The Shuiyunlan Hotel, Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, Wuhan is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Shuiyunlan Hotel, Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, Wuhan offers a pleasant stay in Wuhan for those traveling for business or leisure. The hotel is only 8km from Hankou Railway Station and 27km from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. In addition, Jianghan Road Metro Station is just a short walk away. With multiple attractions nearby including Lihuangpi Road, TOUR BUS-SIGHTSEEING TOUR OF WUHAN and Hankou Historical and Cultural District, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"Our family trip to Wuhan brought an unexpected and delightful surprise: this truly hidden gem of a hotel. Initially, we booked it last minute, quite prepared to switch accommodations if it didn't meet our expectations. Little did we know, the stay far exceeded anything we imagined, so much so that we extended our stay for three more days, reluctant to leave so soon. The hotel's location is perfect. Nestled in a bustling area of Hankou, it somehow maintains a serene tranquility. A subway station is right outside, offering convenient access to all parts of the city. It was incredibly easy to walk to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, the Yangtze River beachfront, the artsy old streets of Li Huangpi Road, and the retro alleys of Xian'anfang. Whether we were heading to Yellow Crane Tower, Hubei Provincial Museum, or taking the subway to transfer to the Optics Valley Skyrail, our entire itinerary was smooth and stress-free, saving us a lot of travel time and making our trip with the kids exceptionally relaxed. What truly impressed us wasn't just the location, but the hotel's meticulous and warm service, from top to bottom. No matter how late we returned from our excursions, the front desk staff always greeted us with a gentle smile and a polite, warm demeanor. The catering staff in the buffet restaurant constantly monitored the food supply, replenishing dishes as soon as they were empty. The food was abundant and fresh, never appearing depleted or carelessly prepared. The housekeeping aunties were genuinely warm and sincere, showing kindness in every small detail. Wuhan in summer is scorching hot, with oppressive heat everywhere. Yet, the thoughtful details throughout this hotel made our family feel completely at home in this 'furnace city,' truly experiencing the warmth of hospitality. They proactively offered guests exclusive member discounts for extended stays, which was incredibly practical and thoughtful. The air conditioning was turned on in our room beforehand, so we were greeted with a cool oasis upon entering. Complimentary bottled water and portable energy packs were provided. There was even a handwritten, heartfelt note in the room, every word chosen with care. These little things continuously filled our trip with warmth and感動 (a sense of being deeply moved). After several days of travel, we weren't just captivated by Wuhan's vibrant streetscapes but also deeply touched by the dedicated and passionate spirit of the staff here. Such thoughtful, meticulous, and attentive service is undoubtedly the result of the hotel management team's consistent training and rigorous refinement. While few jobs last a lifetime, the sense of responsibility, warmth, and patience learned in this role will become a valuable asset in their future lives. This trip allowed us to see stunning landscapes, experience the city's pulse, and gain unique life insights. We felt a strong sense of reluctance to leave, lingering over the scenery of Wuhan, this river city, and even more so over the unexpected warmth we encountered on this journey."

"The location is good, with a mall downstairs and a snack street across the road. Traffic was very congested during the summer holiday due to road construction. The front desk staff were okay, but I don't understand why extending my stay for one night would cost an extra 300. I ended up booking through a platform, getting a river view room which was actually better, included breakfast, and was tens of dollars cheaper. I asked the front desk if they could just extend my stay in the same room to save me the hassle of changing, but they said no. So I packed my bags, and right after I got upstairs, they called to say they agreed to extend my stay. They asked for a good review, but personally, I believe genuine service trumps everything. I hope the hotel improves."

