Good point: all clean, toilet clean, good water pressure in bathroom, nearby 7e
Bad experience : old pillow & bad experience on the body massage. Don't know if the massage place beside the hotel lobby owned by the hotel but they put the advertisement for it on receptionist counter & in the hotel rooms too. My 3days trip was for leisure & food & Thai massage so I was really excited to get body massage, & that's why I booked this hotel bcs near massage place. But get bad experience. The lady that massage me was not gentle, I got bruised skin & ache, she keep gossiping with staff that massage the person beside me & I can't relax. I checked-in hotel at 2200pm then I went down again for a massage bcs I planned to get a massage everyday for my trip (yea, I was really excited for the massage, even at night & tired bcs just arrive but still I want body massage). I told the lady to be gentle & not press hard when massage bcs I'm in pain, but she argued that I was in pain bcs I refused to upgrade the massage with using oil (have to add certain amount, can't remember). I said to her that before this like 20 times I've been getting Thai massage for over 10 years already & I never in pain. I said that she pressed too hard & not gentle & I showed her the pressure that I want by squeezed her hand. She said that I was stingy bcs don't want to upgrade to using oil. I said that it's not about money, but I don't like oil massage & it's never been a problem before at other place. After that she slow her pressure when massage but she keep talking with her friend & sometime can feel she doesn't seriously massage me. Bcs of that bad 1 hour massages, I can't go to massage everyday like I initially planned bcs the lingering pain is still there. Even now I'm back home, the pain & bruise still there.
To summarise, the room is okay bcs my checklist for good hotel room is short (clean & good water pressure) but please get full body massage elsewhere. I don't want anyone else to feel traumatised like me bcs Thai body massage is really good, just find other place to get massage, not at this hotel.

I traveled solo to Bangkok this time and chose this hotel, which left a very deep impression on me. I'm taking the time on my last night here to write this review:
First off, the transportation is incredibly convenient. You can hail a ride-sharing car right outside the hotel, and it's directly connected to public transport, making it super easy to get to major shopping districts and attractions. No worries about getting around at all.
The dining was excellent. The complimentary breakfast and the executive lounge's happy hour snacks were not only delicious but also offered a wide variety of choices.
The staff were all very friendly, always smiling, and more than happy to help.
I also experienced the hotel's spa service twice. Although it was a bit pricier than outside options, the environment was exceptionally beautiful and the service was very attentive. It was definitely a worthwhile and relaxing experience. It's a shame I didn't bring my swimsuit, so I couldn't use the hotel's rooftop pool.
Regarding the room facilities, the room was very clean, tidy, and spacious, with excellent amenities. What surprised me most was being able to communicate directly with staff via the hotel app and even book room service online. It felt very high-tech and convenient.
Next time I come to Thailand, I'll bring my family, and I will definitely choose this place again!

The room size is suitable for one or two people. The entire building is laid out in a 'hui' (回) shape, with many rooms, and the soundproofing is decent. The bathroom facilities are a bit old but well-maintained. I've stayed here before, and it seems the lobby and elevator areas have been renovated in recent years, which gives it a more upscale feel.
There's a 5th-floor outdoor pool and a 12th-floor rooftop pool. The rooftop pool gets too much sun during the day, so it's not used much.
The housekeeping staff are very responsible and clean the rooms thoroughly every day. All the services are quite good, and explanations are clear. There's a rather large UV disinfection lamp in the corridor, which I often see in different locations, indicating it's frequently moved and used. Sometimes when returning at night, I pass by the small hall on the second floor and see staff on ladders cleaning the crevices of the high-up decorative lights. This shows their commitment to cleanliness.
The hotel's second-floor skywalk connects directly to the BTS, making it very convenient to take the train. It closes at 10 PM.

The hotel is less than a kilometer from the Airport Rail Link and Green Line BTS, about a ten-minute walk. They offer a complimentary tuk-tuk service to the station on the hour, which was very convenient when leaving.
The hotel building itself has a very traditional Thai style, which is quite unique and thoughtfully decorated. The rooms are simply furnished but relatively spacious, and the soundproofing is good. Perhaps because it's located in an alley, it was very quiet at night. The shower only has a large rain showerhead, no handheld option.
The breakfast is a simple buffet, which was sufficient for us, and it had slight variations daily. The food tasted good.
One end of the alley leads to a main road with a Lawson convenience store, and the other end is a smaller alley with several 7-Elevens and some stalls where you can get stir-fried noodles and buy fruit.
There's a small pool on the sixth floor. The water looked clean, and there's a shower nearby. They also provide free swimming rings, which is plenty for kids to enjoy.

Great Location, Comfortable Stay – But Some Room for Improvement
Stayed here with my younger sister and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and the location is excellent—just a short walk to Phaya Thai BTS and Airport Rail Link, which makes it very convenient and safe for female travelers. Coffee lovers will be happy to know there’s a fantastic coffee outlet nearby too.
One pleasant surprise was the TV—it was super easy to use! No complicated buttons; just press and it works, plus it can even be voice-activated. Very cool and convenient.
However, there are a couple of things to improve. The charging points in the room didn’t seem to work well. We left a spare key at the hotel so we could charge our power bank while we were out, but even after 6 hours, it wasn't fully charged. We had to keep switching outlets to find one that worked properly.
Also, the shower area is extremely slippery when wet. It would be great if the hotel could provide a non-slip mat, especially for the safety of elderly guests and children, as there’s a real risk of slipping.

