This is my second time staying at The Quartier Hotel Phrom Phong – Thonglor, and it’s been just as pleasant as the first. It’s a lovely and quiet hotel, perfect for a restful night’s sleep in the city. The rooms are well equipped with all the essential amenities, spotlessly clean, and the bed is very comfortable. The location is also convenient, with two supermarkets just a few minutes’ walk away, which makes it easy to pick up anything you need. Overall, it’s a great choice for comfort, convenience, and a peaceful stay in the Phrom Phong – Thonglor area.

I stayed here for the first time and was very impressed! The hospitality was excellent, the room was nice, the bathtub just the right size, and the views from the 19th floor were amazing. There was a large TV and a comfortable sofa, and the workspace was also well set up. It was a great experience working while enjoying the beautiful Bangkok skyline through the windows. The location is perfect for exploring Bangkok's nightlife. However, it’s not very close to the MRT, so getting around might require using Grab or a taxi. That said, there’s a massage and onsen facility right inside the hotel, which makes it super relaxing. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely consider coming back!

Really enjoyed our stay here. It is off the beaten path down a few alleys, but there is a shuttle bus that can take you back-and-forth every 30 minutes or you can just call a Grab. Has a beautiful pool and a weamend only hot spring you can book with a cold plunge pool if you’re interested. I didn’t try the breakfast. Delivery is too easy and the variety is better. The hotel room came with a microwave and a refrigerator, which is extremely helpful if you’re ordering and takeout and have leftovers. Everyone was nice and friendly. I would definitely stay again.

Had a great Stay. Cozy and clean rooms. Service was also good. Location wise it’s not that far from any of the buzz - bonus points for the 24/7 store right underneath the residence. Highlight of my stay was the rooftop pool. Feedback — maybe update/repair some gym equipment. That would turn things up a notch. Will surely stay here again next time I visit BKK.

I had a great stay at Tribe Living Hotel Bangkok! The room was spacious, very clean, and super comfortable, with a stunning city and pool view from the 11th floor, plus, I got a free upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The bathroom was modern and well-equipped, and everything felt thoughtfully designed. The staff were friendly and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. I only had the chance to try food by the pool area, but it was delicious, and the waitress was especially kind and attentive. The gym was decent the equipment was okay for a quick workout. I booked via Trip.com and got a very good rate, which made the experience even better. The only downside: the sauna isn’t complimentary for guests you’ll need to pay around 300 THB. It would be great if hotel guests could access it for free. Other than that, everything was great. If I can get the same rate again, this will definitely be one of my top choices in Bangkok!

It was one of the best service apartment that we've stayed in bangkok. The service staffs were all very friendly and helpful. Room was great, exact the same as on hotel's website. We booked 2 room apartment, and its fully furnished with washing machine and dryer . Toiletries were all provided and the whole apartnent is very clean and new. Less variety of breakfast buffet but all taste good. There's 7/11, mcdonald, local supernarket and eateries around the area. The only setback is apartment is not within walking distance to bts, but complimentary tuk tuk is available from 7am-7pm. We'll definitely be back to stay again.

KKafeijingjingOut of the three 5-star hotels on this street, I personally think this one offers the best value for money. I have to commend their laundry service; if you drop it off before 9 AM, it's ready by 5 PM, which is quite fast. All the staff provide service with a smile and speak softly, though I didn't encounter any Chinese-speaking staff. It might be because I was consistently speaking English. The staff are all very experienced and accurately anticipate guests' needs. I noticed many Chinese guests who weren't fluent in English could simply gesture, and the staff generally understood them.

GGuest UserThis is the most complete hostel I've ever been to. There are six floors with several balconies and all of it remains spotless. The common areas are awesome. The river view is amazing I look forward to seeing the fireworks on the river every time. The staff are friendly and accomodating and there are more than enough bathrooms and showers for everybody here. I don't have anything to complain about, I like it a lot here

GGuest UserI was quite anxious when I arrived, as many reviews mentioned the hotel being old and dated. However, after staying for three days, I have to commend this hotel! 1. The lobby is opulent, and 'rich and varied' doesn't even begin to describe the spread at breakfast. 2. The service is exceptional; they are basically ready to help with anything you need. There's always someone to open the door when you enter the lobby, and the front desk and room service are fantastic! When I checked out, they helped me book a taxi to the airport, which was cheaper than both Grab and Trip.com, costing only 500 Thai Baht (to Don Mueang Airport). 3. The gym is huge, easily over 400 square meters, with all sorts of equipment and dedicated staff. I didn't get to use the pool, but there were lots of kids enjoying it. 4. The hotel's location is convenient, right next to an MRT station. Although it's about 6-7km from the main tourist attractions, for this price, service, and facilities, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Book with confidence! In the evenings, there's a night market nearby, mostly frequented by locals, offering great value for money. If you turn right outside, there's a 'Chinatown' street with all kinds of delicious food.

