"Great location, beautiful views, perfect for a relaxing getaway in Railay. I stayed at Sand Sea Resort, Railay Beach, Krabi, from July 28-30, 2026. Overall, it was a good and impressive experience. The biggest highlight is the resort's location right on Railay Beach, making it convenient to get to the beach and other attractions. The surroundings of the accommodation are lush, peaceful, and offer beautiful natural views, truly ideal for relaxation. The room was clean, the atmosphere within the resort was pleasant, and there were areas to walk around and unwind. The staff provided polite service. Overall, it's an accommodation that meets the needs of those looking to experience the nature, sea, and tranquility of Railay Beach. I was particularly impressed with the location and views. "The hotel staff were welcoming, kind, and very accommodating. The rooms were clean, cozy, and had a safe. The rooms themselves looked decent. The location was excellent, just a 5-minute walk from a large 7/11. It's also not far from where the longtail boats gather at Railay Beach. The shower room was large and spacious."

"I had a very pleasant stay here. After spending 2 nights in the Ao Nang area, I decided to spend my last night somewhere more private and away from the crowds, and this hotel was the perfect choice. I celebrated my birthday here, and it made the experience even more memorable. The restaurant served really delicious food, and the prices were quite reasonable for the quality and atmosphere. The view was absolutely majestic — unfortunately, I couldn’t catch the sunset because the weather was about to rain, which was a bit sad. Special thanks to Angela for really taking note of my requests and making my stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was such a peaceful and beautiful stay, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing escape in Krabi"

"Visited in peak season (January) and it was incredibly crowded. All rooms were booked, and Railay Beach was packed like sardines. The facilities are definitely 4-star. I tried both the private bungalow, which was about 300+ baht more, and the basic double room. The independent private bungalow offered a much better bathroom and a more resort-like atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend not skimping on that extra cost. The sunrise and the night view when it's less crowded at Railay Beach are still beautiful. However, I'm genuinely fed up with Southeast Asia. Even if you're willing to spend a lot, the sheer number of people everywhere makes it feel like a budget backpacker trip. Oh, and a point I haven't seen mentioned: currently, the boats from the hotel to Ao Nam Mao pier (which doesn't require wading) are very infrequent, only at times like 2 PM and 4 PM. I suggest just taking the public boats; they depart once enough people have gathered. Also, this hotel is a 4-star, and the main difference from a 5-star is the lack of service – everything is self-service. Come prepared for that. One more thing: if you want to go to Ton Sai Beach, which is next to Railay Beach, I recommend wading through the water from the beach. Just be careful. Don't take the other mountain path! That experience was really bad – the path is narrow, difficult to walk, very primitive, and unmaintained, and you'll get bitten a lot."

"I arrived at Phi Phi by ferry from Phuket, and at the pier, someone was waiting with a sign bearing the hotel's name (he probably meets every ferry, as I didn't specify my arrival time). After a five-minute wait for all the tourists, we took a boat taxi to the hotel. They helped with the suitcases (loading them onto the boat), and the ride was about 5 minutes at most. Transfers to the hotel from the pier and back to the pier upon checkout are free. I received a room upgrade because my original room was occupied, but it was for the best. They gave me a spacious room, though it was at the very top. Getting there required some effort, walking uphill, but it's good to not just relax all the time! This was all compensated for by the amazing view of the pristine Long Beach. There's a steep path down to this beach right behind the building, but everyone uses it. The room was spotless, with 2 bottles of water daily, clean white linens, and a comfortable bed. The bathroom had a window overlooking the beach, and there was a hammock on the balcony. In the morning, a family of three monkeys visited me, so it's important to keep the doors closed and not leave things on the balcony. The baby monkey played with my swimsuit but must not have liked it, as he left it for me! It was beautiful; thinking back, I want to return. Breakfasts included scrambled eggs, pancakes, cheese, sausages, vegetables, bread, salad, pastries, fruits, and juices – pretty standard for Thailand, and everything was delicious. On the beach, there's sand, but to the left, there are rocks and corals. I snorkeled there (they provide masks, but I had my own). There were many fish of all sizes; the snorkeling was excellent. You can get to the pier by boat taxi, which costs 150 baht during the day and 250-300 baht after dark (you can haggle for the return trip at the pier). There's a 7/11 at the pier if you need to buy anything. In the evening, there's live music at the hotel restaurant, and on some days, they have fire shows. It's very quiet at the hotel in the evenings."

"A hotel in the jungle! Surrounded by lush greenery! Incredible mountain views! Clean pool! The cabin itself is more of a bunkhouse; staying there for more than a day or two is impossible. It's just a mattress on the floor! No wardrobe, table, or other usual amenities. But let's not forget it only costs 1000 rubles. For that price, spending one or two nights there is fantastic 🔥. They even let us check in with photos of our passports because we forgot to bring the originals!"

"Beautiful hotel in Ao Nang located up in the mountains, surrounded by jungle. The rooms are spacious, wooden, and feel like a little retreat. There’s a shuttle that takes you up to your room, which is fun, but if you want to walk everywhere or walk to the beach easily, this place is probably not for you. Also, if you’re a light sleeper, keep in mind you’ll hear nature sounds at night. There’s a 7-Eleven nearby though, which is convenient. The pool is beautiful, but they don’t sell alcohol there, so just know that in advance. Breakfast was okay, maybe 3/5, but the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was really special."
