Deqing Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"I’ve been to this place once before for an event at the Moon Lake lawn, and I’ve always wanted to come back and stay. This time, we stayed in a cabin, and I think this kind of weekend getaway is something I could do many more times. I’m really satisfied; it's very French! Everything – dining, accommodation, transportation, and activities – is within this resort. The resort has two restaurants, and we tried both, they were delicious. Their ingredients seem to be locally grown, very fresh, and the flavors were great. For lunch on the second day, we ate at their Western restaurant, and my son absolutely loved their pasta – the taste was so authentic – and the pizza was good too. In the hot afternoon, we went to do some handicrafts. I really have to commend the staff here; they are all kind and patient, and their service is truly superb. We had an elderly lady, over 80, with a wheelchair, and their sightseeing cart was available on call, and they even helped us carry our belongings. We've been to so many 'attraction-style' tours, but this kind of relaxing trip is something we really need to do more often. You can come in all four seasons; it’s truly relaxing for the mind, body, and soul. There are also many water activities, and the kids had so much fun. The rose garden is beautifully maintained. And last but not least, what touched me the most was that we accidentally left a bracelet in the room because we were rushing during check-out. The hotel proactively called us and offered to mail it back to us. I’m so grateful!"

"We stayed here during the Dragon Boat Festival, which also coincided with a birthday celebration, and our family had a wonderful experience. The environment is absolutely stunning, and they offer a fantastic array of unique activities. Even though it rained for several days, keeping us mostly indoors, we were never bored. We enjoyed making 'zongzi' (rice dumplings), bamboo weaving, pottery, crafting mugwort bouquets, and making sachets – so many different crafts! There was also horseback riding, celebrating a pony's birthday, and even 'yoga' interactions with the horses. These novel and fun experiences delighted both adults and children. A big thank you to our butler, Joan, for her attentive and proactive service, and to the super nice staff at the equestrian center who interacted and chatted with my daughter, sharing their knowledge about horses. My daughter especially loved Ty, saying he was her favorite. Everyone, from the front desk to the restaurant and even the staff at the Naked Retreats cafe, had excellent service attitudes. While some dishes at the Western restaurant weren't quite to our taste, the restaurant manager handled our feedback gracefully from a customer's perspective. Overall, we are very satisfied and will definitely be back."

"Extremely satisfied with my stay. I contacted them beforehand to confirm I could bring my corgi, and the owner was amazing! They met us at the intersection with an umbrella in the pouring rain, helped us park in their private garage so we didn't get wet at all, and even assisted with our luggage. This level of service is definitely better than many chain hotels. The room was super clean, and despite being in the mountains, there wasn't a single mosquito or bug. The swimming pool is also heated, and there's a self-service BBQ area in the garden. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Moganshan! 😁"

"This hotel is truly beautiful and one of the larger establishments in Moganshan. I particularly loved the lobby and restaurant – they were incredibly lush and green! I rarely see lobbies and restaurants with such abundant greenery and flowers. It felt very chic and fresh, even more photogenic than many of the trendy cafes in Moganshan. Our room was spacious, and we were upgraded to the 'Prague' room. I do have a couple of suggestions: the bed frame was wider than the mattress, and I kept bumping my shins on it, which was painful. Also, the shower only had a rain shower head. The water pressure was great, but it was impossible to rinse off soap suds that splattered further away on the floor, so you'd end up stepping in bubbles when you got out. Finally, the toilet door wasn't fully sealed, which is a bit of an issue if you need privacy."

"The B&B's location is a bit of a downside; it's not in the scenic area, nor is it close to Yucun. However, if you're traveling by car, it's not an issue at all, just a ten-to-fifteen-minute drive. The service was excellent; they added me on WeChat early on and were always quick to answer any questions. We decided to hike the Jiang Gong Ancient Trail to the top of Moganshan with my dad on New Year's Day morning. We started at 7 AM and reached the summit by 8 AM. We were incredibly lucky to see a snowy landscape that morning, and even better, the sun came out around 9 AM, turning the sky a beautiful sapphire blue. PS: The EV charging fee is a bit high, surprisingly 1.9 yuan per kWh."

"I chose this Radisson Hotel for my Dragon Boat Festival trip. The overall experience was good. Let me talk about the good points first: the hotel called to confirm the day before the trip and inquired about the needs. After arriving at the hotel, they upgraded to a family room👍The hotel is in Yucun Nearby, there is a mountain view outside the window, the air is fresh and pleasant, and there is plenty of food and shopping. The two-person cycling experience was great. From the exclusive cycling track at the door to Laoling Reservoir, the road and vehicle conditions were very good. Let me talk about the things that I am not satisfied with. The hotel facilities are relatively old, including floors, wardrobes, and backrests on the bed. The fitness facilities and environment are also relatively simple. However, the service staff was still very enthusiastic and gave fruit as a gift when checking out. It is a good choice for a weekend self-driving trip."

"The private hot spring was really great, the water temperature was just right, and I felt completely relaxed after soaking. The breakfast was also a pleasant surprise, with both Chinese and Western options, and I was very satisfied. I have to commend the service; the butler was especially attentive and arranged everything I needed. The experience was excellent, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Moganshan."

"Choosing a guesthouse was a good option for our group of four friends. We happened to have a suite with a small loft. It was a family-run guesthouse; the owner seemed to live there himself. The most unique feature was Lulu, a sika deer. My friends especially loved her; she was very gentle and didn't smell much. Lulu was very clean, haha, but she was a bit greedy. Breakfast had a good variety of options, a typical Chinese family breakfast: porridge, fried noodles, steamed buns, eggs, corn, etc. Lulu especially loved the corn, haha. Driving is better for getting around. If you need a taxi, you'll have to call about 20 minutes in advance. If you're lucky, a driver will be available immediately after you book, but if no one is passing by, you'll have to wait a while. The guesthouse also had an automatic mahjong machine. We were the only ones playing that day, haha. The owner was very nice; he even reminded us when we were playing late. If you need any help, you can contact him directly via WeChat. The room was quite clean, and we slept well. The air was really fresh and comfortable. It was drizzling a little when we went, otherwise we could have sat on the lawn, had coffee, and chatted about the three lakes. Overall, we were very satisfied."

"Visited for 2 nights with 8 friends for a cycling weekend. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Rooms were simple, but quite nice. Very clean. Breakfast was also simple, but it was fine. We didn't eat any other meals at the hotel, but there is a good Italian restaurant within walking distance. Would book again."
