"The location is undeniably lively and perfect for first-time visitors to Japan or Osaka. It's super convenient for transport, with popular spots like Kuromon Market, Shinsaibashi, and Dotonbori just a few minutes' walk away. There's a convenience store right downstairs, and plenty of restaurants, eateries, and izakayas in the vicinity. The hotel front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff are mostly Southeast Asian, and they can communicate in both Japanese and English. Overall, the facilities and environment were fine during our three-night stay, but the cleaning service was unlike anything I've encountered in Japan before. There wasn't a magnetic 'please clean' sign to put on the door for room service or linen changes. I had to go to the front desk to specifically ask for cleaning, and they replied that they just replace towels and empty bins daily at 11 AM. And that's exactly what happened – there was no further cleaning, and the bedspread wasn't tidied. This is something I really wasn't happy with."

All guest rooms are situated on the 16th floor and above. We were on a high floor, and through the room's enormous windows, the entire cityscape of Osaka unfolded beneath us. At night, the traffic lights on Midosuji Avenue looked like a golden river, and the distant Umeda Sky Building and Namba's high-rises glittered with lights. This feeling of being surrounded by the entire city was truly dreamy; I couldn't stop taking photos. 🚇 **Excellent and Convenient Location** The hotel is located on Osaka's main thoroughfare, Midosuji Avenue. While in a bustling area, it offers a peaceful retreat. Transportation is incredibly convenient; it's just a 3-5 minute walk from Yodoyabashi Station (Exit 13). Whether you're heading to Shin-Osaka for the Shinkansen or going shopping in Umeda or Shinsaibashi, it's only one subway stop away, or even walkable. * **Shopper's Paradise:** Walk or take one subway stop to Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street and Umeda Hankyu Department Store. * **Daily Conveniences:** Downstairs, there's a convenience store (7-Eleven), a drug store, and many local ramen shops and izakayas, so late-night dining is never a problem. 🛏️ **High-Quality Accommodation Facilities** The hotel's interior design is a modern, minimalist business style, very chic. The lobby is on the 15th floor, serving as both a reception area and a sky lounge with expansive views. * **Room Amenities:** For its class in Japan, this hotel offers surprisingly spacious rooms. There's plenty of space to open up suitcases. The attention to detail is excellent; in addition to standard toiletries, they even thoughtfully provide a hair straightener/curler, which is a lifesaver for women! The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the shower pressure is strong enough to wash away a day's fatigue. * **Executive Lounge:** If your budget allows, I highly recommend booking an executive floor room. The private lounge on the top floor offers unparalleled views. The afternoon tea desserts and happy hour cocktails are of high quality. Watching the sunset here while waiting for the night view creates an incredibly atmospheric experience."

"Location is just perfect. Easy access to lots of places of interest like dotonbori, Kuromon Market, takashiMaya, .... You may walk for around 30 to 40 minutes OR just ride on the MRT named Shin-Imamaya. From Shin-Imamaya, must exit East to reach the hotel. West exit do not provide elevator. Need to walk up and down with MANY MANY ten steps of staircase Abeno Q's Mall, Mio and Kintetsu department is located 1 km away. Tsusentaku towel is 200 m away. Donki Quijote is 400 m away Spa world is 100 m away. Best location in Osaka. The only complaint is the breakfast. I would not say they provided lots of food but sufficient in Japanese style food which I like. Western food is really really limited. Must take the breakfast before 9 am. Even though last order is 9.30 am but after 9 am food will not be topped up if they are running out. So you have very limited choices after 9 am. The breakfast cost 2000 yen. Not suggest to take their breakfast if not in the accomodations package. Overall satisfied."

"I stayed at this hotel for three nights. Pros: It's very close to Higobashi JR station, making it super convenient to get to Nishi-Umeda. Right outside the hotel, there's a coffee shop, 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, a popular ramen place (Jinkotora – delicious!), Matsuya, and Starbucks. The location is absolutely fantastic. Cons: There's no housekeeping service, not even for 'green' cleaning. They only hang towels outside your door. I really wish this information had been disclosed when I booked, rather than finding out only after I arrived at the hotel. I was quite disappointed about that. Secondly, the trash cans are tiny and don't come with trash bags. So, you can imagine the hallways on our floor were covered in unpackaged trash. Since there were no trash bags in the room, we tried to eat our takeaway in the lobby, but were told we couldn't eat anything there. Well, nothing we could do about that. I visited during the May Day Golden Week holiday, paying 2000 RMB for 3 nights. For that price, wouldn't a B&B have been a better option? While the location is good, I won't be returning to this hotel. I hope someone finds my objective review helpful. Thank you."

"The hotel's location is great, very close to Osaka Station and Umeda. The service was excellent; we arrived around 11 AM and were able to check in early. Other services were also very good, and the room was nice with no issues. The breakfast was abundant and tasty, and the small pastries were particularly delicious. They offer a free hot spring and a hot stone sauna, which was a good experience. The environment was pleasant, and free drinks were provided."

"This is my second stay here, and it offers great value for money with clean rooms. This time I came with my son, and we booked two separate rooms without any hesitation. The hotel's location is excellent; although it's a bit of a walk to the Midosuji Line, it's a straightforward walk down one street from the hotel, and there are FamilyMart and Lawson convenience stores along the way. The hotel provides various luggage forwarding services, like Airporter and sending luggage to your next hotel, which are very convenient. The front desk staff are incredibly helpful, answering every question and providing hands-on instructions. This time, I had a late flight. After checking out in the morning, I stored my luggage. When I returned around 6 PM, the hotel front desk was still able to help me fully charge my devices, and I used the restroom before heading out. Their service truly stands out among chain hotels. The bed is large and comfortable, though the pillow was a bit high. The air conditioning allows you to adjust both heating and cooling. Most importantly, the smoke detector above the bed doesn't have a red light, which is perfect for light and sound-sensitive sleepers."

"It's been over 10 years since I last visited Osaka, so I specifically booked this hotel nearby. I chose it based on the price, ratings, and reviews, and it definitely didn't disappoint – it exceeded my expectations! It offers incredible value for money. It's only a 5 to 8-minute walk from the busiest part of Shinsaibashi. The facilities are very new, and the service is excellent. The room facilities were better than I expected, and I was lucky enough to be assigned to the top floor, so the view was incredibly open and bright. If I could stay on the top floor again next time, that would be absolutely wonderful."

"This hotel was the perfect base for my tours. The main pickup point was very close by. It's a bit further from Umeda Station than some others, but still easily walkable. "Although Hotel Nikko is an older establishment, it's incredibly well-maintained. **Facilities:** Excellent! The shower, toilet, refrigerator, and kettle are all high-quality and fully equipped. **Cleanliness:** I felt completely at ease and comfortable using everything. **Location:** Situated right in the heart of Shinsaibashi, with direct access to Shinsaibashi Station from the basement, making it super convenient for exploring the area. Plus, getting to the airport is a breeze: just a leisurely stroll through the Shinsaibashi shopping street to Namba Station, then take the Nankai Express directly to Kansai Airport. Couldn't be easier! **Service:** Top-notch Japanese service. The hotel provides a comprehensive range of amenities, so you barely need to bring your own, and the brands are quite good. Breakfast offers both Japanese and Western options, both of which are delicious."
