The environment and decor perfectly met my requirements. The courtyard design was aesthetically pleasing, and there was even a private hot spring for soaking. Downstairs, there was a café, meditation room, mahjong room, and swings/seesaws to satisfy most needs. However, I have to complain about the food. The 128 RMB braised chicken had not a single good piece of meat. There were hardly any chicken legs or wings; it was completely scraps mixed with potatoes. Be aware of this when ordering.

Choosing Lanyu Hotel for our Emei Mountain trip was absolutely the smartest decision. It’s exactly the healing, Japanese-style hotel I was looking for, distinctly different from a typical guesthouse. Our stay of several days was incredibly relaxing, and we received meticulous care. The hotel arranged a business car for all our transfers within the scenic area and even helped us organize a guide. When it rained, they provided umbrellas and even prepared ginger tea. While other hotels might simply fulfill requests, the team at Lanyu takes service to the extreme – there’s nothing they haven't thought of or can't do. Everything was excellent. Many thanks to Manager Ma, Butler Xiao Yang, and Xiao Deng. Location: Superb location, halfway up Emei Mountain, very close to Qingyin Pavilion – a true oxygen bar. Facilities: Smart toilet, hairdryer, very comfortable bathrobes. Service: Authentic breakfast, high-quality dinner, free minibar drinks, high-quality afternoon tea, and free-flow coffee – truly amazing! 👍

The architecture blends seamlessly with the surrounding mountains and wilderness. The hotel offers a comprehensive range of amenities, including courtyards, guest rooms, a swimming pool, a restaurant, and a cafe. Facilities: The facilities are well-equipped and excellently maintained. Cleanliness: The indoor areas are spotless. Despite being in a mountainous area, there wasn't a single mosquito. Environment: The environment is beautiful, with stunning views at every turn. Service: The service, from the front desk to the restaurant, was incredibly thoughtful. They helped with luggage and were especially attentive to our children.

A summer trip to Emei Mountain was made even better by this hot spring resort's ”Summer Adventure” experience – a perfect choice for families with kids! The moment you step into the hotel, you're captivated by its forest-like environment – ​​the windows offer panoramic views of rolling green hills, and every breath is filled with the fresh scent of nature. Just a 10-minute walk from the scenic area entrance, you can easily return to the hotel for a relaxing soak in the cool spring pools after exploring the area with your kids, offering privacy and convenience. The biggest surprise was coinciding with the ”Summer Adventure” event! Saturday's hot spring fun was a paradise for the kids: water battles with splashing water, kayaking races for the whole family, and a ”South-to-North Water Diversion” game testing teamwork – the children were soaking wet from head to toe, yet still clamoring for ”one more round!” The butler service was impeccable: they proactively contacted us during booking, sending scenic area guides via WeChat; upon check-in, they provided children's slippers and mosquito repellent patches; and upon check-out, simply leave your room key in the room – completely freeing up your hands. The room has its own private hot spring bath. My skin felt so smooth after soaking in it. The butler told me that the hot spring water is radon from 3,000 meters underground, rich in 24 kinds of minerals. Even my fatigue was washed away.

Билет стоит 2 юаня, бросить в прозрачный стеклянный ящик, отрывать бумажные. Сдачи не дают, поэтому в Чэнду стоит разменять в метро и вообще запастись мелочью. Остановка через дорогу от отеля. На этом же номере ехать дальше - до огромного Будды, основной городской достопримечательности, езды минут 40. В отеле попросили номер для некурящих, нам в ответ написали, что таких номеров нет ( и это правда, в Китае принято курить в отелях), но нам дадут номер, где вчера никто не жил и там проветривают. Итого запаха особо даже не почувствовали. Номер на 11 этаже с видами. Комната просторная, большая и очень удобная кровать, с 4 подушками. Несмотря на высокий этаж, довольно слышно шум с улицы, помогают только беруши и кондиционер (на тепло). Где-то в отеле идет ремонт (читали об этом в отзывах), сверлить начали в районе 10 утра. Завтраки с 7.30, помещение банкетного зала, с высоченными потолками, отчего там довольно прохладно (китайцы вообще приходят на завтраки в верхней одежде. Выбор сильно беднее, чем в Чэнду, плюс когда пришли не в 7.45, а ровно в 7.30, оказалось, что нет еще большей части еды. За завтраком во всей поездке не было чая - пьют только кофе и молоко. Когда приходят повара, готовят еще лапшу и яичницу. В судках шведского стола - несколько видов овощей на пару, вареные яйца, овощи типа тыквы, несколько видов выпечки.

The overall experience was excellent. Our butler, Molly, proactively contacted me on WeChat early on, sending over information about hotel activities and amenities. She also arranged convenient transfers to and from the high-speed rail station. Upon arrival at the hotel, feeling a bit tired, I was delighted to find a large fruit basket and a cake in the room – a perfect snack to relax with. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the private hot spring on the balcony offered a secluded spot with views of lush green mountains. I particularly loved the long daybed in the room, perfect for lounging and gazing at the mountains, ideal for relaxation. For dinner, we went to the canteen's Chinese restaurant, where the shrimp balls and eel noodles were both delicious, and the service was excellent, with all staff members smiling. Breakfast hours were also great, starting a bit later, and the variety was extensive. All in all, it was a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and truly relax my weary body. I look forward to my next visit!

We stayed in an older part of the hotel which was fine though a bit rundown. The hot springs were quite nice. The water was hot with a range of pools from 33° to 42°. When we first went in at 3:00 in the afternoon the pools were a bit cooler and they got hotter and hotter as the evening went on. The pools were busier after dinner than they were before dinner. The breakfast buffet had a large variety. The indoor pool was closed during our visit in early February.

I stayed here a few years ago when it was newly opened. The facilities and equipment were all very new. We were pleasantly surprised when the TV turned on and our names appeared on the screen as soon as we entered. I have a few complaints this time: 1. They didn't ask if we wanted a non-smoking floor. 2. There were hairs on the towels in the room. 3. The slippers were torn (which was unacceptable). However, the breakfast was okay and quite rich.
