"The hotel's location is excellent; there's a bus stop right outside with direct routes to Yantai Railway Station, Yantai Mountain Scenic Area, and more. The front desk service was even better – always available, meticulous, and made us feel at ease during our stay. Dining and shopping options are very convenient around the hotel. The room was beautifully decorated, and the two windows offered both ventilation and great views, which was delightful. The high-definition TV screen was especially comfortable to watch, which is a rare find. Overall, we were very satisfied with this stay. "This stay exceeded my expectations, and I have to give it a big shout-out. As soon as I entered the lobby, it was clean and fresh, with no strange odors, and the common areas were spotless. My first impression when I got into the room was how comfortable the environment was; the lighting and ventilation were excellent, and it was generally very quiet. The attention to detail was impressive: the bedding was soft and clean, and the mattress was just the right firmness, making for a very relaxing sleep. The bathroom facilities were well-maintained, with stable water pressure and hot water coming on quickly. The room lighting was soft, and the power outlets were conveniently located, making charging easy. The air conditioning provided smooth cooling and heating without any noise. It was clear the housekeeping team put a lot of effort into cleanliness, as there was no dust on the tabletops or corners, the toiletries were complete, and the towels were dry. All the facilities were in good working order, making for a very comfortable stay overall. It definitely offers good value for money, and I'll choose this place again next time I'm in town."

"The room comes with a smart assistant, which is quite convenient. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also plentiful. The hotel is located right in the old town, making it easy to find places to eat and shop. The restaurant recommended by the front desk was also excellent. Parking is free and there are plenty of spaces, with both ground and underground options, both very convenient. The only minor drawback is that the elevator is a bit slow, which can be annoying for impatient people, but overall, it's still pretty good."

"Atour truly enlightened my definition for a hotel. Very clean and cozy stay. Staff were amazing and super helpful (borrowed us a laptop for flight check-in, allowed us to delay check-out). Manager gave us some souvenirs as we checked out. Even the cleaner aunty greeted us every time we passed by the walkway. Thumbs up and appreciate the hospitality. Environments definitely a 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 bed, pillows, blankets all super comfy, slept really well throughout the stay. Room has good sound-proofing qualities where you can't hear the people talking outside your room or your next door. Wonderful laundry service where they help to deliver the dried clothes back to your room (just leave a message on the dryer). Will now only choose ATOUR branch for all my upcoming China trip."

Booked two sea-view suites with balconies, and they indeed had quite large balconies with beautiful views morning and night. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's kept very clean. The hotel breakfast was just okay, but filling. There was no shower enclosure in the room, and getting in and out of the bathtub was inconvenient, making me worried about slipping. The toiletries (which should be placed near the tub, otherwise you're halfway through your shower only to realize you don't have any, then have to climb out of the tub to get them from the sink drawer – that's really not practical!) lacked conditioner, which should be an easy fix! Overall, it was still a good experience, especially the location. With Yantai Mountain behind and Chaoyang Street in front, you get a panoramic view of Yantai's coastline.

Tracy was great, always ready to help with any request. We stayed in a family room with an ocean view, which was lovely. The 1.8-meter bed was spacious enough for me and my child, and there was a smaller bed for my husband. The room had a 'Frozen' theme, complete with a little doll for decoration. The best part was the bathtub – my child loves baths, though we only used it once during our three-day stay. It felt a bit wasteful that we only went to the beach once, considering we were right by the sea. The hotel is conveniently located near Chaoyang Street and Hongkousuo Ancient City; all three attractions are within walking distance from the hotel entrance. It's a shame we didn't explore further afield, with Fisherman's Wharf being the furthest we considered going.

I enjoyed great value for money during my two days at Changdao Penglai Hotel. The breakfast buffet is rich and varied and tastes great. When I return to the room every day, I will be pleasantly surprised to find fresh fruits and yogurt on the table. It feels very considerate, as if I have a dedicated little angel silently caring for me. The service is also super attentive. From the luggage handling at the door, to the considerate travel guide, to the careful classification of baby toothbrushes, every detail makes people feel warm and comfortable. Not to mention, it is very close to Pengchang Passenger Port and Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area, making travel very convenient. recommend!

This stay exceeded my expectations! From check-in, the front desk staff, ZOEY, was warm and efficient, and even proactively introduced the hotel facilities and local dining options. The whole process was seamless. I paid to upgrade to a sea-view room, and it was a true oceanfront room. Opening the floor-to-ceiling windows revealed the entire sea, with an unbeatable panoramic view. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the soundproofing was excellent. I slept soundly until morning, lulled by the sound of the waves, and all my travel fatigue simply melted away. The facilities were well-maintained, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries were of high quality; attention to detail was evident everywhere. The buffet breakfast offered a rich variety, and the freshly cooked local specialty noodles tasted authentic, plus the freshly squeezed juices were delicious. The hotel's location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to the beach. Strolling along the coast in the evening, enjoying the sea breeze, was incredibly relaxing. The heated pool and gym facilities were also comprehensive, making for a truly immersive vacation experience. Five-star rating, I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

With a family looking for a hotel near the 8 immortals crossed the sea sonic spot, this hotel isa good option for the price. The room included 2 seperate rooms, one with a double bed and the other 2 single beds. Basic but clean hotel, service was polite and friendly. The breakfast was average, so if you an afford a few extra RMB suggest go to the hotel next door for breakfast.

Haiyang is truly an underestimated small city; it's uncrowded, peaceful, and super convenient to get around with shared electric scooters available right outside. The hotel is located right by the sea and has its own outdoor pool. The room had a large bathtub, which my child loved. Zheng Xiaoxun at the front desk provided exceptional service; she was very enthusiastic, helped us with our luggage upon arrival, and even assisted in pushing two beds together. The cleaning staff were also very friendly. Overall, the people here feel very genuine. The hotel itself generally feels good, though it's quite old, and the carpets definitely need a deep clean or replacement. The beaches in Haiyang are mostly deserted; sometimes you can even have an entire stretch of sand all to yourself, making for great photos.

The Yantai Penglaige Manting Hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk to the seaside, and within walking distance to Penglai Pavilion and the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea Scenic Area. Having a car park right at the hotel entrance was incredibly convenient for us as self-drivers! The ground floor of the hotel has a unique design, and the front desk staff were very welcoming, recommending the Eight Bowls restaurant next door where we enjoyed a delicious dinner. While the free breakfast wasn't overly lavish, it was certainly tasty. Our room was particularly spacious and bright, clean and refreshing, and we could see the views from the window – a truly great experience. All in all, this trip was relaxing and enjoyable.

This is my second stay at this hotel, and both times have been great. The hotel environment is beautiful, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The Chinese restaurant's food is also very tasty. The front desk and housekeeping staff are all very dedicated and provide excellent service. You can walk to see the sunrise in just five minutes. The room facilities are clean and well-equipped. I'll definitely be back next time.

Absolutely thrilled with my sea-view stay! The room was spacious and spotless, and opening the window revealed an endless, unobstructed ocean vista – so expansive and incredibly soothing. Soaking in the bathtub while gazing at the sea from inside the room created an absolutely perfect, immersive atmosphere. The front desk staff were gentle and enthusiastic, making the check-in process super fast and hassle-free. It was a truly comfortable stay.
