Conveniently close to food, shopping and about 10 mins walk to the train stations. Lively area at night, quiet in the mornings. Hotel was basic, service from the front desk felt transactional and lacked hospitality."

"This Hotel Vischio Osaka by JR West is in an absolutely fantastic location! It's just a few minutes' walk from Higobashi subway station, making it super convenient to get to Nakanoshima and the Science Museum. There are tons of restaurants nearby too, so finding a place to eat is a breeze. The hotel itself has a charming retro-luxury vibe, and the rooms are spotless. The in-room dryer is a lifesaver for travelers, and the large windows offer great views and plenty of natural light. Since it opened in 2020, all the facilities are modern and new. It's generally quiet and peaceful. I stayed in a twin room by myself, and there was plenty of space, and the bedding was really comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were kind and attentive. It offers great value for money, and the flexible free cancellation policy is a bonus. This is definitely my top choice when visiting Osaka's Nishi district. I'll be staying here again!"

"This stay was absolutely perfect! The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was spotless, with no unpleasant odors, and the bedding was so soft I slept incredibly well. The bathroom was clean and sparkling. "Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, with all daily necessities provided in the room, so there's no need to buy extra or bring your own. Each floor has self-service washing machines with both washing and drying functions, which is very convenient. Just prepare one-yen coins, or you can exchange them at the front desk. Hygiene: The hygiene is excellent, very clean overall. If you need your room cleaned, you need to put the cleaning sign on the door before 2 PM; otherwise, it won't be cleaned. Environment: The environment is superb, right in the city center, very close to Shinsaibashi and Umeda commercial districts, just one subway stop away. The subway is the Midosuji Line (red line), and it's about a 700m walk from the hotel. It's also quiet despite being in a bustling area. The hotel surroundings are very peaceful, with a 7-Eleven and a coffee shop right outside, and many restaurants and cafes nearby. Service: The service is great, and the staff are all very nice."

"We decided to stop again at this hotel, and it was really good! The hollywood room type was enough spaced and with a fantastic view☺️ The hotel had everything you could need: near reception, you could help yourself to tea or coffee to suit your taste, as well as face masks, body oils and creams. The room was equipped with bottles of water, a kettle, and toiletries for washing your hair and body. To use the ladies’ bath, you need to collect a card from reception beforehand. The onsen also had everything you could need: face wash, make-up remover and various types of shampoo. I’ll definitely stay at this hotel again if I’m in this city. Thank you to the staff for their professional approach to their work and for looking after the guests."

"The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right across from Daimaru Department Store and Parco Mall, with direct access to the Midosuji subway line downstairs. I especially want to praise the front desk staff. On the night of check-in, my suitcase lock broke, and I couldn't open it. I struggled to communicate using broken English and a translation app, but the front desk lady found a staff member who spoke Chinese to help. A kind gentleman with glasses and big eyes used a tool to open one of the zippers for me, saving me from the embarrassment of not having any clothes to change into in the hot weather. I'm truly grateful to the staff at Hotel Nikko for making my first trip to Japan such a positive experience. The room was also great. Since I wanted to sleep in during the day, I requested that housekeeping be done after 12 PM, and they always cleaned promptly every day. I was so busy every day that I only managed to take one photo of the Osaka Castle view from outside the hotel."

"This was my second stay here. The first time, I had a room for two people and it was tiny. This time, I booked a triple room and they upgraded us, which made it much more spacious. The location is super convenient; it's about a 5-6 minute walk from Nihonbashi subway station. Getting to the airport is easy too, as the airport shuttle stop is just a five-minute walk away. Dotonbori is right across the street, and Shinsaibashi is within walking distance. There are also plenty of drugstores nearby for shopping, and a 7-Eleven just a short walk down the street, which is always packed and bustling. The only downside is that the hotel's washing machines are always in use. I tried to use one countless times on my first day, carrying my dirty laundry back and forth, but it was still busy even past 1 AM. I finally managed to use one at 3:30 PM the next day."

"We booked a quad room for our family of four, and everyone got a great night's sleep. Shopping at department stores and drugstores was incredibly convenient, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. The picture shows our first meal, which we randomly picked on the 8th floor right below the hotel – it was delicious! The public transport nearby can take you to any attraction you want to visit. Both check-in and check-out were self-service and easy to use. Things to note: 1. Remember to ask the front desk for skincare products. 2. There's a microwave in the corner of the lobby for heating food. 3. For extra trash to be collected, you need to stick a yellow sticker (found behind the door) on the garbage bag. 4. There's no water in the room, but you can get drinking water in the lobby, or buy it daily from FamilyMart downstairs. Oh, and the direct airport bus service is really a big plus! I'm not a travel expert, but following a guide made everything straightforward. I saw mixed reviews for this hotel, but I still wanted to share my genuine experience for others' reference. It's a hotel that can really save you travel time, and I'd definitely choose it again next time I'm in Osaka."
