Romantic Hotels in Wuhan

"I first stayed at Shuiyunlan the year it opened, three times in a row, because I was handling some business in Wuhan. I've had it saved ever since. This time, when I traveled to Wuhan with a few friends, I chose to stay here again. The hotel's location is excellent – very close to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, many famous snack shops, and also to Jiangtan, Jianghan Guan, and the ferry terminal. They now even offer coffee and small pastries in the lobby. The service is, as always, outstanding; everyone is diligent and dedicated. This consistently high level of service is something you rarely see in other hotels. I've visited Wuhan countless times, and my friends thoroughly enjoyed this trip, which is important! Keep up the great work!"

"The hotel is nice and worth the price. The room was same as shown in the official photos. It’s centrally located in the Jianghan Street Market, so everything is nearby—from dining and shopping to sightseeing spots. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the hotel is on the third floor and there is no elevator. Everything else is perfect"

"Service: The service was excellent. On the day of my arrival, it was past midnight and pouring rain. I called the hotel, and they sent someone downstairs with an umbrella. I also requested earplugs due to noise issues, and the front desk manager was very helpful. Environment: The soundproofing is terrible; I could hear people coughing, showering, and flushing toilets in the next room even in the middle of the night. The curtains also don't block out light effectively. Food delivery is dropped off at B1, and you need to contact the front desk to retrieve it. To get to the hotel, you have to take an elevator to the 41st-floor lobby to transfer. However, without a key card, you can't enter the ground floor of the building, and property management will verify before opening the door, which was an unnecessary hassle and quite inconvenient. Facilities: The windows in the room couldn't be fully opened, likely for safety reasons, but this resulted in poor ventilation. There's no late-night congee, but the view is truly excellent."

"As a state guesthouse, the environment is truly unbeatable. Surrounded by deep woods and birdsong, it's a serene and tranquil place. The hotel is built around East Lake, so the air quality is excellent. The breakfast is also very abundant, offering all the characteristic Wuhan breakfast dishes, catering to both Eastern and Western tastes. However, a downside of such a great ecological environment is the sheer number of mosquitoes; even with long pants and long sleeves, I still got several bites. Furthermore, the facilities in the room are quite outdated, and there are very few charging outlets. I'd like to specially commend Master Wang, the driver of the electric cart. He drove us around the entire guesthouse, providing a very detailed explanation, and even picked the best spots to help us take photos. The service staff at this state guesthouse consistently demonstrates superior political awareness and service quality."

"This hotel is a 5-minute walk from the subway station, located on a commercial street close to the Yangtze River, offering river views. Right outside the hotel is a classic spot for Wuhan's New Year's Eve countdown, attracting many visitors. The hotel is housed in a century-old building, featuring a distinctive Republic of China-era design that's perfect for those who love taking photos. On the day I checked in, I even saw a short drama film crew. The staff were all very nice, and they even prepared local Wuhan specialties as a farewell gift when I checked out, which was a very thoughtful touch."

"The environment is fantastic, and the floor-to-ceiling windows are beautiful. Sitting by the window, enjoying the view and eating is truly delightful. It's also very close to the attractions we visited. The room even has a large bathtub, and a washing machine, microwave, and umbrella are all provided. The host's service is exceptional; they respond to messages very quickly. We initially had trouble with the washing machine, and after messaging them, the cleaning lady came over right away. The host also thoughtfully sent us a Wuhan travel guide, which was incredibly considerate!!!"

"I had a layover in Wuhan for a night on a business trip and blindly picked this hotel because the price was right. I didn't have high expectations for this price point, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good my stay was! Turns out, it's part of the international hotel brand Radisson. The breakfast hours were a pleasant surprise: 7 AM to 12 PM. No need to rush in the morning, and there was a wide variety of food, including freshly cooked noodles, as well as the usual hotel breakfast items like bread, fruit, salad, coffee machines, some Chinese pastries, and hot Chinese dishes. The room amenities were perfect for my personal needs. There was a washer-dryer combo, and they even provided laundry pods – anyone who travels for business knows how great it is to be able to do laundry in your room without waiting in line at the hotel laundry room! The room also had a standard-sized refrigerator (not one of those tiny ones), a Dyson hairdryer, and a wardrobe with bathrobes and a steam iron! Even the toiletries were Malin+Goetz! This is the first time I've stayed in a hotel for around 300 yuan a night that offered all these amenities. Are hotels in Wuhan all this competitive, haha? The bedding was quite comfortable (I personally prefer softer beds and pillows). The staff service was also good; they even delivered takeout to the room (it seemed like there was a staff member specifically helping guests and delivery drivers with the elevator at the entrance). Overall, the stay exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time I'm in Wuhan.