GGuest UserI booked a river view room, and the view was absolutely stunning, offering a panoramic sight of the Chao Phraya River's nightscape. The room was clean and tidied daily. Breakfast was a generous spread. Walking out and turning right, it's about a 5-minute stroll to Asiatique The Riverfront. From 10 AM to 8 PM, there's a boat service every hour from the hotel to the Central Pier. From there, you can take another boat for 10 Baht per person directly to ICONSIAM on the opposite bank. For 600 baht a night including breakfast, the value for money is really good.

GGarreth HuntBangkok was the last stop on our trip to Thailand and we booked this hotel as a treat to end our trip given it's 5 star status. We were left very disappointed...
The lobby is lovely and is indicative of a high end hotel but that's where it ended unfortunately. The rooms are 3 star at best. We had booked a room with a balcony specifically but the initial room we were given didn't have one. The staff were very helpful and moved us to another room with a balcony, however the balcony was surrounded by fans so we had limited views. We were offered another room on our second day with a better balcony but the room itself was smaller so we opted to stay where we were. From what we could see, none of the balconies are great so I would avoid paying the extra for rooms with them.
The pool is cold and in need of some work, the grout is coming away in many areas creating sharp edges in spots. Also not 5 star quality.
Breakfast was the nicest setup and offering we had seen in Thailand.

EExpat EDventuresWe had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch.
John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better.
Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room.
The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

There's also a connected walkway from the second floor of the adjacent EmSphere mall, so you don't have to walk in the sun. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of food, entertainment, supermarkets, convenience stores, massage places, and malls – very convenient. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to Asok station and Terminal 21. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities and decor are a bit dated, but it's generally clean and tidy, and the service is warm and friendly.

Cons
The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation.
The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are.
A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened.
There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only.
The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable.
There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened.
The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone.
The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove.
Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling.

В номере нет чая и кофе, несмотря на то, что на фотографиях присутствует кофемашина. Чай можно взять на ресепшене в дневное время.
Кондиционер шумный, работает без переносного пульта, управление осуществляется с настенного блока с ограниченным количеством режимов. Даже на минимальном режиме шум заметный.
В туалете нет вытяжки, после душа пар остаётся в комнате, уходит только при открытой двери.
Телевизор показывает только тайские каналы, Smart TV отсутствует, подключение телефона невозможно.
Кухонная зона оборудована раковиной, шкафчиками и посудой, но нефункциональна из-за отсутствия плиты.
Из-за общего износа поверхностей номер визуально выглядит неаккуратно, несмотря на уборку.

NNari.I recently spent several nights at the Furama Silom Hotel in Bangkok, and if you are looking for a blend of convenience, space, and local flavor, this property is a solid contender. Located on the bustling Silom Road, the hotel stands as a prominent choice for both leisure travelers and business professionals who want to be in the thick of Bangkok’s financial and nightlife district.
Spacious Living in a Prime Location
The first thing that struck me about Furama Silom is the sheer size of the rooms. In a city where many modern hotels are trending toward compact ”minimalist” spaces, Furama offers an expansive environment. My room was bright, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that provided a fantastic view of the city skyline. The inclusion of a kitchenette was a thoughtful touch, making it feel more like an apartment than a standard hotel room.
The location is undoubtedly the hotel's strongest selling point. It is roughly a 10-minute walk to both the Saint Louis and Chong Nonsi BTS stations, making the rest of the city easily accessible. For those who enjoy exploring on foot, the famous Patpong Night Market, the historic Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, and a plethora of local street food stalls and 7-Eleven stores are just a short stroll away.
Rooftop Relaxation and Dining
The highlight of the stay was the rooftop swimming pool on the 20th floor. It offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of Bangkok, which is particularly breathtaking at sunset. There is also a poolside bar where you can unwind with a cocktail after a long day of sightseeing.
Regarding the breakfast buffet, it served a decent variety of Western and Asian dishes. While the menu stayed relatively consistent each day, the quality was good, and the dining area provided a welcoming atmosphere to start the morning.
