Find 4-Star Hotels in Tainan

Stayed for two nights. Had some issue with our hotel room key. The staff were very proactive trying to resolve the issue, but it was only till the 2nd day of our stay that was resolved. There was no compensation for the incovenience caused as we only had 1 phisical key for 4 ppl. Having said that, the rest of the service was very nice, would be happy to go back again.

The hotel is in a great location, with many places of interest within easy walking distance, which made getting around very convenient. The service staff were consistently friendly, warm, and helpful, and their hospitality really made us feel at home throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet offered a decent variety and was quite enjoyable, with good flavors and enough options to start the day well. That said, housekeeping could be more consistent. On one of the days, hair was not cleared from the floor trap, the mug wasn’t washed even though we had rinsed it after use, and the tissue paper was not replenished. These are small details, but they do affect the overall experience and could be improved. Overall, we had a pleasant and comfortable 4-night stay, and with a bit more attention to housekeeping details, the experience would have been even better.

The hotel is very clean, with excellent service and facilities. Breakfast was delicious and catered to a wide range of tastes. The beds were especially spacious and comfortable. Definitely worth the money plus a convenient location.

The front desk staff were really friendly, polite, and always smiling! The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was super comfortable. I saw some comments about low water pressure, but it was actually fine, not too weak at all. I loved that the sink was outside the bathroom, which was really convenient! The location is also great, close to the station and quite central. We mostly took taxis, which were super cheap at around NT$85-100 for a few minutes' drive, saving us a lot of walking. Plus, the breakfast was pretty good; I tried both the Western and Japanese options, and I personally preferred the Japanese one! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Tainan! ~(≧▽≦)/~

I was pleasantly surprised by their overall service and accommodations …. and great selections of breakfast . And they proved to be biker friendly…. allowing me to take my bike to my room for safekeeping.

During my stay, I was extremely satisfied with the hotel's location, surroundings, and in-house services. Overall, I had a pleasant time. First and foremost, the hotel's excellent location is noteworthy. A river flows right next to the building, and the pleasant breeze blowing across the water in the mornings and evenings allowed me to feel the presence of nature even while in the city. Simply strolling along the river gave me the sense of freedom that only a travel destination can offer, and it was a refreshing way to start my day. The hotel's bicycle rental service was another particularly memorable feature of my stay. It allowed me to easily visit places a little further from the city center, significantly expanding my range of activities. During my stay, I cycled to nearby tourist attractions, cafes, and quiet residential areas, experiencing the everyday atmosphere of the area. Being able to easily visit places that were a little farther away on foot and explore the city at my own pace was extremely pleasant and enhanced the enjoyment of my trip. The breakfast also far exceeded my expectations. The buffet offered a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, and each one was carefully prepared. There was a wide variety of fresh vegetables, hot dishes, bread, and desserts, so there was enough variety to keep you from getting bored even if you stayed for several nights. The dishes made with local ingredients were particularly delicious, allowing you to experience the unique flavors of the region and feel a little luxurious from the morning. As mentioned above, the hotel's location, the convenience of bicycle rentals, and the high-quality breakfast all combined to make this stay extremely satisfying. I feel that this is an inn that I can confidently recommend not only to tourists, but also to those who want to spend some relaxing time. I would definitely like to visit again if I have the opportunity.

An absolutely fantastic experience! The accommodation was superb. They offer complimentary drinks and snacks on the ground floor. Every staff member was incredibly friendly! Breakfast was decent. The price was very affordable, offering excellent value for money! I would definitely return. They also have a designated parking lot, and it's free!

I stayed two nights at CHECK INN Select Tainan YongKang in a quadruple room for four. The room was spacious and clean, though the property is older with some bathroom stains. Service was good with clear instructions. My only gripe was the lack of toiletries, which felt inconvenient for the price, as this isn’t standard in Taiwan. Overall, a solid stay.

This business hotel is conveniently located near Yongle Market. The facilities are new and overall it's pretty good. The only minor issue is with the shower head's twist knob; when your hands are covered in shower gel, it's too slippery to turn the knob to start the water. That's a small problem, otherwise everything else is OK.
