"Location in city center. Short walk to The Store. Opposite the famous Pusing Seafoid restaurant. Basement car park is provided. Ample oarking space. Room and beds are comfortable. Floor is a bit dusty. SK Magic water dispenser is provided at the lobby. Nice and cosy lobby. Carpet needs to be vacuumed properly. Breakfast is good. Wide variety. Super value! Highly recommended."

"We stayed here 8 years ago, when the hotel was formerly named The Shyuen. AC Marriot really takes it to the next level, when contemporary and modern meets as one. I am going to rate it based on the category: Room (5/5) The room size is neat, not too big, not too small. Comfortable for our little family. Hotel Lobby (4/5) Feeling relaxed and contented. It's just a bit awkward when there are too many stairs to go up and down a lot. Maybe. Facilities (3/5) The pool was great. The gym was also good. Loved the site of the penthouse and pavilion with the decorating landscape of the garden wedding theme. Some of the facilities are also not yet open due to being under construction. Parking (4/5) It can be quite challenging, especially reaching the turning ramp to the basement level. Hospitality (3/5) There are pros and cons here. Praised to Ms. Jagjeet for attending us throughout the pre checkin process. I called her to confirm and request the two rooms to be side by side, and also got windows. She briefed us smoothly. Only that time when we reached the hotel for checked in. Ms Yi Ying attended us at the counter. She said the deposit amounted to RM400 to be paid by card and continued saying the deposit would be returned directly after checking out the hotel. But after checking out, they say they would have to wait for 7 to 14 days period. We called the manager and they said to comeback to us soon."

"Great hotel. Good cleanliness with good amenities. There is a coomon area for the public to use. Oven, electric kettles, plates and utensils, refrigerator are all provided. The public area cleanliness is supprisingly well maintained. Bedrooms and toilets are upto the normal standard. Opposite the hotel (walkable distance ~50m), there is an uncle Don cafe dining in."

"Lokasi mmg sgt strategik if nak ronda2 kawasan Concubine Lane, Funtasy Trick, 22 Hale Street Museum, Platform Half, Gabriel Cafe, Pekan Lama Cafe dll. Just around the corner sahaja. Mike Pizza, Rojak Padang, Nasi Ayam Taugeh dan lain lain. Untuk mereka yg travel gunakan train n bus, sesuai sgt. If nak travel ke Tasik Cermin, Gunung Lang bagai, kena ada transport sendiri. The staff is friendly. Ada cerek letrik, tapi kena beli 3in1 kalau tgh malam rasa nak minum. Malam, mmg x der apa lah. Kalau nak g Gerbang Malam, boleh je jalan kaki dlm 27 mins kalau rasa larat la. But for my family, kami rela jalan kaki walau jauh. Dpt menikmati view malam yg kosong dan view siang yg menyesakkan. Kami stay at family room with double queen bed. Walau bilik sedikit sempit but still comfortable. Bukan nak duduk bilik sepanjang masa right? Bilik air luas sgt, boleh masuk la 5/6 orang dalam tu. Keadaan bau tu, bg kami ok je ala2 macam bau lama, bangunan lama. Especially kat lif. Dlm bilik x dak bau yg kurang menyenangkan. Selesa. Iron, disediakan depan lif. Yes, hotel ni ada lif. Bg yg x larat nak angkut beg beso naik turun tangga, jgn risau. Ada lif sedia tuk digunakan. Ada juga water dispenser kat dapur kalau malas nak masak air dlm bilik. Belakang bangunan ada medan selera. Pagi boleh la lapik perut sbelum gerak ronda tuk food hunting yg sebenar. Ada jam beso yg cukup time berbunyi. Nak jalan ke ets amik masa dlm 15-20 mins. Kalau dr stesen bas Jalan Bendahara, dalam 27 mins. We prefer berjalan je semua. Baru feel ala2 tourist di negara sendiri."

"I stayed at this new hotel in Ipoh for two nights. It’s located just behind the AC Hotel and directly opposite Ipoh Parade, making it a very strategic and convenient spot. All the popular eateries are within a 15-minute walking distance. The room is spacious, more like a studio; very clean, and pleasantly quiet. For a one- to two-person stay, it truly feels more like a home than a hotel. The staff are friendly. While there doesn’t seem to be regular room service or housekeeping, you can request assistance at the counter. Overall, highly recommended!"
