. Overall, my stay was very uncomfortable. The only positives were the comfortable bed and the breakfast, which at least offered some variety. After a difficult two nights, I decisively moved to the Hilton across the street, and the experience was significantly better. What baffles me is that this place was even more expensive than the Hilton. On the whole, dining and getting around were very convenient, with various UCL colleges in the vicinity. There's a Nero Cafe right next door, so if you don't want the hotel breakfast, you can grab something there. Heading south down the street, you'll find quite a few Chinese restaurants, which is very handy.

MM.AshalThe reception team were friendly at check in, and I was given a beautiful tin of truffles and some drinks vouchers (maybe as a diamond member?). This was really a special touch and appreciated. However the room itself wasn’t great. I’ve stayed in quite a few London hotels so know you don’t get lots of space and for 1 night you don’t need much, but this room was so small it was a struggle to move about. The air conditioning was on but it was weak. Thankfully the window opened slightly but it remained warm in the room. Bathroom was dated, quite small and felt cheap. Minor point but the pillows and duvet didn’t feel like the usual Hilton ones, they seemed thicker… Overall, it was clean, relatively quiet and had great service which is all that’s really needed, but it felt more of a budget hotel with Hilton price tag. I do think they are doing everything they can to make stays as good as possible, since they can’t really do anything about the room sizes.

GGuest UserHotel is a bit dated but it’s clean in general. We had the buffet breakfast and it was good value and have variety of food and drinks. Staff were very helpful and we felt so welcoming. We parked our car at the hotel car park overnight, we didn’t book directly with them but with APOCA as it’s cheaper. Would be better if there’s a barrier or security guard on site. Also if there’s charging port for electric cars, but there’s a Tesco nearby which is about 8 minutes drive, they have fast charger so you can shop while your car is being charged. Great location; The hotel is just outside the congestion zone and 5 minutes walk to the nearest underground station and high street shops too.

YYourTravelBudLocation was really convenient from the tube. Room and bathroom was really small, though it’s common for London. I got a room on the 5th floor which was quite a hassle if you have a large luggage. Multiple stairs even after taking the lift. But overall a pleasant stay, close to Hyde park and lots of food around.
