Thank you...Room 371 (23-25 Nov. 2025)
We checked in at 1am in night and before that we had a word with someone from hotel that can we check out at 3pm next day as we will be leaving 3pm, that time the staff said that okay you come down here and then we settle things up for you. Once we reached here, they totally denied that they wont be able to help, still we understood their things we told them atleast provide a place for keeping our luguage to which they certainly provided us. Once we were back to hotel and asked the reception guy that if he can provide us a room for 1 hour as we wanted to rest and we were ready to pay for the same to which he totally denied that no we dont have a room when entire hotel have so ***y vacant rooms. Atleast hotel ***agement should have basic hu*** decency to gove their guest the most memorable stay instead of spoiling the trip.
Pathetic experience. Also they dont have basic eminity of dustbin in the rooms, their health faucet was broke, they don't even provide basic toiletries also.
After few minutes we again went to him and asked him what will be the charges for 1 hour and he asked for Rs.600 and we booked this hotel for a days in 850! Comm'on guys like seriously?
Won't ever recommend this hotel as the reception guy is not at all helpful.
It was an average stay this time. The hotel is under renovation. So check before booking. The location of the hotel is good but because of ongoing renovation, the overall condition of the hotel was not the same as it use to be. Television doesn't work, party/conference hall converted into restaurant. Overall condition of rooms not as per standards of noorya.
Quite average service considering it is ibis. The staff is really slow to respond with some being rude and unbothered at times. Blatantly refusing bellboy services and asking us to carry our own luggage. Breakfast was good. Guards were really helpful though. Ample parking space. Rooms are a bit small but ***ageable.
Their online system for room check in was not working. Every time you want to enter the room you will need to find the staff. Washroom basin was logged with water.
This hotel is really good. By Indian standards, it's absolutely fantastic! Everything was clean: the bed linen, the towels. The furniture and plumbing were in good condition, and everything worked perfectly. The location is convenient, very close to a metro station, and you can walk to the most beautiful Victorian-era buildings. The staff are very attentive, always ready to help and answer any questions. For breakfast, they prepared omelets, fried eggs, various pastries, and local dishes – in short, you could get a very satisfying meal.
We weren't entirely lucky with our room (410, on the first floor of the building next to the main one): it had no window and was very humid, so sleeping on a damp bed wasn't very pleasant. We'd wake up in complete darkness even when the sun was shining brightly outside. Also, right next to our door, something was making a lot of noise in the evenings, like a washing machine or some kind of pump. And overall, we could hear conversations, mobile phone calls, etc., very clearly from outside the door. We didn't discover all these drawbacks right away, so we decided not to ask for another room, as we really didn't want to move our things back and forth. But to future guests, I'd like to recommend: if they give you room 410, it's best to immediately ask to be moved somewhere else.
The hotel buffet breakfast was the highlight of our stay.
The Comfort rooms were renovated a long time ago, and shows signs of being dated (ex. the wallpaper peeling off, or mildew around the shower). Staff and the service was generally excellent. Construction/renovations meant there sometimes was noise to wake you in the morning. The pool looked like no one has used it in years.
Extremely delighted of my Stay with IHG-Holiday Express (Hinjewadi). Customer friendly staff, always smiling and welcoming. Special thanks to Vineet, who facilitated early checking, comfortable stay and delightful interaction - making sure that IHG care with a smile. a BIG thank you.
MMiguel CL TsaiThe hotel service is very good, and the equipment is quite new. However, the elevator is slow to respond. Many times, I thought it had sensed the room card, but it ended up running to another floor. The food is good, but the lack of bacon is the only regret.
EElena KrvWe stayed for one night before a cruise.
The hotel is tired, but cozy. The windows overlooked the neighboring building, so it was quiet. We were able to sleep well after a sleepless night the night before due to the flight. There is a dental kit in the bathroom, a tea set and water in the room.
The breakfast is unusual, but you can choose something suitable.
Everything that was cheaper at the time of booking looked much sadder from the photos.
Very convenient location. We walked around all the sights, Churchgate station is nearby, from where you can get to the Dhobi Ghat laundry and the Dharavi slums.
The only thing I didn't like was that when we entered, they almost snatched our suitcases and hands from us to carry them to the room, although we resisted, and when we were taken to the room, we gave 100 rupees, the porter looked at us as if we gave him 1 rupee. We did not need his service and did not withdraw money in principle.

AAnonymous UserI stayed for 2 nights on Friday and Saturday. The first floor was a club, and the music was echoing with a lot of explosions from around 20:00 to around 26:00. Recommended for club lovers.
It is good because it is close to India gate and each tourist attraction, but it is painful in the lack of sleep.
The window in the room is not key. Easy to intrude.
The bathroom is so water pressure in the shower, the window is not completely closed, and there is no net door and the insect is easy to enter.
No toilet paper. No toothbrush. There is body soap and shampoo. No conditioner.
Breakfast is not rich in variety, but not bad.
The breakfast venue is quite difficult to understand.
The breakfast venue staff is blunt, but it is effective and kind.
In the morning, there was a newspaper at the entrance of the room.
The hotel corridor and stairs are relatively clean.
There is a PC work desk, but the chair is high.
GGuest Userfront office was very helpful, done arrangements for my travel to drop me @ station from hotel, as I was with my little once. But cleaning should be improve when we check in bedding was very dirty in occupancy room. Room TV was not working, bathroom was very stinky.
GGuest UserOverall, I highly recommend Hotel The Monarch for anyone looking for a luxurious and stress-free stay. The combination of exceptional food, prime location, top-tier amenities, and outstanding service makes it a fantastic choice for both business and leisure travelers.
GGuest UserActually it was really bad experience, I booked it for my friend, it was dirty, with cockroaches and hair all over .my friend made a deal with them about the refund, it supposed to go to my account as i paid for that , amd they never did . Not recommend to stay there . I know 200$ it’s a lot for someone in India , but hell , do what you promised!!!
PPANCHALIf you traveling solo or family then I don't recommend this place. Bathrooms is not hygienic at all. Room is dusty. food is good , view from restaurant is also good but restaurant staff is not professional they will stare at you while eating food. View from room is good. Room amenities not provided. And charges are high too. Nearby to war memorial and cricket stadium. Hotel staff help to arrange cabs . But I will recommend search other

FFRITZ GERALDTo be honest, I booked 2 Days before arrival for 08-11JAN25. There was nothing less 100 USD per night in Colaba. With my booking I was requesting a room with Kingsize bed on a higher floor. I got a Twin Room on lower floor! After complaining, the Manager Lady gave me a King Bed Room - but still 3. Floor! Guys, don't live on that low level at all! It was noicy all day and all night! Just between 02-05 AM I could sleep a bit! I think. lower then 6. Floor there is no daylight, no quietness and no chance to open the windows! No View of course (especailly no sea view as mentioned in the hotel description here)!
At the end I enjoyed it a bit, cause most of the time I was outside Hotel anyway.
A Hotelroom should be a heaven of peace, comfort and quietness!
Last night both of my neighbor rooms where occupied with locals (men). I was in the middle! Talking, Drinking, cooking Rice and clapping the doors permanently! Crazy! So, be careful guys when booking this Hotel! Even its New (just 1 year old now)!
