This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with friends.

"Good stay! The hotel is non-smoking, although when I first entered the room, it smelled like cigarettes. Check in time is 1400, the hotel staff will keep your luggage until check in time. It would be much better The front deck staff are more friendly and flexible about check in time. I arrived the hotel on around 9 am due to my early flight. I understand that check in time was 1400, but when I come back around for 13:50 they won’t let me check in at first. I have to request to allow me to do paper work first and check in at 1400. Other than that the stay was good, room was spacious and clean."

Amazing
Ttan lip cheowThe checkin is fast and seamless and room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing deliciously with Christmas special, a wide spread to choose Thai, Japanese and Western. The Pastry is a must try for sweet tooth’s. Location is perfect, as we just to walk 10mins to both Siam Paragon or Central Embassy. BTS is right outside and if you need a prayer at Doorstep of Erawan shine. Suggest to choose a higher floor room, as it can be noisy road traffic.

AAnonymous UserThe air conditioning was incredibly powerful – my friend actually caught a cold on the first night! Breakfast was plentiful, and I absolutely loved the Sky Bar on the top floor; the night view was stunning, overlooking Bangkok. It's also very close to the Erawan Shrine, easily within walking distance.

SSasajiangjiangziThis is the same hotel brand I stayed at for a month after giving birth in Guangzhou, so I chose it again in Bangkok. It has the famous infinity pool, and a small kids' play area right next to it. About 50 meters down the road, there's a 7-Eleven and a great coffee shop (their coffee is surprisingly good!). A little further, there's a fantastic wonton noodle place that I went to for two days straight. The hotel is right by the BTS Thong Lo station (E6), and it's just 6 stops to Siam. Bangkok traffic is insane, so we'd always take the BTS and then a short motorbike ride from the station. Across from the hotel is THE ONE, a popular rooftop bar. There are also many massage places nearby, all looking clean and tidy – much better than the ones in Phuket! **Service:** The front desk service was excellent. Check-in was fast, and they even provided toiletries for my baby. Room cleaning was also very good.

HHelen ChayThe Berkeley Hotel Pratunam Bangkok was recommended by my friend who has always stay there when they visit Thailand. Location of the hotel is great and easily accessible to all the shopping areas that we want to visit. Even Erawan Shrine is also a walking distance. Hence i would say the location of the hotel is excellent and of cos without saying the staffs are friendly too. Berkeley Hotel will always be my first choice when i visit Thailand.

GGuest UserI booked one night at the Banyan Tree Bangkok two months in advance on Trip.com. It's probably the cheapest Banyan Tree in the world. There's a reason for the low price – it opened in 2002, making it 24 years old now, which is quite dated. The check-in process was full of ceremony – we were given bracelets, tea, and snacks upon entering the lobby, our luggage and passports were taken, and we waited for our turn. There was also someone continuously playing the piano in the lobby. However, the speed of the check-in was quite disappointing – it took a full 30 minutes from entering the lobby to getting into our room, which was incredibly slow. The room itself had an early 2000s 'old cadre' style, reflecting its 24-year-old decor. But you could still feel the quality of the materials used back then. We stayed in a Horizon Room on the 49th floor, which is a basic room type. The room was spacious enough, and the view was good. Complimentary welcome fruits, incense sticks, and aromatherapy essential oils were provided, adding a nice touch of ceremony. What was unbearable, though, was that there was only one power outlet on one side of the bed, which is incredibly inconvenient. 24 years ago, people used non-smartphones with replaceable batteries, so perhaps there wasn't a need for bedside charging. The hotel's rooftop bar, Moon Bar (now apparently renamed Vertigo), is a popular spot. Non-hotel guests have a minimum spend of 800 THB per person, while hotel guests have no such restriction. We each ordered a small drink, and the total cost was 95 RMB per person. We stayed from 5:50 PM to 7:05 PM, getting to witness the complete transition from daytime to sunset, then blue hour, and finally night. When we went out in the evening, we requested turndown service. Upon returning, we found that the coffee and tea bags had been replenished, slippers were laid out, a few incense sticks were left, and a small sea turtle plush toy was provided. The small sea turtle toy is also a signature item of this hotel. Breakfast is served on the 60th floor. The breakfast restaurant is quite small, and the variety of food isn't extensive, but everything is unique and refined, like the Indian fried rice and side dishes, which was quite innovative. The view is also excellent. However, because it was so small, we had to queue for breakfast when we arrived at 9:45 AM and didn't get to eat until 10:00 AM. Overall, the Banyan Tree Bangkok has aging facilities and small public areas, leading to significant waiting times. However, considering the very low price, the value for money is still acceptable.

