we stayed in a club room, which came with gym and pool access - the facilities are good and the gym is fully equipped. The ladies serving breakfast are very friendly especially young Asian girl and there are veg options available. Nature reserve only 10 mins walk from the hotel - highly recommend. The room itself had issues with wifi and tv signal. I logged a complaint on their app but nobody came so the next day I had to go to reception again. They didn’t give me a solution like moving room for a better wifi. Club Rooms don’t have a fridge or a telephone so you have to send messages via chat which is annoying.

We enjoyed the night with locals in a nice traditional pub . The room was in need of some mantanace work pealing paintwork on the bathroom ceiling and the bedroom pealing wallpaper damp . Needs a bigger TV and another bedside light.needs a light in the shower area and a light over the handbasin mirror for shaving

I enjoyed a lovely stay at Chatterley House - A stunning space to relax and reset along my journey. Jackie was a fabulous host, very friendly and accommodating. My room was exceptionally comfortable, cosy, and met all of my expectations and more. I can highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a homey place to check in to along their travels. Good location- easy to find and close to the train station. We drove so used the car park in front of the hotel where there is a discount for staying at the hotel just let reception know you are parked there - is a set fee for 24hrs. Rooms were clean and quite basic but sufficient for what we needed - downside no fridge to chill your drinks. There is a kettle to make hot drinks and room has tv which is good. Ordered the breakfast which was lovely - options to have cereal, fruit,yoghurt,toast,pastries and a full English with coffee/tea and juice. Restaurant overlooks the river which was nice as we could see the ducks and swans Hotel has a bar which was nice to have a few drinks in the evening when we arrived Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful - would definitely go back if we needed to stay in Nottingham again Price was good value for money!

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Plenty car parking space. Conveniently located off motorway junction. Would use again.

Very nice place and staffs are very helpful. Everything alright and surrounding environment is good. But I couldn't find the oven (only microwave) in the room. It will be much better if a washing machine is also equipped. The dear park must be visited. I recommend this hotel.

Pros: Pleasant stay for the price. Staff were very friendly and hospitable. The room had a nice bathroom and a little kitchenette, more than I was expecting to find. Very comfortable and clean bed - I slept like a baby. Cons: The area did seem a bit sketchy and not somewhere I would want to spend much time outside after dark. The carpet in my room needed some work too as it was torn in places. The room was quite warm due to the summer heat which was helped somewhat by the included fan, but I still had to sleep on top of the covers to be comfortable. The elevator was also often stinky. Overall satisfied with my stay for the very affordable price.

A lovely place. We we're a bit iffy on sraying due to the rating of the hotel but after reading the reviews most were about the rooms being dated. Since we were only planning to be there for a night, who cares? There was an issue with the booking from Trip.com's side which the duty manager Declan was able to resolve in a timely mannor while also making the wait very pleasant with some nice chat. The staff were lovely, including the two young ladys on the bar/food service as well as Declan. Unfortunately didnt get the girls names. The building is stunning and surrounded by lovely woods, perfect for a walk. Rooms are a bit dated, sure, but why are you looking to spend all your time in your room? More than enough to have a comfy sleep in. Also as a side note on that, id imagine It's a listed building and so hard an expensive to update. Overall a lovely night and a pleasant morning having breakfast then a walk. Absolutely would recommend.

Room was spacious and clean. The room wasn’t cleaned while we were there but that suited us okay. Didn’t see anyone on reception but there was a phone number if you needed anything. Unfortunately there were roadworks outside from 8 am so it was noisy but that wasn’t the hotels fault. We would stay again.

Just needed to put my head down for the night. Reception was friendly..I arrived late at 2340..friendly night guy..room was adequate for my needs..Room 9 cold tap handle was missing, but a shsve was possible and teeth with warm water..mattress protector needs a boil wash and new carpet would freshen things. Shower was luke warm but manageable..heating was fine..tv ok..1 night fine;)