"Absolutely fantastic! It's so clean and bright, with all the amenities you could ask for. I especially loved the projector, and the bathtub was a close second! All the tissues and toiletries provided are single-use, and I was so surprised they even had bath towels and toilet seat covers – and the tissues were still sealed! It felt incredibly clean and hygienic, with amazing attention to detail. The owner and house manager were also super thoughtful and attentive; they proactively asked if I wanted housekeeping, but only emptied the trash without touching my personal belongings. Security was great too, with a coded main door and an extra lock from the inside. The lake view is stunning! My two-night stay was incredibly relaxing. This was my first time staying at a guesthouse, and it was a superb experience!"

"We chose this hotel for our family trip, and the stay far exceeded our expectations, especially thanks to Xiao Cheng at the front desk. We had pre-booked a family queen room, and at check-in, due to a room allocation adjustment, Xiao Cheng, upon learning we were traveling with two young children, proactively offered a free upgrade to a family bunk bed suite without any extra charge, which was a delightful surprise. The layout of this family suite was very practical, with a queen bed for adults and bunk beds for the kids. The children were incredibly excited to see the bunk beds and had a blast climbing up and down. The room was equipped with special toiletries for children, anti-slip slippers, and even had corner protectors, showing great attention to detail. The overall space was open, with the living area large enough to comfortably place our luggage, allowing adults to relax and children to play without disturbing each other in the evening. The window didn't face the main road, so it was very quiet at night, ensuring a good night's sleep. Xiao Cheng handled the check-in process efficiently, thoughtfully explained the suite's amenities, and provided genuinely sincere service throughout. Traveling with kids can be stressful, and this thoughtful upgrade saved us the cost of booking a separate family room, while the room's comfort was excellent. Both the service and the room type are very suitable for family travel. If we visit this area again with family, this will definitely be our first choice."

East Lake Hotel is located in Wuchang, the urban center of Wuhan, near the Chu River and Han Street. Due to its convenient location, plenty of tourist attractions are located around the hotel, including the Yellow Crane Tower, East Lake and the banks of the Yangtze River, all just 20 minutes away by car. Guests are also just a ten-minute drive away from the Wuchang Railway Station. This Wuhan hotel has been around for more than half a century, but was closed for renovations between 2006 and 2010.Diners can enjoy a meal at the health-focused Zheng Yuan Chinese Restaurant or try food at the Guobin Western Restaurant. The hotel also offers a Taiwanese restaurant and a Western-style bakery.Guests looking to stay active can work out in the hotel gym, challenge a friend to a game of tennis or table tennis as well as cool off in the indoor swimming pool.

"Leaving the beautiful East Lake Hotel, I felt a deep sense of reluctance. I chose to stay here because my father, during his time in the air force, often arranged recuperation stays here, and I wanted to retrace his steps. To my surprise, this place offered so many wonderful surprises. Here are a few things that left a lasting impression: **Ambiance and Service:** The room design was spacious, and the service definitely exceeded my expectations. They uphold the standards and attitudes of serving Chinese and foreign dignitaries, making you feel like a VIP. It seems they aren't chasing good reviews or KPIs; they're simply focused on making you happy. **Environment:** You absolutely have to trust Chairman Mao's aesthetic taste. The variety of animals and plants living in harmony makes the natural environment a paradise for photography enthusiasts. For regular tourists, every casual snap turns into a beautiful shot. **Exclusive Access:** This hotel is part of the beautiful East Lake Ecological Scenic Area, yet it's also the hotel's private domain. This means you can wander through a beautiful and tranquil environment. We chose to stay in the relatively new Tingtao No. 2 building. There are shuttle buggies within the park that can take you to Chairman Mao's former residence for a visit. They can also drop you off at a small gate closest to the Hubei Provincial Museum, so you just cross the road and you're there, without needing any other transportation. For your return trip, you can simply have the hotel's buggy pick you up at the entrance. If you enjoy history, the Hubei Provincial Museum offers free, rich, and fascinating collections that will make you want to visit again and again. **Peace of Mind:** The dining was clean, hygienic, and abundant. We had two breakfasts and one lunch, and there wasn't a single flaw. If you're traveling with elderly family members or young children and are worried about getting an upset stomach, choosing to dine here offers delicious and reassuring options. The quality of the breakfast 'mianwo' (a local fried savory cake) and 'youtiao' (fried dough sticks) was particularly outstanding. Such simple, everyday food was prepared so well it left a lasting impression, and even the plain boiled eggs were top-quality small, local eggs. The East Lake Hotel possesses immense charm. It truly lives up to the unique advantages of a military sanatorium's chosen location. I will definitely return."

