"I always opt for five-star hotels when I travel, but summer prices were just too high this year. So, I took a friend's recommendation and booked this place instead. 👍 It's about an hour from Kansai Airport, and Exit 13 is the closest to the hotel. The downside is there's no elevator there, so if you have a lot of luggage, I'd suggest Exit 16, which has one. The hotel's service and facilities are excellent. The room was quite spacious by Japanese hotel standards, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable – we slept soundly every night. The location is also fantastic, about a 15-minute walk to Shinsaibashi. We stayed for five nights this time and visited Kobe and Kyoto. The Chuo and Midosuji subway lines right downstairs were super convenient. I have to mention one particular incident. Check-out was at 11 AM, and our flight wasn't until 5 PM on the last day. Thinking we had plenty of time, my child and I went to Nipponbashi that morning. It wasn't until we got there that I remembered check-out was at 11! Luckily, my mother wasn't with us; she was having coffee at a cafe across from the hotel. I immediately contacted her and asked her to rush back to check out. But to our surprise, her Huawei phone couldn't connect to the hotel's Wi-Fi when she got back, and the only Pocket Wi-Fi device was with me! 😵💫 Since the reservation was under my name, the front desk needed to confirm check-out with me personally. But there was a language barrier, and my mom had no internet. She was incredibly flustered at that moment. Just then, a Chinese-speaking staff member appeared. He first calmed her down, telling her not to worry and that he would find a way to contact me, also explaining that the hotel's network was often unstable. He then took out a device and tried to connect her phone to the Wi-Fi in the lobby, but after many attempts, it didn't work. So, he took my mother back to the room and tried many more times until it finally connected, and he was able to reach me... His professionalism and meticulous work attitude deeply touched our entire family. We'd like to express our gratitude once again! I will definitely choose Tokyu Stay Osaka Hommachi again next time I visit Osaka. 👍"

"The hotel was clean and tidy, but it was a bit far from Namba Station, which made walking there in the summer quite tiring. The room was spacious, and the kids loved it, though it did feel a bit like a dorm room. For the price, I can't really complain. The room rate included breakfast for two, so we had to pay extra for our child's breakfast. The breakfast itself was very simple; it's fine if it's free, but if you have to pay, I'd suggest eating at a restaurant outside. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept well, but the air conditioning was a bit noisy, requiring earplugs to sleep. Also, the bathroom wasn't very well-ventilated, feeling a bit stuffy. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for larger families, as the space is genuinely ample."

"I always check the negative reviews before booking, so I was a bit nervous before my stay, but it turned out to be perfect! 😍 The hotel is very clean, the front desk staff all speak English and have excellent attitudes. They provide disposable toiletries and face masks. The room's mini-bar offers complimentary tea and beer (three types, six cans). We had two large and one small suitcase in the room, and it didn't feel cramped at all. The hotel lobby has a luggage scale! There's also a complimentary executive lounge benefit (unfortunately, neither of us drinks alcohol, so we just had coffee and orange juice; the snacks were plentiful and varied). Even though I'm not an early riser, next time I'll definitely book a package that includes breakfast!"

"Room was large in Japan hotels. Around 2mins walking distance from subway station. The hotel is located on the upper floors of a building while the lower floors are shopping malls. There are other shopping malls, supermarkets and restaurants around. On the other hand, some garbage (used plastic bags) from previous tenants was found inside the room. Although the location was quite hidden and did not affect the stay, but the housekeeping should do better."

"The hotel's location is superb. It's a convenient 3-5 minute walk to Osakajokoen JR Station, making it easy to get anywhere. There's an elevator inside the station that goes directly to the exit. After exiting, you walk about a hundred meters along a corridor to another elevator that takes you to ground level. Cross a small bridge and an intersection, and you're at the hotel. This is incredibly convenient if you have large luggage. The hotel is situated on the northeast side of Osaka Castle Park, by a small bridge, so you can easily stroll along the castle moat anytime. Shopping and dining are also very convenient. Cross the overpass from the park's south exit, and you'll find Q's Mall. There are also countless restaurants if you walk to Kyobashi Station (and along the way). For airport transfers, take the JR line to Tennoji, then transfer to the JR Loop Line (red), and it's just six stops to Osakajokoen Station. The hotel's cleanliness and facilities are excellent, especially the soundproofing – it's very quiet. The mattress and pillows are just right, providing a great sleeping environment. The hotel service is highly professional, from the front desk and restaurant to the lobby and concierge. The breakfast is a rich blend of Western and Japanese styles (though the coffee was a bit weak). I stayed for seven nights in total and had a fantastic experience."

"Unexpectedly good! While not in the city center, it boasts an unbeatable sea view, with the Tempozan Ferris Wheel, Osaka Bay, and USJ right outside the window. The hotel is conveniently located next to the JR Loop Line and Chuo Line, offering direct access to Kansai Airport and easy connections to Umeda and Osaka Station. Downstairs, there's a large supermarket (Daiso) and plenty of restaurants. Plus, there's a nearby Solaniwa Onsen where hotel guests receive a discount. The best part? The price is incredibly cheap, offering excellent value for money!"

The free hot springs and ramen every night were the absolute highlights, along with complimentary popsicles and drinks – these thoughtful details truly made us feel welcome. "The hotel staff were very welcoming. The gym and pool had dedicated attendants, and you could rent swimsuits. The pool was heated, and they provided towels, bathrobes, iced lemonade, mineral water, and a swimsuit dryer. Basically, you could just go down in slippers with your room card to enjoy it. The pool area also had a sauna and a cold plunge pool. The hotel's breakfast selection was rich, offering Western pastries, Chinese dim sum, and various Chinese porridges, all of which tasted quite good. The hotel also offered electric bicycle rentals, perfect for cycling to Osaka Castle. The JR station was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. The tea in the room was also delicious, and the teapot selection showed good taste, allowing you to enjoy tea and the views of Osaka Castle from your room. The hotel bathrobes were very comfortable, and even the hairdryer was a Dyson. The room key was a wooden hotel logo card attached to a wristband. It's fine if you're not going far, but I personally prefer a card-style room key that can fit in my wallet."

As a transportation hub, Tennoji makes it super convenient whether you're exploring the city's shopping districts, taking a day trip to Nara, or traveling to and from the airport, completely saving you the hassle of dragging your luggage long distances. There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, so you can grab breakfast, snacks, water, and basic necessities anytime. No need to hunt for a late-night bite. The room was clean and tidy, with all the essential facilities. Its unbeatable convenience and great value for money make it highly recommended for travelers who prioritize transportation."
