Choosing Shiwulan for my stay in Xishuangbanna was absolutely the right decision! As soon as I got out of the car, someone was there to help with my luggage. When I checked in, a fresh fruit platter was already waiting in my room. The tropical fruits were deliciously sweet and instantly helped relieve the fatigue from the journey. The room decor had a wonderfully soothing wooden theme, which brought a sense of calm. Outside the window, I could see both the pool and the river, and I found myself just gazing out for ages from the bed. In the evening, I returned to find brown sugar jelly as a bedtime sweet treat on my nightstand – such thoughtful details! The service was attentive throughout my stay. A hidden gem of a hotel in Banna, nestled atop a hill! My girlfriend and I booked a stay at Muxu to escape the crowded Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, and the overall experience far exceeded our expectations. The hotel seamlessly blends into the surrounding rainforest, with its public areas like the book bar, terrace, and rooftop infinity pool all offering fantastic photo opportunities. In the morning, clouds drift over the ridge, and at sunset, the sky is awash with a glorious glow – no filters needed for your photos here! The guest rooms are clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and a full suite of high-end bathroom amenities. The mini-bar is stocked with soft drinks. The service is incredibly warm; our butler was always on hand whenever we needed anything. The perks are truly substantial: complimentary pick-up/drop-off, afternoon tea, and a late-night sweet soup. They even included a complimentary professionally retouched travel photoshoot, saving us the trouble and cost of booking a separate photographer. This hotel is perfect for those who appreciate tranquility, stunning views, and quality service. It's the ultimate choice for a relaxing, laid-back vacation!

A stunningly beautiful hotel in Yunnan, perfect for taking amazing photos! The wooden tones create a very reassuring atmosphere. Located in Zhumo Spring Mountain in Xishuangbanna, it perfectly matches my aesthetic of tropical rainforests. Opening the curtains in the morning, you're greeted by birdsong and the sound of rain. Absolutely gorgeous; even casual snapshots look high-class. Highly recommend taking photos by the pool and in the restaurant! They're incredibly photogenic. The entire environment is very private and quiet. The butler even left us fruit and a welcome message upon check-in (so thoughtful!).

The second floor of the hotel feels like a five-star hotel, especially with its family-friendly theme. There's a playground for children on the second floor, and my kids had a blast. The mattress was comfortable, and the pillows, one higher and one lower, were a thoughtful touch, making for a truly comfortable stay. The front desk service was absolutely excellent, delivering a top-notch experience. In particular, Xiaodao and Xiaozhang were polite, gentle, and considerate, taking great care of us. This was, without a doubt, the best hotel experience ever.

I brought my kids to stay here, and the hotel's Dai-style buildings are truly beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery. Looking up, you'll even find a pleasant surprise: the roof features an openwork design with Dai script, which is very artistic. The large swimming pool is right next to the Dai buildings, perfect for kids to play in the water during summer. The hotel room design is also very thoughtful, with elements of Dai culture visible everywhere – Dai brocade, wooden ceiling fans, Dai-style daybeds... This place feels ideal for a vacation because it's located in Ganlanba, making the environment very peaceful, unlike the crowded and noisy Jinghong city center. The winter temperatures here are also very comfortable, not cold at all. Plus, there are attractions nearby, like the Xishuangbanna Dai Garden, and on weekends, you can even explore the traditional Dai market. Overall, highly recommended!

From the first day, he was incredibly attentive and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, answering all our questions and giving us great recommendations on what to do and see around the area. Whether it was arranging a fun jungle adventure for the kids or helping us find a delicious local restaurant, Xiaodai was always there with a smile on his face and a can-do attitude. The resort also has a variety of activities for kids, which kept my little ones entertained throughout our stay. They had a blast exploring the nature trails, participating in the kids' club activities, and swimming in the pool. It was so nice to see them having so much fun while also learning about the rainforest and its unique ecosystem. In addition, the food at the resort was delicious. There was a wide selection of dishes to choose from, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful.