KKantabuliyazhangchangzongI was quite hesitant about this hotel after reading the reviews, but after staying there, I can say its location is excellent, right by the river. The biggest selling point is definitely the riverside access, especially the free shuttle boat. This shuttle can take you to S-pier, which connects to all the major blue and orange line attractions. Taking the metro isn't the most convenient option, but you can also get to S-pier and transfer there. From my window, I could see the Ferris wheel, and there's a night market right downstairs. However, the shuttle service ends at 9 PM, which is a big drawback, as it's about a 5-minute walk from there. Also, if you're close to the river at night, you might hear the rumble of boats in the middle of the night. While the hotel facilities are a bit old, they're not dirty. I loved the bed – it was incredibly soft and comfortable; I honestly didn't want to get up! The beds are huge. Even though they're single beds, two pushed together are bigger than beds in China, easily sleeping three people. I skipped the hotel breakfast as I'd already spent a lot of money these past few days. In the afternoon, there's hot coffee in the lobby, which is a nice touch (though it's the only one). They also have iced water, chrysanthemum tea, and roselle tea, plus some biscuits. In the mornings, there are croissants and hot coffee that you can take with you. It's like a simple meal, and it's not bad at all. One of the front desk staff speaks Chinese, so communication wasn't an issue. The hotel requires a deposit, as it's a major international brand. The bottled water in the room is complimentary and NSF certified, so feel free to drink up. The razor provided was quite good, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. From 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM, there's a singer performing in the lobby, which you can discreetly listen to. There's also legitimate massage available outside. If you get hungry at night, there's a 7-Eleven and some street food stalls about 50 to 100 meters away. I wouldn't say the food is amazing or terrible, but you can try the oyster omelet. As for the swimming pool, it's actually quite nice, being on the first floor and very spacious. If your main goal is to explore along the river, this hotel is perfect. However, if you're looking to frequent places like Nana, this location might not be ideal.

JJ.A.S.PThis is a fun and quirky place to stay. Clean and tidy with excellent customer service. We were in the 2nd floor and our balcony did not have a view, but this did not bother us as we were either outside or just chilling indoors. The lobby are and the rooftop bar and restaurant is a vibe on its own. I had a mocktail (mango colado - did not like it) and mago sticky rice (this I loved). If you are wanting to go for a swim or do laundry please note this is in the building next to the 7/11 about 3mins away from the hotel. The swim/sauna is free entry, while the selfservice washing is 20bhat, and drying is 10bhat for 7 minutes. Depending on your load you may need to put more coins in until it dries. Please note it would have been nice if ghere was a clothes hanger in the balcony, with the heat the clothes can dry easily. I also loved that we can grab order our food - so if you are on a budget and cannot afford the restaurant food (it is not that expensive though) you can look for more options on grab. However please note you will have to pin the hotel location to the front entrance as it defaults to the back entrance. The MRT is about a 8min walk from the hotel, we struggled getting their the first day but after that it was easy enough changing from MRT to BTS....we ordered grab on days that was too hot and we did not feel like walking. Please note the MRT and BTS are cheaper when you travel longer distances. Overall great place to stay. Clean rooms, helfull people and a wonderful experience.

GGuest UserI spent 17 nights at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with my choice for a remote work and vacation stay. The room has a spacious desk where I could work comfortably, and the internet speed was consistently fast. The bed was also very comfortable. I had no trouble falling asleep at all. I’d say it’s on par with the bed at Parkroyal Collection Pickering in Singapore. The room was clean and a decent size, and the shower had strong water pressure. Locationwise, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Sala Daeng BTS or Lumphini MRT. While it may not be very close to public transport for some, one of the best things about the location is that it’s surrounded by many great restaurants to suit different budgets. In fact, the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had is just a five-minute walk from the hotel.Special thanks to Mr. Kelly from the reception team for providing exceptional service and helping me with any issues during my stay.

CCHWAY MATEThe facilities were a bit old, and there was a constant sewer smell, so we had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times. This time, we booked a two-bedroom family suite, which had excellent soundproofing. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots and pans. The pool was large and beautiful, and the changing room was also spacious with a big bathtub 🛁. We also took the kids to the small playground in B City. The location is great, and overall, I'm very satisfied. I'll choose this place again next time.

HHsieh MaureenThe front officer is nice and helpful, location is great. The room is not what I see in the picture, quitt old, the toilet floor is a bit damaged, the towel is old. The breakfast need also an improvement, I feel like eating left over food. The jam and bread was sitting under the sun which I have a concern on it. And the staff didn mention I can order the fried eggs until the last day I ask them. I have to go out find a breakfast place on the next day. I stayed there few years ago which think was good but this time is quite disappointing, specially on my wedding anniversary.
