"This is my second night at Lanson place. After the great experience in the first night, I decided to cancel another reservation and extended the stay here. This time, I book a room with Lanson club (executive lounge) access to have a try. Frankly, the extra cost does not really proved to be worth. While the staff are polite, friendly and helpful as always, there are very limited food and beverage options in the lounge (compared to other hotels' lounges that I have experienced). The view from the lunge is also limited (see the photo). The food option such as the breakfast in the photo is quite limited as well. It occurs to me that Lanson Place could be a good option for the regular rooms but not the executive ones. Perhaps the in-room W/D would something that I appreciate, but it is definitely not worth the much higher cost. I'll stay in a regular room in Lanson next time."

"I stayed in the Belmont, it was not for my first stay but was the worst I experienced. Green Flashing Strobe Light from celling made it difficult to sleep. The staff response was slow and inconvenient when its a known issue and there is a cover that can be applied to stop the strobing of the smoke alarm light in the room. It caused me to have really terrible sleep. was directly above my face and was bright enough to see the flash when eyes are closed. The breakfast was ok Bacon has run out and by the time I had finished eating more come out was not great. I also noted the hot water too ages to come on and I thought for almost 1-2 minutes I was going to be having a cold shower, but it did eventually come hot. What was most frustrating is the hotel manager just saying sorry. like the apology was adequate. I was offered also an upgrade and reduced rate for my next stay, but who knows when this will be. Wasn't the best experience and this is one of the most expensive hotels in terminal 3 and or close to casino and airport. I'm sure there are better value options."

"Terrible experience during a late night check-in around 10:30 PM. Despite multiple staff members standing behind the desk, only two were actively assisting guests, leading to an unnecessary delay. Things went downhill fast once I got to my room. It smelled heavily of fresh paint. It was so strong it felt toxic and unsafe to stay in. When I called down, staff initially tried to brush it off by saying they were fully booked as if being at capacity excuses giving a guest an uninhabitable room. I went straight back down to the desk to insist on a change. They knew full well there was an issue as they called their duty manager in front of me at check-in if they could release the out of service room. I was given a second room. Unfortunately, this new room was no better. It smelled damp and moldy, clearly needing far more attention with cleaning and maintenance. To top it off, the towels were stained and still had hair on them from previous guests. Walkway from the entrance was very sticky. After just a few hours of dealing with these unacceptable conditions, I decided to cut my losses and leave the property entirely. Releasing unsafe rooms and providing dirty linens is completely unacceptable. I will not be coming back, there are much better options around. No apologies and no urgency from the staff."

Getting to & around Pasay

Ninoy Aquino Airport (NAIA) is where you’ll land if you’re flying to Pasay. Terminals 1 and 3 are the main ones, and while it's not the world's smoothest airport experience, just grab an official yellow taxi or book a Grab to avoid getting scammed.

It's basically Manila's neighbor, just 5km south of the main tourist areas like Intramuros. The city's pretty small but packed with stuff - you can walk some places, but for anything further, jeepneys run along EDSA and Roxas Blvd, though Grab is way more comfortable if you're not used to Manila's chaotic public transport.