Hotel near Chuhehan Street/East Lake/Hubei Provincial Museum,Wuhan
"The hotel's location is super convenient, with direct access to the subway from the second basement level, making getting around incredibly easy. Our room was on a high floor, very quiet with good soundproofing, and offered expansive views of the city and the beautiful Shahu Lake. The breakfast selection was rich, with plenty of Chinese and Western options. There were also many local Hubei specialties, and the Hot Dry Noodles and Xiangyang Yellow Wine were particularly authentic and delicious. Since we were a family of three, both the front desk and the breakfast manager proactively offered a complimentary breakfast for one person. Other staff members were also very service-oriented, always asking if we needed help, for example, with luggage. Overall, our stay was quite pleasant, and we'd be happy to stay here again if we have the chance! However, there were a few minor issues that, if improved, would make the experience even better: 1. During check-in, the front desk requested a deposit for incidental expenses, which caught us by surprise. It was the first time we'd encountered this situation. Even after we stated we wouldn't be using any chargeable items in the room or other hotel services, the front desk still tried to persuade us to pay the incidental deposit. Finally, seeing my obvious displeasure, they stopped insisting. This somewhat affected my first impression of the hotel. 2. The breakfast on Monday and Tuesday was almost identical. It would be better if there was more variety. 3. While there were many Hubei specialty breakfast items, the 'mian wo' (fried dough ring) was burnt but not crispy (a bit hard in texture). The dish labeled 'preserved pork and bean thread noodles' had very little preserved pork and more shredded meat; it tasted fresh but lacked the distinct aroma of preserved meat and was a bit salty and greasy. At the Hot Dry Noodles station, there were bottled chili oil and homemade chili oil, but neither had a noticeable spicy kick, which was a small disappointment."

"This hotel is located in a very busy and mixed-crowd area, with the front desk on the 8th floor. Ctrip stated check-in was at 2 PM, but I had to wait 40 minutes to finally check in. The public restrooms in the hotel don't have air conditioning. The front desk also didn't have any spare toiletries. Everything about this place was bad. I wouldn't recommend staying in Jianghan Road (it's crowded and far from the metro), and I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel. If you insist on staying in this area, I suggest choosing the Ji Hotel next door, as Huazhu Hotels Group generally offers a more reliable experience. The room facilities are old and outdated. Despite being advertised as a non-smoking hotel, my room had a strong smell of stale cigarette smoke. The soundproofing is also poor; I could hear people talking, though I couldn't tell if it was from upstairs or next door. The air conditioning was strong, but that didn't stop there from being small, milky-white, somewhat transparent flying insects in the room. Even more ridiculous, I could hear snoring from other rooms at night! The hotel lobby, on the other hand, was large and smelled good, a stark contrast to the interior of the hotel and the rooms."

If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with friends.

"Nice and affordable hotel in Wuhan, with very convenient location in the middle of a night market and walking distance to the main commercial street. The room is clean, complete with large projector tv and smart controls. There is literally a very lively night market selling food, clothes, accessories, which start at sunset and finish around midnight. This can be a plus point for those who want to discover very local night market, but can be noisy for those wanting to sleep early. Noise continues until 1am so I suggest bringing ear plugs. The entrance to the hotel unfortunately passes by the trash point of the next door bbq restaurant, so have to bear 5 seconds of smelliness everytime you go in and out of the hotel. The receptionist was very nice and suggested some good recommendations for food."
