Guest UserThe environment is excellent, and I had a very comfortable stay. The window offers a great view, the room is spacious, and the ceiling height is good. I looked forward to coming back to the hotel every day. I visited Universal Studios for two consecutive days. The hotel is right by the JR station, offering a quiet escape despite being in a bustling area.

The room was compact but very comfortable, and impeccably clean. Its location is fantastic, being close to both the subway station and a bustling shopping street. The rooftop features a communal bathing area and an open-air hot spring. It was a thoughtful touch to be able to choose from over a dozen types of shampoos and conditioners, which made the bathing experience incredibly relaxing.

JosephineLWMFacilities: Upon entering the hotel, the front desk is located straight ahead on the left. On the right, there's a 24-hour supply of beverages, vanilla-flavored ice cream, and alcoholic drinks starting from 3 PM. Free ramen is available from 9 PM to 10 PM.
Service: I was assisted by a staff member named Jess. She was warm and polite, providing me with an introduction to the hotel and explaining the location of various facilities. I booked a private onsen for that day; it was 4000 yen for 1 hour for two people, and a room was also available for early check-in. The staff even thoughtfully gave me a small gift as they noticed my birthday was two days later.
If I have the chance to visit Osaka again, I would definitely consider staying here!

Facilities: Overall very good. Breakfast was just okay, but there's a convenience store and bakery downstairs, so you can easily book without breakfast and not worry about waking up early.
Hygiene: Very clean. Comes with a full set of Refa hairdryer, curling iron, and straightener.
Environment: The environment is great. There are large supermarkets and convenience stores downstairs, plenty of restaurants, and easy access to the subway.
Service: Couldn't check in early. I recommend communicating with the hotel in advance if you want an early check-in, otherwise, they won't let you check in early at all.
We stayed on the 50th floor in a triple room with single beds. The view was amazing, you could see USJ. It's also very close by subway or Uber.

Kate DzThat was my second stay at the Candeo chain but this one I loved more for location and better reception guys and girls who make you feel a special guest or even a friend, not just doing their job. I really appreciate that.
Wanna say huge thanks to everyone who work there, I cannot skip to mention an English speaking guy (I don’t wanna post his name for his privacy), his friendliness, kindness and sense of humor made me smile every time.
And for sure I’m gonna back to this hotel only, don’t even wanna look for another one for my next trip to Osaka.
Thank you, guys, you’re the best! You all are sunshine!
P.S. The hotel located literally in the middle of everything you need. Don’t even think, just book it and you’ll be satisfied at maximum, I swear.

Guest UserMy teenage boys thoroughly enjoyed the onsen, night ramen, ice cream, and massage chairs. The Dormy Inn is very conveniently located—Kitahama Station (Brown Line) is less than a 2-minute walk away, and Yodoyabashi Station is about a 7-minute walk at a normal pace. Convenience stores and restaurants are also within 1–3 minutes’ walk.
Aside from the cold winter temperatures, everything was excellent. There was no room cleaning during our 6-night stay; however, fresh towels were replenished daily. This is a quiet district, and if not for the winter chill, we would have gladly explored more of the surroundings on foot.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The room was cozy, and I had no problem fitting my suitcase and backpack. It came with a desk, kettle with amenities, a fridge, TV, charger, and hairdryer. Cleaning is by request, but they left a bag of fresh towels every day. Minor downsides: check-in is strictly at 3 PM – not a minute earlier. I would have liked more lighting, and there's no safe. The coded door lock is both a pro and a con. I visited the onsen on the second floor a couple of times – definitely worth it, and it was almost empty. In conclusion, it's a good hotel with a great location and cozy, clean, and comfortable rooms. 8.5/10

Guest UserI recently stayed at Hotel Hanshin Osaka during my trip to Osaka, and overall it was a very satisfying experience, especially for a first-time solo traveler visiting the city.
One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is definitely its excellent location. The hotel is conveniently connected to transportation, making it extremely easy to travel to many of Osaka’s famous attractions and shopping areas. Whether I wanted to visit Dotonbori, Umeda, Osaka Castle, or even take day trips to nearby cities, getting around was smooth and stress-free. For someone traveling alone and unfamiliar with Osaka, staying here made the entire trip feel much more comfortable and convenient.
Another thing that impressed me was the service provided by the hotel staff. The front desk employees were always polite, professional, and welcoming. They greeted guests with genuine smiles and were very helpful whenever I had questions. Even though there was sometimes a language barrier, they still tried their best to assist me, which made me feel appreciated as a guest. Good hospitality can really affect the overall travel experience, and this hotel certainly delivered in that aspect.
The room itself was clean and well-maintained. Although the room size was slightly small, which is quite common in Japan, the facilities inside were surprisingly complete and thoughtfully arranged. Everything I needed was provided, and the layout was efficient enough that I still felt comfortable during my stay. The in-room hot spring bath was also a very enjoyable feature. After spending long hours walking around Osaka every day, being able to relax in the warm bath at night was incredibly refreshing and helped me recover from fatigue.
If I had to mention one downside, it would only be the limited room space. However, considering the location, service quality, cleanliness, and facilities, I still think this hotel offers great value overall.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka for the first time, especially solo travelers who want a convenient, comfortable, and reliable place to stay.

jbbfbbMe and my husband enjoyed the stay very much. The hot spring was really good the room, even though it was very small. It was adequate enough and the hotel staff were very friendly and everything else was good. We would consider coming back here again if we are ever in Osaka.

This hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations; it's almost on par with a five-star hotel. I've stayed in many capsule hotels, and this one is the best. The large public bath has everything you could possibly need, they even provide swim trunks! Razors, toothbrushes, hand towels, bath towels, pumice stones, exfoliating mitts, and multiple types of facial cleansers – they have it all. Can you believe there's even an open-air bath? They also offer massages, but those are extra. And seriously, they even have a blood pressure monitor! After showering, you can grab a drink and some noodles, which can be charged directly to your room. The luggage area has a huge packing table, with space underneath for oversized luggage (I didn't use it so I don't know if there's a charge). The lounge area has sofas for watching TV, and even a smoking section – it's incredibly convenient! Right outside the hotel is Umeda Higashidori Street, where bunny girls invite you to all-you-can-drink deals, and there are all sorts of food options around. The capsule itself is quite spacious, and the bedding is incredibly clean – I mean five-star hotel quality clean. I don't understand why the rating is low; for me, the only 'downside' is that there are too many amenities and services to explore before I had to check out. For a capsule hotel, the service is almost too much! One final friendly tip: you'll still need to buy your own toothpaste...
