"Visited in peak season (January) and it was incredibly crowded. All rooms were booked, and Railay Beach was packed like sardines. The facilities are definitely 4-star. I tried both the private bungalow, which was about 300+ baht more, and the basic double room. The independent private bungalow offered a much better bathroom and a more resort-like atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend not skimping on that extra cost. The sunrise and the night view when it's less crowded at Railay Beach are still beautiful. However, I'm genuinely fed up with Southeast Asia. Even if you're willing to spend a lot, the sheer number of people everywhere makes it feel like a budget backpacker trip. Oh, and a point I haven't seen mentioned: currently, the boats from the hotel to Ao Nam Mao pier (which doesn't require wading) are very infrequent, only at times like 2 PM and 4 PM. I suggest just taking the public boats; they depart once enough people have gathered. Also, this hotel is a 4-star, and the main difference from a 5-star is the lack of service – everything is self-service. Come prepared for that. One more thing: if you want to go to Ton Sai Beach, which is next to Railay Beach, I recommend wading through the water from the beach. Just be careful. Don't take the other mountain path! That experience was really bad – the path is narrow, difficult to walk, very primitive, and unmaintained, and you'll get bitten a lot."

"Cleanliness, facilities and view is acceptable for what it is. My experiences here are very pleasant, however the cycling group I’m in had mixed experiences. Something about damaged hanger and misplaced room umbrella. The receptionists explained to me the situation and I find it completely understandable for what they have to do and the position they are in. So basically - inform reception if there’s any damages to property in the room and be mindful of the provided umbrella for each room. They are designated to each room and cannot be mixed up with others’. There will be a penalty for loss and damage of property as per usual for any other hotels. Personally I brought my own umbrella and I kept the room as neat and clean as possible. Make life great for others and life will be great for yourself."

"The hotel has a great location, not far from Ao Nang Beach and close to 7-Eleven, Starbucks, and a wide variety of restaurants. However, the hotel's room cleaning management—both before check-in and during the stay—did not meet expectations, likely due to cleaning staff being overwhelmed by high occupancy. On the first day, check-in was scheduled for 14:00, but upon arrival, the staff asked us to wait another 20 minutes. Since the check-in was delayed, I asked if we could get a late check-out. During our stay, housekeeping came early on the first day, but on the second day, we had to request cleaning. Having stayed 3 nights, I doubt they even changed the bed sheets 😅. Also, I had a wound on my foot and bought a bandage from 7-Eleven. When I walked back to the hotel, the bandage fell off, so I went to the front desk to ask for a plaster. The staff checked and said, 'We're completely out of stock.' I had to walk out with the wound exposed and go buy another one at 7-Eleven. The facilities are diverse and well-equipped, with plenty of activities for guests. Overall cleanliness is fair; the curtains are starting to get moldy, and there is mold on the bathroom tile grout. Considering the price, it's acceptable. The breakfast has a good variety, focusing mainly on chicken—if you want pork bacon, you have to ask the staff. There are a lot of Indian and Chinese guests. They did decorate the room for my birthday, though."

"The location is excellent. It is seafront on both sides. This is a sprawling resort with different types of rooms, ranging from chalets to villas. There are three pools and a restaurant. The reception staff is welcoming and hospitable. The restaurant staff are helpful and the breakfast spread is good. It also changes daily. Vegetarian options are available. The rooms are well appointed."

"Overall, my stay was pretty decent. The highlight was definitely the cleaning lady, she was incredibly sweet, welcoming, polite, and genuinely made my stay much more comfortable. The ladies at the front desk were also very pleasant, and the breakfast staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is very convenient, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, my experience with one male front-desk employee was very different. From check-in through checkout, I found his behavior toward me noticeably unfriendly and uncomfortable. At times, it came across as potentially discriminatory. I chose not to address it during my stay, but it was noticeable enough to affect my overall impression. Staff interacting with guests from different backgrounds should always remain professional, courteous, and welcoming, regardless of their personal feelings. Management may want to reinforce this expectation with employees, as one person’s behavior can negatively affect an otherwise positive experience. Aside from this, I received great service. A special thank you again to the cleaning lady—she was amazing and truly made my stay comfortable."

"The front desk staff provided excellent service, they were lovely and offered great recommendations. The room was good, and the breakfast was a mini-buffet, which was decent. The hotel is located right on Tubkaek Beach, and you can take long walks along the beachfront."

"The hotel is really good. The rooms are very clean and the staff is excellent. The location is also great if you rent a scooter. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't usable during our stay, and I only found out about it upon arrival. Also, the Wi-Fi signal is very weak, which is a shame because everything else is great. +1 for the view from the room"

"We booked a family room. Inside, everything was just like the pictures. Now I understand what people mean in reviews by 'a bit tired' room. Be careful with the sofa, you can really feel the crossbars. The walk to the pool was a bit long, and the pool itself seemed smaller than in the pictures and smelled of chlorine. The grounds, however, are like a magical forest at the foot of a majestic mountain, full of paths, flowers, and palm trees. It's especially enchanting in the evening with the lanterns. 👍 They clean thoroughly!"

"This is our second stay, and once again, we're absolutely thrilled with the hotel. It's a wonderful family-friendly hotel with kind, welcoming, and attentive staff. "Though km traveling solo, I never felt lonely. The staff in this hotel are so friendly and given their best hospitality for us to enjoy our stay. They offer many facilities outside and you dont even need to book yr island hopping via klook or anything walking distance to night market and shops for food. There are no complaints about here. Suggest u to take the river view facing rooms. Thanks to Pang for the kind hospitality"
