Bed Friends Poshtel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bed Friends Poshtel in Chiang Rai, Thailand, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. Let me break down my stay for you. First and foremost, one of the highlights of this poshtel is its convenient location. Finding delicious food options in the neighborhood was incredibly easy, which is a must for any traveler. Additionally, the fact that it was just a 4-minute walk to a laundry facility was a huge convenience, especially for those of us on extended trips. The poshtel also offers tours right from its location, which is a great way to explore the beautiful surroundings of Chiang Rai. Furthermore, they have a coworking space, which I found extremely useful. I used it multiple times to complete my online school work, and having a quiet space when needed was a real plus. Now, onto the room. I stayed in a small room, and while it was cozy, I did encounter a minor issue with the air conditioning not working properly. However, I suspect that this may have been due to user error, so I wouldn't hold it against the establishment. One aspect that could use some improvement is the signage regarding restroom facilities. It would be helpful if there were clearer indications of which gender should use the showers and toilets. I had a slightly amusing but potentially awkward encounter when I found a man getting out of the shower in the women's restroom. While it didn't upset me, I believe better signage could prevent such incidents from occurring. On a positive note, the bathrooms and eating areas were consistently clean during my stay, which is always appreciated. One of the standout features of Bed Friends Poshtel was the friendly staff. They were always ready to assist and make my stay comfortable. Despite a minor hiccup with the AC and a signage issue, I would definitely consider staying at Bed Friends Poshtel again in the future. The convenience of the location, availability of tours, and the presence of a coworking space made my stay enjoyable, and the welcoming staff added to the overall positive experience.

We stayed here recently, and while the room was big, it felt a bit bare, there wasn’t much furniture, just one bedside table and no proper chair - only a stool. There was no coffee or kettle in the room, but you can get free hot water at the café downstairs (just ask for it) and purchase instant coffee packets, or get a fresh brewed coffee for a fair price. The room had windows at the front and back, but only the one facing the walkway had an insect screen, which was odd since it doesn’t offer any privacy when the window and curtains are open. The back window opened onto an open field, but has no screen. The curtains were about 80% light-blocking, so the room stayed dim after sunrise. The beds were comfy, but the Wi-Fi signal in our room was weak and slow, we had to use our mobile phone data to get decent speeds. Parking is limited, and all the spaces were taken by 8 PM, so plan ahead if you’re driving. There was quite a lot of construction noise starting around 9 AM, but considering it was shortly after the floods, it’s understandable they needed to do repairs. Overall, it’s okay for a short stay if you don’t mind a few quirks, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

It's a quiet and secluded hotel that's a good place to rest comfortably, even though it's far from the city. If you're looking for a quiet place, it's probably fine. I stayed in the villa building and it's spacious. The bathroom has an instant water heater, but only lukewarm water comes out, so it was a little uncomfortable to shower. And a simple breakfast is provided.

Wonderful, friendly and professional staff. Hotel is modern and squeaky clean. Daily housekeeping. Free bottles of water, tea and coffee. We really liked the glass water bottles which we think are sustainable. Room is spacious for two people. All the amenities for a comfortable stay. Comfy bed but the pillows were too high, made uncomfortable to sleep on it. Good air-conditioning. Ample hot water. Bathroom with good fittings. Water pressure was impressive. Spacious refrigerator which is cool. Flat screen tv with local tv channels. Nice indoor swimming pool but open roof so during the daytime it gets enough sunlight. Hotel provides washing machine with a drier. 100 Baht for wash and dry for one hour cycle. Free bicycles for a deposit of 500 Baht. Hotel's location is great which is walking distance to the main bus stop, night bazaar and the temples. We highly recommend this hotel.

Intend to book this accommodation for 2 nights. To see Nang Phaya Sua Krong flowers at the Ngao-Ngao upper reach management unit and going up Phu Chee Fah It is an accommodation near such a place. Can drive up by yourself But just during the visit Phaya Sua Krong flowers have almost fallen. Therefore stayed for one night Allowing to leave another night to go Other places during the day, the accommodation looks lonely. On the day of going there were only 5 rooms, there was a coffee shop in the accommodation, but it was closed and probably the part of the reception of the guests. There is no staff waiting for the guests to stay at all. You have to call by yourself, I understand that it is out of season, the accommodation condition will look a bit shabby. But it's clean. The picture on the page should be during the flourishing period. This one is not stuck. You can rest. The bathroom has a practical water heater. No soap and shampoo service in the bathroom. Recommend to bring your own. There is a towel. The toilet has a spray line. There are two bottles of water. There is a TV to watch. There are only 2 power sockets in the room. A little less if you want to watch TV. Will not charge your mobile phone, have to choose not. One thing But there is another hole on the balcony The day I went, the weather was quite cold. Probably couldn't sit and charge the lights on the balcony There is a balcony to see the view behind the room. But the balcony behind the room can walk across to find the next room. If coming to stay alone It will not be a little comfortable. I'm afraid There is no kettle in the room. But ask with the staff There he was very helpful. Breakfast is chicken porridge because this place should be Islamic, good taste, bread + jam, coffee, overall delicious.
