My wife and I had an unforgettable and wonderful experience at NYX Hotel. The hotel's warm and hospitable experience made me extremely excited. Every delicious meal leaves me at a loss as to what to choose. The restaurant works very late every day, allowing guests to have a meal at any time. It is particularly worth mentioning that the front desk staff, Aejandro and Olivcr, helped me with everything. You know, I don't speak English, let alone Spanish. When there was a problem with the one-day tour I booked with the travel agency, Aejandro made many calls for me and helped me solve the problem. I want to thank these two handsome Mexican lads! Next time I come, I will still choose NYX!

We had an excellent experience at Sina suites. Great customer service at reception. Abigail was incredibly helpful and enthusiastically answered our questions about how to make the most of our experience in Cancun. The location is a 5 minute walk from the main road where you can either walk to the hotel zone or take a bus. The area is full of coconut trees and other plants which makes the area feel like a sanctuary. Of course, there are a few bugs outside and the occasional one that may get in. Sometimes you’ll also see some lizards in the area too which is cool. The food is more reasonably priced compared to other options in the hotel zone as well.

I was more than happy to be here. The hotel itself looked kitschy with some concrete human statues at the entrance. The pool was small (you can enjoy swimming at the beach though). But overall, the vibes was homey! My booking came with free breakfast.
The receptionist - Jessica - was very welcoming. She's competent speaking in English and would explain everything you need to know upon check in. She even gave me a printed map of what I can see and do around downtown Cancun. Room was ok, large room with a kitchenette and a proper sink. There's smart TV in the room with Netflix and YouTube.
Location wise, it's 5 minutes to Soriana Supermarket, and then cross the road (Avenida Tulum) from Soriana and you're at the ADO Bus Terminal to the airport. You can also take bus R1 on Avenida Tulum to the Hotel Zone.
There's a Poke shop next door and a burger (if you are sick of Mexican food). It's 15 mins walk to Mercado 23 (where the locals shop) and you can buy souvenirs way cheaper.
You can book Uber and you'd be picked up in front of the hotel.
I will definitely come back to this hotel when I visit Cancun in the future.

Selina Cancun Laguna is in a fantastic spot—close to the beach and right in the heart of the hotel zone, but still feels peaceful. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the overall vibe is relaxed and welcoming. Definitely a solid choice for travelers looking for a good mix of fun and relaxation.

A serene little resort in the north of Hotel Zone with mostly retirees and couples. We enjoyed 4 nights all inclusive here with friendly service and the beautiful sunsets over the lagoon. Personally find that the lagoon side is much more charming and relaxing as there is no loud music blasting all day. You can kayak to the other side on a good day with little effort. You still get the water taxi to the sister hotels on beachfront and can enjoy the snacks and drinks there. For restaurants and food, it was okay standard buffet quality. Asian guests will find the asian restaurant offering… interesting. Also soundproofing not the best for rooms as the door has a gap between the frame so road noise from the boulevard can spill in, but we got used to this minor nuisance.
