The location was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, noise from the hallway was constantly audible, and an outdoor light that seemed to be motion-activated kept turning on and off throughout the night, making it very difficult to sleep.

Good location around 5min from metro station l. Clean room and good breakfast l. Overall, it is a decent place for the given price, a little bit on the old side with a feel of 80s.

The hotel was clean and big rooms. However it was a bit outdated and bed was not very comfy but it was good for a night, the breakfast was great 😊

I spent three nights at the Hampton by Hilton and had a wonderful stay. The hotel’s location is ideal, as most attractions are within easy walking distance. The property is clean and well maintained, offering a comfortable base for exploring Budapest. While the double bed felt a little small, the sofa bed was spacious and very comfortable, making it suitable for three adults. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a good variety, and I appreciated the convenience of water dispensers on every floor. Overall, an excellent choice that I would gladly return to on a future visit to Budapest.

A fantastically clean and very well located hotel. Right in the centre of town and has just enough to provide a comfortable stay. However, the 8:30am knocks from housekeeping are very annoying and a fridge is something management should consider - as there is room for one. Breakfast pastries and coffee were great, but hot items lacking and need improvement.

I was traveling through Europe by motorcycle and passed through Budapest. Since I was traveling alone, I found a good value hotel in the city center! The cleanliness, location, and service were excellent. The slightly older facilities and decor were understandable, considering the price was very affordable! There were also many Chinese guests, and the front desk staff spoke English without any issues!

The location is perfect near the square,service is good , breakfast was good also , they have nice area for breakfast out and inside seating , no fridge or kettle in room . My room was with balcony which was perfect view for the square.

A great hotel in its price category. Near (minute 7 walk) subway station. The room is small but enough to stay. The room has air conditioning, refrigerator, fan. Good breakfast. We had breakfast in a cozy interior courtyard - beauty. From the downsides - noise isolation no and air conditioner is installed so that blows exactly on the bed (we had number 309)

The nowadays Hotel Chesscom has come a long way from the previous Hostel/Guesthouse to nowadays offer a highly professional Hotel, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, strong and stable wifi. Excellent breakfast. Across the street from the 200E Bus service to the Airport. The smell from the canalisation in the bathroom is a little bit unpleasant at times.

Best wifi in IBIS in Europe. If you really need it, Get the business center wifi. And Very good location and free tea and water. Strongly recommend.
