Busan Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"In terms of value for money, the hotel is decent. The interior is pleasant and modern; it seems new, but it is no longer perfectly clean. In my room, for example, the toilet seat cover was taped with duct tape, there were splashes on the walls in some places, and stains on the ceiling. However, the rooms are cleaned well, towels are changed every day, and if you ask not to be disturbed, they leave everything you need in a basket outside your room. The hotel is very conveniently located for a short visit to Busan (up to 3-4 days), close to the train station and between the main attractions (it takes about the same amount of time to get to each direction). The trains were not audible in the room, and overall the hotel is quite quiet. I had a spacious room where I could open my suitcase normally, but there was still not enough storage space (at least more hangers for clothes are needed). There are also no cutlery in the room, which is a minus. There is a clothes styler - something like a steaming closet, which turned out to be convenient, as I didn't need an iron. The pool area is relaxing, you can take beautiful photos, and the water is warm. I didn't like the breakfasts. On weekdays, they are served à la carte, the selection is modest, and the coffee is not tasty. There are many coffee shops and cafes around the hotel, so it's better to go there. I was very surprised that upon check-in, they asked for a deposit of 100,000 won (or a card). In 10 years of active travel, I have never encountered this anywhere in hotels especially without notification."

"room was really huge and spacious. supreme location, can see half view of the ocean and right at the beach. decent service. has a kitchenette, wardrobe, fridge, stovetop, etc. beds were comfy enough. not too hard, and pillow is not too soft. what can be improved: - water pressure for the showerhead is quite weak. please change the water pressure to make it higher… - for some reason they keep giving tiny hotels by default and did not provide large bath towels. housekeeping keeps replenishing with ONLY small face towels. had to request from the reception every single time. it was quite puzzling why large bath towels were not automatically provided or replenished. it was a bit hard to find the entrance though… can be confused for seacloud hotel which is another hotel that’s connected to the same building. signage for suncloud hotel is not prominent enough and only in korean. to get to suncloud, u need to go up the building for seacloud, go to 4th floor which is seacloud’s reception, then walk to the other lift to get to 6th floor of the next building for the suncloud reception."

"This hotel is absolutely fantastic! I spent days sifting through countless hotels in Busan, and honestly, my eyes were glazing over. I finally settled on this new hotel, mainly because my mom is a bit of a clean freak and needs to wash clothes every day in the summer. This place actually has a washing machine with a dryer in every room, which was a huge plus. It was also the most spacious hotel room I stayed in during my 9-day trip to Korea! It was incredibly clean, and the service was excellent. The hairdryer, bedding, and toiletries were all top-notch, really on par with what you'd expect from a five-star hotel. The only downside is that it's not close to any tourist attractions. Getting anywhere fun requires at least a 30-minute subway ride, and navigating the subway signs in Busan can be a bit of a headache. My advice to anyone visiting Busan for tourism, if you're not staying in Haeundae, is to definitely pick this hotel! Oh, and I highly recommend the small BBQ restaurant located just downstairs, out the back door of the hotel. The owner is incredibly friendly, the food is delicious, and it's excellent value for money."

"The hotel's location is super convenient, close to everything. There's a convenience store right outside, and getting a taxi is easy. Plus, there's a bakery across the street perfect for breakfast. The beach is also directly opposite the hotel, and the monorail station is very close by."

"The room is big and with balcony overseeing the sea. Beautiful. Love the CIMER (many mini heated jacuzzi) and gymn is great. The normal pool is too short and small and filled with people all the time. Location is so convenient for food, shopping and capsule ride and of course the beach is right in front of your hotel- dun need to cross any road. Service here is very hospitable. I meant the chamber maid. Don’t feel like checking out here. Amenities- only toothbrush n paste is missing. Must check out by 11am. Sauna is not complimentary, which is a pity, as Japan it is just a small amount of money and unlimited use."

"The room was huge! The bathtub was beautiful, and having two toilets was a major plus! The whole decor had a fantastic vacation vibe. It's only a few minutes' walk from the bustling Haeundae area, which was super convenient. The view from the rooftop pool was amazing! Downstairs, there was ice, a microwave, a water dispenser, and a coffee machine – and the coffee was really good!"

"Facilities: There's a gym available, and you can pay extra for breakfast and lunch. The lunch here is surprisingly good and much more cost-effective than eating out, especially compared to a BBQ meal. The entire hotel looks very new and fresh, making it a pleasant stay. Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy, which made for a very comfortable experience. It's a bit far from the city center, but that has its advantages – it's incredibly quiet, perfect for a business trip. There are plenty of food options nearby; you can find everything just by walking around downstairs. I only had BBQ once in four days, but I explored the area multiple times. Service: Everyone greets you with 'Ari-ari-assayo.' The front desk staff don't speak Chinese, but they all speak English. A lovely lady at the Chinese restaurant speaks excellent Chinese. Bed linen and towels were changed promptly. Overall, the service was great."

"The hotel is beautiful, and it's very pleasant to sit on the balcony and watch the sea when the weather is good. The room is also quite spacious, and the bedding is very comfortable. However, it's really far out and public transport isn't very convenient; you'll mostly rely on taxis. Also, note that toothbrushes and slippers are not provided."

"Everything's great, the only downside is that breakfast isn't every day. When we checked into the room, it turned out we stinked of rotten fish. We reported to the reception and changed our number with ease."

"Overall, the room was convenient and well-equipped, and the cleanliness was good. The location was also super convenient. My only minor complaint is that the duvet felt a bit too thick. Check-in is officially at 3 PM. I was feeling unwell the day I arrived and asked the front desk if I could check in early, but was denied. I ended up paying for half a day to get in earlier. For check-out, they asked for 11 AM, and when I called to request a 30-minute extension, they readily agreed, which was a good point. It would have been an even better experience if the service had been a bit more flexible and accommodating."
