"Stepping into this hotel felt like going back in time to The Great Gatsby. It's probably the most luxurious hotel I've stayed at in Osaka. They really made good use of the public spaces, and the Peacock Alley is simply stunning – I could admire it all day. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, which made communication quite easy. Contrary to what I read online, the standard room was perfectly fine. I was given a high floor, and the room was spacious, well-divided, with plenty of space for luggage. The twin room had two queen-sized beds (1.5 meters each), making it very family-friendly. The downsides were the low water pressure in the bathroom and the water not getting hot enough. They provided Aesop amenities, and the ginger scent was lovely. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. It was semi-buffet style with limited variety, and the main courses were quite uninspired, not really matching the room rate. I do recommend the French toast among the main dishes, it was excellent. The biggest issue was the long queues, which really detracted from the experience. The hotel's location is quite good. Directly downstairs is Green Place with a wide variety of dining options, and Ushigoro is on the third floor. You can walk to department stores like Hanshin, but taking a taxi is more convenient for Hankyu."

"The hotel is located between Shichome and Morinomiya, about a 10-minute walk to both subway stations. You can take a bus to Umeda, and it's very close to Osaka Castle. Dining options nearby are limited, with a few cafes and sushi restaurants that all close after 10 PM. There are no convenience stores in the immediate vicinity; the closest ones are near the subway stations. However, there are plenty of vending machines in Japan, so getting water is easy. There's no airport shuttle service, and I didn't encounter any staff who spoke Chinese. Nevertheless, the check-in process was very smooth. The breakfast was quite extensive, primarily Western-style with some Chinese dim sum. It's semi-buffet; drinks and some dishes need to be ordered using the QR code on the table, which brings up a Chinese menu. The restaurant environment is very pleasant. There seemed to be a teppanyaki section, but I didn't try it."

"The location is extremely convenient. If you're looking for an old-school hotel vibe, you might find it here, but the facilities are really outdated – I couldn't stand them. The showerhead was in the bathtub and there was no separate shower, which was a real deal-breaker for me. I'll definitely stick to newer hotels from now on. The Japanese restaurant on the fifth floor was pretty good; I had sushi for a reasonable price, with 16k and 26k options available."

Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"Pros: The hotel's location is superb. You can directly access the lobby from the subway without even exiting the station. Step downstairs and you're ready to explore. Daimaru Department Store and the pedestrian street are right across the road, making it incredibly convenient for shopping. The views from the higher floors of the hotel are also excellent. Cons: Check-in is handled centrally and often involves queues. The lobby itself has very limited seating. The main road outside is bustling, but at night, modified cars and motorcycles create a lot of noise, which is quite noticeable even on the higher floors. Highlight - On the first night, we asked the front desk for earplugs, and the staff member was very nice and thoughtful. However, on the second night, when we went to the front desk for earplugs again, the staff had changed and their attitude was terrible. At first, they said they didn't provide earplugs. When we mentioned they did the night before, they checked and then claimed they were out of stock. Their entire demeanor was impatient and I strongly suspect they were being dishonest. One star."

The Hotel Agora Regency Osaka Sakai provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Hotel Agora Regency Osaka Sakai is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Sakai. From the hotel, Sakai Station is just 200m away. There's plenty to do nearby, with Round 1, 橋上ポルト之助 and Tatekawa sluice all within a short distance. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. Guests of this Sakai hotel can make use of the parking facilities. Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"This isn't a typical tourist town, but it has many hidden gem shops. SAKAINOMA Guesthouse does a great job with this, providing a detailed map. Upgrading the chairs in the lobby's common area would add a touch of luxury. The hotel is surrounded by filming locations for many TV shows and movies; it would be great if they could provide guests with a 'must-visit' checklist. There wasn't much meat available for breakfast. It would be a pleasant surprise if they converted two public bathrooms on the higher floors of the bay-view side. Overall, the price and experience are well worth it. Down by the train station, there's Yokozuna Ramen, Starbucks, Komeda, and a medium-sized supermarket, which offers discounted wagyu beef in the evenings."

Centara Grand Hotel Osaka is a new landmark in Namba- a vibrant entertainment and shopping district with a rooftop restaurant at a height of 134 meters

"This hotel is super close to Namba Station, which is a major transportation hub. It's a new hotel with very new facilities. The room is a bit small but very well-designed, and the bedding is really comfortable. The hotel has a very 'Thai' scent, which is quite unique. It seems they don't usually offer free room upgrades, but when I arrived, the front desk proactively offered a discounted upgrade. The hotel is also very near to Takashimaya and other shopping spots. The Namba area is great for exploring, and you can get to Umeda in just four subway stops. Definitely worth staying here!"

Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from JR Rinku Town Station. Our room offered a beautiful sea view, perfect for watching the sunset in the evening. We, a family of two adults and two children, booked a Japanese-Western style room with two single beds and space for two futon beds on tatami mats, which was very convenient. (We paid for four people in advance; if you don't select four people, there might be an extra charge for setting up additional futons, as it's not complimentary). The room was spacious and included a dedicated walk-in closet, with all necessary amenities. Each floor of the hotel also had a water dispenser and microwave oven. This hotel is very close to Kansai Airport, which was perfect for our early morning flight. Its location is incredibly convenient. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus service to Kansai Airport Terminal 1, which takes about 10 minutes and requires advance booking. Within 100 to 200 meters, there's a large outlet mall on the left-hand side, with plenty of dining and shopping options, and you can also take a stroll by the sea. Across the street from the outlet mall, there's a fairly large Don Quijote, which is very comprehensive and ideal for picking up souvenirs at the end of your trip, including some cosmetics and medicines. To the right of the hotel, there's a Cosmos drug store with a wide range of products, also worth exploring."

The Swissotel Nankai Osaka is a great choice for guests looking for accommodation in Osaka, having been recently renovated in 2025. Namba Station is located approximately 100m away from this hotel. Just a short walk from Namba Metro Station, traveling to most city destinations is a breeze. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Osaka hotel features parking on site. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"It's located in Namba which is one of the busiest and exciting neighborhoods in Osaka. Direct train to KIX in the same building is the biggest plus. Dotonbori is only 10 min walk away. We had an amazing sushi dinner a few mins from the hotel. You never get hungry staying there. Front desk staff speak very good English. If you opt out of breakfast, the cafe on 3rd floor facing express train station is an excellent choice for coffee and pastries. A few min walk there an excellent brunch cafe that opens at 8 am. If you arrive by train from Kyoto/Nara, it's a little past to n navigate to the hotel. Just get to the 3rd floor first around Takashimaya. Signage is mucus easier from there. Rooms are spacious. We picked the renovated room Swiss Select. It's absolutely worth paying a little bit more. I'll definitely stay there again should I be visiting Osaka in the future."
