Ladies' Private Room
nnystIt was the most impressive accommodation to rest and live in this trip for me. The price is reasonable. Staff/ owner is very helpful and kind. She introduced me about her own place even I arrived hostel quite late. Her decoration and facility is superb. The kitchen has a lot of stuffs that traveler will be need. It feels like living at home but in the hostel. Location is good to locate near the tram. Also, common room, roof top, the bathroom are nice to rest. The private room (bedroom) is not too small - too big but it was very cozy to stay and manage your stuffs. I can do a little morning stretching in there. Love it! highly recommended for girls and other travellers 💗

Location of this hotel is good with close distance to nearby shopping malls and Kumamoto Castle. General cleanliness of the room is good except that the air filter of the inner ventilation system needs “deep” cleaning. Services of staff are good and I highly recommend for all of you looking for a value-for-money hotel in Kumamoto city centre.

Loved the Kumamon themed room! They even included free Kumamon gifts. Friendly staff, although check in took a long time. Nice selection of amenities. Close to Sakuramachi mall, tram and bus stops. Would stay here again.

ez62Although they have a private carpark by side of the hotel, there was a parking fee charge of 2,000yen. But you're guaranteed a parking spot if you come back later at night. There are more parking lots in the multi storey carpark by side of the hotel. The hotel is very clean and I think it's relatively new. The front desk reception was very friendly n helpful. They also have a guest lounge on the ground floor next to the reception. Free flow of coffee and soft drinks plus some alcohol choices like sparkling wine. The lounge is open to hotel guests from 3pm to 11pm. They also provide coffee to go. The first 2 pictures is the view from our room. Across the highway from the hotel there's a Daisy & an Aeon supermarket. Very convenient to grab some food n light groceries. It's a good location to be in. I'll definitely be coming back to this hotel.

Superb location! The room and bathroom are massive—way bigger than your typical business hotel. Breakfast was solid, and I got a lucky room with a view of Kumamoto Castle! Just a heads-up though: if you’re driving, it’s a hassle. You have to park in a separate building a block away.

I honestly do not know where to start, I booked the hotel without really knowing much about Kumamoto Prefecture. After arriving in Kumamoto City and then realising Ueki Onsen is another 40 minute bus ride I was thinking oh dear where am I staying. After arriving at the hotel I was greeted by the manager of the hotel who showed me to my room and gave me a tour of the facilities. Once settled in I realised there isn't great public transport around and I primarily wanted to see Beppu and Yufuin during my stay, I enquired with the manager on where I might be able to rent a car, with little to no Japanese language under my belt he took it upon himself to reserve a vehicle for me and offered to drive me himself to collect it. He then also said he would take me back to return it a few days later. After my trips to Beppu and Yufui village (Not to be missed) and not to miss the outstanding and beautiful surroundings in Uekimachi and the Aso region. The manager and I set off to return my hire car, on the way back he took me to Kikuchi shrine to pray and also gifted me coffee and cake. They also accommodated me with use of the on site onsen (amazing) after hours as I'm heavily tattooed. I feel truly grateful to have found this hidden gem of rural Japan and if you are thinking of traveling this great country I emplore you to go off the beaten path. I experienced untold kindness during my stay and have memories of a life time. Thank you so much guys