I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, especially for solo female travelers or groups of women. Each floor has a massive mirror right by the elevator, perfect for snapping OOTD (outfit of the day) photos. The hotel's location is super convenient; it's right by the BTS (Skytrain) station, and just two stops away from Paragon, making shopping incredibly easy. The staff are also wonderful; they immediately came to help us when they saw two women struggling with large suitcases, and when we checked out, they even brought our bags all the way to the elevator entrance for the BTS! It feels very secure here – you need your key card to go up the elevator and to access the hallway on each floor, which is a big plus for safety, especially for women. The housekeeping staff are also very kind and friendly. Plus, you can take the BTS directly to Suvarnabhumi Airport, which is super convenient. All in all, I had a fantastic five-day stay here, and I'll definitely choose this perfect hotel again on my next trip to Thailand.

I wanted a convenient place to stay and decided on this since they claimed to be next to the train station.
It was absolutely true as it was just next to the train track, and was optimal convenience for transport to the airport as it was situated right next to the Airport Rail Link (ARL) at Phaya Thai.
Lobby area was super cute!
Room was spacious and was impressive at first look.
There was a huge Let's Relax next to the ARL and I tried it out on my last night.
There's also a bus stop near the main road but the frequency of their buses were erratic at most locations. Also, somehow that stretch of road had traffic jams most of the time.
Hotel is more of a boutique hotel than 4-star hotel, but most basic amenities were provided and they even offered a can of complimentary coke and sprite in the fridge on the first day. 2 little packets of snacks were also provided by daily housekeeping.
Hotel had a front and back door but both alleys were a little dark at night, although there were some eateries along the alleys.
There was a 7-11 near the main road and another just a bus stop away.
I had issues with the air-conditioning as despite adjusting to low temperature, it didn't quite reach the bed area although some parts of the room were freezing.
Contrary to other reviews, as a light sleeper, the sound of the trains didn't really reach my room but I was repeatedly annoyed by the sound of the fridge machinery/exhaust and it affected my sleep quality so much.
Generally a good stay as I intentionally picked a room with a bathtub. Would have been better if they provided complimentary bath soaking items like bath salt or bath bombs.

Pro: friendly staff, good location, room overall not bad
Cons: the mattresses are x2 single to make it as queen size, not comfy enough as the edges are a big killer, there shall have microwave available to more basic rooms as it is inconvenient to have hot food after the resto hours. The aircon should allow adjustment too
Overall was okay

Amazing
The checkin is fast and seamless and room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing deliciously with Christmas special, a wide spread to choose Thai, Japanese and Western. The Pastry is a must try for sweet tooth’s. Location is perfect, as we just to walk 10mins to both Siam Paragon or Central Embassy. BTS is right outside and if you need a prayer at Doorstep of Erawan shine. Suggest to choose a higher floor room, as it can be noisy road traffic.
BEAT. Warii Hostel at Chaophraya River is perfect for travelers seeking a modern, vibrant, and reasonably priced hostel near Bangkok’s iconic river scene. It excels in comfort, cleanliness, ambiance, and an unforgettable riverside vibe. If you value style, convenience, and social atmosphere—and don’t mind capsule living—it’s a top-notch choice. However, if walk-in accessibility or ultra-conservative guest policies are a priority, you might want to review room placement or consider alternative stays.
We were warmly greeted by the staff upon arrival, and all our luggage was promptly collected. Check-in was a breeze, thanks to a lovely receptionist who even wished me a happy birthday. Although there were no ironing facilities in our room as she initially mentioned, but the issue was quickly resolved when we called “0” and had the iron delivered to our room. We were assigned a room on the 21st floor, which is on the executive level, and we noticed the executive lounge. However we were unsure if we had access to it, as it wasn't mentioned during check-in? The hotel is conveniently located near shopping malls, Jodd fairs, and the Ganesha shrine, which made exploring the area easy. The gym facilities were excellent, the breakfast spread was average to us, and the staff in both the lobby and restaurant were friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful, especially the lobby and entrance. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a good layout. It was far from tired or old as some other reviews suggest to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the thoughtful birthday card and cake. However, there were a couple of downsides. First, there were no power plugs near the bedside table, which made it inconvenient for charging our phones. We had to use outlets above the kettle area or near the bottom of the bed. Given the master controller already installed in the room, it would be great to add USB ports by the bedside for easier charging. Secondly, we found it odd that housekeeping left a card in the morning, even though the ”Do Not Disturb” sign was on our door. We’ve stayed in many hotels worldwide, and typically, this kind of notice is left in the afternoon, usually after 3pm. We went for breakfast around 9am and returned around 10am, only to find the card under our door. To be honest, we found this a bit strange — are guests expected to leave early in the morning!? Of course, we understand we can contact you for housekeeping services, but receiving a card this early felt unnecessary. Overall, our experience was positive, and we would certainly return the next time we’re in Huai Khwang.
We had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better. Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room. The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.
The hotel staff from all the different departments were amazing, kind and helpful 👍 I definitely would recommend this hotel as it's nearby to everything.
Really enjoyed our stay here. It is off the beaten path down a few alleys, but there is a shuttle bus that can take you back-and-forth every 30 minutes or you can just call a Grab. Has a beautiful pool and a weamend only hot spring you can book with a cold plunge pool if you’re interested. I didn’t try the breakfast. Delivery is too easy and the variety is better. The hotel room came with a microwave and a refrigerator, which is extremely helpful if you’re ordering and takeout and have leftovers. Everyone was nice and friendly. I would definitely stay again.
Excellent Stay at Furama Silom – Highly Recommended! I recently stayed at Furama Silom in Bangkok, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel is in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore the city, with nearby access to public transportation and plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and great city views. The rooftop pool was a highlight, offering a stunning panoramic view of Bangkok – perfect for relaxing after a long day. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of options, both local and international, and everything was fresh and delicious. What truly made my stay exceptional was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any requests or recommendations. Their hospitality made me feel truly welcomed. Overall, Furama Silom provides excellent value for money, combining comfort, great amenities, and top-notch service. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok!
